Eastside Bar & Grill pays homage to the upmarket dining experiences of New York, nestled within a heritage listed warehouse, evoking the atmosphere of New York’s famed meatpacking district.

At Eastside you'll find incredible seafood and the finest cuts of meat that have been dry-aged in-house and prepared on the beautiful custom-built Parrilla wood-fire grill by Head Chef Sebastian Plazas and team.

Dark, sexy and theatrical, the restaurant features a leather paneled bar with bronze back bar display. A custom brass light fixture, a runway of herringbone flooring and an assortment of steel and leather chairs, marrying the existing raw structure of this 100-year-old building.

    It was my very first time to try their Butcher's Banquet. The place was exquisite. The feel and the vibe was very comforting yet mysterious (to which I love!). As to where I was seated, I had a very good of the place. The food was superb and very flavorful. My only issue was that I did not get enough of it (30% of what I was expecting) since I eat quote heartily. There were only 2 waitresses serving the dinner (speed in serving not very impressive) so the amount and serving I receive is only minimum and by the time more is offered, my tummy has already declared itself full. So I never truly enjoyed it even if it tastes so good. I requested for a double serving of the prawns but the waitress coldly said "I will come back to you once I have served everyone" and it took a while for her to come back for more serves so again, I never really got the fullness I was expecting at the rate I was paying for. Mind you, I am no stranger to unlimited food deals since it is a gastronomic experience for me. Value wise, I didn't really achieve it. The taste was really good though. Really really good. I'll give you that. But to go back, I do not think so. Though it was an experience. When it was time for me to get the bill, I asked the same cold waitress and it was only at the time she smiled and said "I will get for you!" Though she never came back. After some time, I walked my way to the entrance and talked to the maître d' to ask for my bill. He asked me how it was and I just said "it was fine" I couldn't really complain at the time since I simply gave up and left. So like I said, it was an experience. But one that I do not think I will go back to.

    ★☆☆☆☆ An advertised discount that disappeared when the bill arrived, topped off with rude service. An appalling experience. We booked for 5pm under an advertised 50% discount, then got charged full price because we ordered the set menu. If that excludes us from the offer, make it clear BEFORE we order. Leaving customers to discover it when they’re handed the bill is disgraceful and left us feeling completely misled. The attitude from the male staff made an already unpleasant situation worse. The bald staff member in particular was rude and dismissive, with a level of arrogance that was completely unwarranted. Basic courtesy shouldn’t be too much to ask from someone working in hospitality. Whatever the conditions of the promotion, there is no excuse for treating paying customers with that sort of contempt. We left feeling ripped off and thoroughly unwelcome. They got their full bill, but lost any chance of our returning. Would absolutely not recommend.

    The service was attentive and food very nice. We had half a dozen oysters for starter and the Angus T-bone 1Kg for main. The oysters were fresh and crispy. The T-bone was delicious, juicy and tender. Highly recommend.

    The welcoming was pleasant and the food was above average and plentiful, very good value for money, the restaurant has a nice ambience and the cocktails were very good, the service level was pretty standard to basic, nothing exceptional. We had dinner for a 21st and the steak buffet seemed a good option as the man wanted meat (lol) , I cant recall if they even wished him a happy birthday and they mentioined this dinner is for a 21st ?, then when the bill came there was a 10% tip automatically added, i asked about this and they said it was on the booking form and was optional, wasnt optional as was already on the bill, the staff then removed ,
