About this restaurant

Don JosŽ Tequilas is a popular Providence mainstay famous for its incredible Mexican cuisine and diverse selection of tequilas, served in its welcoming and friendly eatery. For a delicious start to your meal, enjoy the queso fundido with chorizo and poblano peppers and the fresh made guacamole dip, both of which are too irresistible to pass up. Some of Don JosŽ Tequilas house specialties include the cochinita pibil slow-roasted pork cooked in plantain leaves and served in an Achiote sauce, the grilled skirt steak bistec a la Mexicana in a guajillo pepper sauce and the shrimp camarones a la tequila in tequila lime sauce. Don JosŽ Tequilas also has more typical Mexican fare, such as grilled shrimp-stuffed burrito de camarones topped with red sauce and melted cheese and the chicken enchiladas tapatias with goat cheese and pepper sauce. Be sure to inquire about an accompanying tequila beverage.
