Really good food. Beautiful interiors. That staff were great and didn’t make us feel rushed to get out after our two hour slot. Just think the prices are a bit high for pasta dishes.
Thursday 13th - 6:00 pm was my 2nd time here. This time the overall experience was very disappointing ... it took a long time until we even got a menu then 30 min before they got our order. The waiters were dismissive. Food arrived cold. by the time we got our desert was 9:00 pm!!
There was a table of 3, that were very loud, number guest left because of them. Yet the staff didn't approach them once to ask them to keep the noise down. (because the staff were no where to be found)!!
I wont be visiting the restaurant again ... what a pity... It is great location and has a lot of potential.
Lovely food and staff that looked after the client
Great food and wine at Dolce Sicily. We had dinner and the frito misto and aubergine starters were excellent. The lamb chops were divine. Very large glasses of wine! Also we were given a little amuse bouche which was a nice touch. Bread and oil very good standard. Only quibble - the dinner restaurant is three floors up and toilet is in the basement!
Will definately go again for wine and nibbles on the lower levels of the premises - the plates of charcuterie looked amazing
Good food, good atmosphere, good service, good price. A full 8.
Amazing place and great food! Team is excellent and does take care of you! We will be back!
Delicious food just off Grafton Street! Desserts were fresh and very tasty :) Other guests were abit loud but this was after a nice meal and perhaps a fee glasses of wine!
We had a lovely evening in Dolce Sicily. Excellent service and very thoughtful. They made a special effort for one of the party whose birthday it was. Lovely food especially the seafood starter and the tiramisu, both of which were outstanding. Nice wine list, good choice of wines by the glass. We'll definitely be back.
Was in Dolce Sicily last night for the first time and was extremely impressed! The staff are lovely. Food is really, really good & there’s a great ambiance. Very authentic Sicilian food & a great wine list. This is a restaurant I’ll definitely be recommending to friends.
Outstanding food and service....in a city of mostly pub food, this is a welcome change of pace and an absolute gem! Highly recommended!!!
We had an amazing dinner, the presentation, flavours and taste. The ambiance, music and the staff was just perfect. Their red wine recommendation was superb we both had a different wine to match what we ordered.
Our overall experience was fantastic and would definitely recommend it for an evening out in Dublin.
Great Italian pasta with seafood and lovely desserts. Limoncello takes you to Italy. Few tables upstairs which creates intimate atmosphere.
Our favorite go-to restaurant in the city center. Have recommended to every friend visiting Dublin. Fab breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and divine pastries. Warm and friendly staff. 100% authentic Italian. Favoloso!
Great wine & food. Best Service
We had a very good dinner, enjoyed the food and wine, also very nice and interesting interior, will definitely come back again
Had a great time, lovely staff and delicious food! Would recommend :)
Fantastic dinner before the opera! The food was delicious, appropriately sized, and well presented. The folks at Dolce Sicily were very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable about the food/wine. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Absolutely delicious food and wine and very good service. Will definitely be going back. Building is fantastic as well but only issues are the toilets are in the basement and the waiters area on the second floor was busy and quite noisy in the room we were in
A real treat. Beautiful food, great wine list and really friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Lovely food and great service. The gnocchi and the duck dishes were particularly good. Will definitely be back
Very nice place for a chill dinner with friends & family.
The food is really good and truly Italian (said from a picky Italian), I strongly recommend the millefoglie di melanzane.
The service is cordial and nice and the atmosphere cozy.
Great dining experience! Food was delicious! I went there for Valentine's day woth my fiance, when u would expect a busy environment, where everyone is running around you, Dolce Sicily was completely oposite! Quiet, romantic atmosphere where u can enjoy your dinner. Absolutely coming back and recommending to everyone! :-)
Beautiful restaurant, food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been better. Thank you, will definitely be back!
Overall it was a very good place and would recommend it. It was advertised as vegetarian/vegan friendly but there was no menu online and there was very little for me as a vegetarian on the menu. The staff were friendly and when I asked they offered to adjust one of the non-veggie mains to suit and it was very good. Still not the same as having a few actual veggie choices though.
We really enjoyed our trip to Dolce Sicily. The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The tiramisu is one of the best I’ve ever tasted!
Chef omitted ingredients from a couple of the dishes, leaving food very average and presentation like a home cooked meal. In general food tasted good, cannolo was a good desert choice. However restaurant lacked quality, professionalism and atmosphere. Staff were very nice and accommodating on all issues. While we were not cold, the lack of heat added to the lack of ambience of the restaurant.
Excellent food, friendly staff, the pistachio panacota was amazing! Will definitely come back!
Amazing food - really authentic Italian cuisine and great service
Loved this little restaurant - very quaint - nice atmosphere too. Staff and food excellent- will go back again
Lovely quirky interior and wonderfully friendly staff. The menu is concise but covers all options and the food was beautifully cooked and very tasty. I will definitely be back for more!
Late night booking at the last minute. Excellent restaurant. Attentive staff. Superb food. Pretty good value for money too. Would definitely return and recommend.
Came back to Altamira on a busy Friday night for their Butternut Squash Ravioli, my favourite main course I tried so far there.
Best Italian restaurant I've tried in Dublin, the risotto was cooked to perfection and cocktails were delicious. Loved the service and the atmosphere and will go back for sure when craving authentic Italian food.
Fantastic evening at Altamira. Friendly service and great cocktails. Loved the calamare and prawn risotto.
Monk fish was sensational! Real new place so menu is evolving but the service was great and friendly. I will definitely return.....
