This meal was..meh. They presented a special menu, and then told us they were out of flatbread when I ordered the hen of woods dish from it; it wasn't particularly busy but the two servers were struggling at times to keep up so meal pacing wasn't great, I asked for mayo and finally got it, when my fries were almost gone. I also requested a second drink and never received it. My French dip was well done when I had requested medium and the accompamyimg beef broth wasn't great in terms of body and flavor. Nothing to write home about given the prices.

Four of us had a great meal before a concert and the staff asked whether we were going so they could make sure we had plenty of time. The atmosphere was lively, but never too loud to be intrusive. The menu was inventive and we each enjoyed our choice. It was a relief to find a restaurant of this caliber that was affordable. I highly recommend!

We came for date night with high expectations and left disappointed. I ordered the steak frites, $44 for a 6 oz steak, and it was bland. Our server was genuinely great: when I mentioned it, she brought sauce on the side. Unfortunately it took about 10 minutes to arrive, and by then I eat most of the steak.The burger was fine but nothing special. The atmosphere didn't help. There was no music, and the room was so quiet you could hear every nearby conversation. We were also seated in a high-traffic spot with people constantly walking past. Our server was the highlight, but for these prices, the food and experience should be much better. We won't be returning.

Very relaxed atmosphere and a good vibe. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The waitstaff was very friendly and checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was outstanding. The service was amazing, especially given it was meant to be a quiet long weekend Saturday night, yet the restaurant was packed. Our server explained the situation that it was busy, with few staff and could we be patient. Yet the food arrived timely, at least the starters and drinks. Entree's were gobbled up and shared by our party. Instead of dessert, we got to watch that evening fireworks over the Hudson as part of Albany Jazz fest.

Cute little place located in a hotel. Servers were friendly. Meal started off strong, the French Onion soup and soup the day (tomato) were both delicious. In fact, the French Onion was outstanding. Salad with shrimp added was great for an entree for my wife. However, the French Dip sandwich was a disaster. One of the worst I have ever seen or tasted. So bad my wife thought I should send it back. Fries were pretty bad as well, which for a bistro is a real problem. Would only go back for the soup...

We love DP's. The food is outstanding from the chicken dishes to the salmon to the Indonesian noodles. We were a bit disappointed by the service, for the first time ever. Either not staffed appropriately or not trained well, service was disjointed and not up to the usual DP level. We'll come back and hope that our next experience will be a 5, rather than the 4 rating this time.

Although the servers were very kind, they seemed to be overwhelmed with guests since it was a show night at the Palace Theater. My steak tasted good but was cooked to the wrong temperature and we weren't provided anything to eat (bread, crackers, etc) while waiting for our food to come out. Then, when we wanted a second drink with our dinner, the drinks weren't served until after we had finished eating the entrees. Furthermore, we were handed a specials menu with a date on it from three days prior AND the beverage menu had "Winter" printed on it and we came in July. Those little details matter. It seems that management should have been better prepared.
