After having dinner upstairs in Rose & Thorn, we went downstairs to sip rum in this speakeasy. We didn't eat there, but the menu had traditional Cuban dishes that we'll definitely try next time. We drank some tasty rum (straight & cocktails), chatted with our bartenders, and unexpectedly got to listen in on the Denver Ghost Tour as Double Barrel was one of their stops. We look forward to another visit for both the food and to try more of their range of traditional and aged rums.

Very tasty meals for all four in our party. Ginger ceviche was delightfully different than the Mexican ceviche. Ropa vieja is quite a page meal, savory, and the true surprise was the delicious rice and beans. Fried plantains were perfectly prepared. Cuban sandwich was quite good, and a great value. Excellent service from arrival to departure.
