   DOC buffalo cheese is absolutely mouth watering, loved the pizza too! Amazing food, only complaint is the tiramisu seems to have halved in size since I last bought it a year ago, and it’s price has remained the same. Everything is a tad overpriced, including dishes that don’t even have the fancy buffalo cheese, so can’t be justified 😭.

   Doc is in such a great location with lots of parking nearby. Food is always great and I definitely recommend ordering one of the original pizzas. They are delicious. My only negative comment is that the staff literally force you out of the place. I was catching up with a friend and the staff were non stop attending to me (in an over the top way). I felt my experience was very rushed. Other than that I had an overall enjoyable time.

    The service was impeccable, our waiter was one of the best we have experienced in a long time and we eat out a lot. Food and drinks came out quickly. It’s been a few years since we visited DOC Pizza and happy to experience the same great quality food and service. Well done team.

    Food was beautiful, brilliant service from our waitress, chianti was brilliant, tiramisu was delicious. Their salad and mozzarella were my partner's highlight which I can't fault. I can see why they can have many locations in Melbourne. Keen to go back!

    Overall 10/10! This place is amazing in all aspects. Food taste was incredible. Recommend the burrata and focaccia for starters. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Value 10/10 you definitely get what you pay for in DOC🙌🏽🙌🏽

    We visit Doc’s frequently, either in Carlton or Mornington. Unfortunately, last night’s was not the best. We were seated upstairs which has no ambiance, it was freezing (air conditioning too cold), the music was bloody loud and the food was not the best compared to previously. Our order was not fulfilled - salads not delivered. Not offered coffee/sweets. We were there celebrating my son’s birthday. Thanks

    Firstly we order a bottle of wine and a burrata to come with a pizza. What arrived was a burnt focaccia, a burrata and 2 glasses of wine. We had burrata left to finish with our pizza when it came but the pizza took so long that a waiter took the rest of our app before it was finished. So quickly so that we didn’t even have a second to tell them we weren’t finished with it yet. Was maybe 30 or more minutes before the pizza came which tasted really good. However the base of the pizza was vastly different thickness. The first half of the pizza was quite good, nice dough. The second half of the pizza was like eating a cracker. At the end of the meal we weren’t asked how it was and were asked how much we would like to tip. Not wanting to tip, as it isn’t the culture in Australia as well as I tip for good service which I get I didn’t quite receive. I felt more pressured as the server stood over my shoulder staring at the screen as input my selection.

    What a wonderful night! great food, even better service, the knowledge and the love put in by the staff blew up away, thank you doc ! We’ll be back for more! We had the Cicoria and San Danielle, complimented by a taste rucola and pear salad, didn’t feel rushed at all, made for an incredible night ! Grazie !

    Very good pizzas with some unusual topping combinations. Great, fast service. Arrived a bit early for our booking but was not a problem. Only downside is that tables are very, very close together.

    Our pizzas were very good. Service staff had attitude which we found very strange. We assumed there must be a problem between staff and management. Overall it’s overpriced with some pizzas over $30 and the wine was very expensive for a pizza joint.

    I want to preface this review by highlighting that I understand that mistakes happen, however the service I experienced following the mistake that affected one of my friends who I was dining with yesterday was simply unacceptable. I dined with a group of friends and was extremely disappointed with the service. My friend asked for the radicchio salad without dairy and clearly specified that this was because she was severely allergic to dairy. The waiter did not listen and proceeded to serve her salad with the dairy components. She spent the evening very unwell in the bathroom at the restaurant and when I mentioned this to the waiter they didn’t offer to compensate us for this extremely poor service. After spending $370 on food for six, and insisting on some understanding from the waiter as to why this was not okay, all that we received was a $20 discount for the salad that made her unwell. It wouldn’t have taken much to improve this situation and I am really disappointed in the staff who served us.

    We eat at DOC every time we are in Melbourne and it never disappoints. The food is excellent. Our favourites are the mozzarella tasting plate and the DOC pizza. The service is attentive and knowledgeable. It’s always busy so it’s a good idea to book a table which is easy to do online.
