Ecco use to be one of our favorite spots but the last few visits have been very average. I realize it’s hard to stay exciting and relevant over years but perhaps menu needs update. Goat cheese fritters still one of our favorites though.

Our first time at Ecco. Ambiance was really nice and the music/noise level was great for conversation. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was really good with one small exception. One of the pieces of pork tenderloin was chewy and fatty. The rest of it was very nice. The restaurant is a bit pricey for regular visits.

Maybe not my cup of tea but the food was as pretty meh. The waitress Mary on the other hand was perfection. Id just recommend not ordering the steaks as they were bitter little boys and all the gristle.

Excellent overall experience! The ambiance was very great and the customer service was great (except that our server was a little overwhelmed from many customers he had to wait on). However, from the lady at the reception, to the waiters, and manager, we appreciated their great service. The food was very delicious too! Especially their couscous with Lamb chops. My boyfriend's grilled fish was burnt, which we were a little disappointed about, but the manager stepped in right away and they made him another dish. Overall experience was great and we will definitely go back.

I had their Market Fish which was Red Fish the night i was there. It was very delicious. My dining partner had the pork tenderloin which she said was wonderful, albeit with a little bit of fat she had to cut around. The wilted greens we both had were great. A lovely place to dine.

I usually go to Ecco in Midtown, or on the International concourse at the airport, but this new location was really fun and my clients were impressed, so good job! We loved the valet text rather than a ticket. Leading the charge in utilizing the latest tech tools.

Wow what a wonderful dinner! We’ve driven by so many times but never been in-what a gem this place is! We got lots of appetizers to share, and we couldn’t decide on a favorite. Shared the pasta with ricotta, squash blossoms, preserved lemon, and zucchini-woah! It was so good. And top that off with homemade ice cream with a drizzle of olive oil-who knew! We will be back many times!!

Sounds like they had some back and forth from the management/kitchen/servers. Food was good, servers were kind and communicated well but had multiple interactions between manager, server, bar tender that the staff was not working together well. Hope it can be addressed, i typically enjoy the restaurant.

Service was very slow even though the restaurant was pretty empty. It took about 30 minutes just to get our drinks. Appetizers were good but the pork entree was less than average. Definitely less ambience than midtown. I won’t be back

This is my fourth visit to Ecco. The pistachio gelato was very good for dessert with the chocolate tart. I had a salad with beets and the honey goat cheese balls were good. I’d skip the main fish and would not recommend the dish at all. The service made up for the just ok dish.

Food and service are wonderful! It's pricey and that's okay for a date night or special occasion... it lives up to the cost. Only "ding" would be I would have liked more intimate dining areas, very open seating which can get loud.

The food was excellent, drinks were excellent, and recommendations from the server were wonderful. Our server was Christian? Maybe Christina. Very kind and attentive, and made the experience great. The steak was bomb. Espresso martini was also bomb.

My boyfriend took me to Ecco for my birthday. It was our first visit. The food and ambience were divine! The fried goat cheese was one of the greatest things I’ve ever eaten in my life! There were just a few minor instances that we don’t expect to have happen at a fine dining restaurant, especially on a rainy Monday night when there were only three or four tables sat in the restaurant, including ours. When we arrived, we pulled up to the door to valet, but there was no valet in sight. I ran in to see if the restaurant was doing valet service that day, and the valet was inside on his phone with his back turned. He never saw our car or even realized I came inside until I got his attention. Once that was squared around, we were greeted by the hostess, who was fantastic! She was friendly, professional, and very helpful to the servers throughout the night. Our server, Mary, was also great! She was descriptive and made excellent suggestions. She had a bubbly personality and we had a lot of fun with her! Very minor, but we ordered a bottle of Fiji water, and nobody offered or took it upon themselves to refill our glasses. Of course we’re perfectly capable of doing it ourselves, but as I said, the expectations are higher with fine dining. We were then finished with our appetizers before we had the chance to order our entrees. After placing the entree order, our table was left covered in empty appetizer plates. We sat that way for about ten minutes before the host came and took care of it. Lastly, it was a birthday celebration, and that was only addressed once at the very beginning. We did order dessert and it came out as normal. It wasn’t a big deal, but it’s always nice to have those celebrations aknowledged throughout the experience. With all that said, those are very simple fixes. All in all, we very much enjoyed ourselves, and we’re looking forward to returning!

Delicious pasta and the goat cheese balls dipped in honey are a must…tastes like savory ice cream:). Wish they offered a Chardonnay that’s less than $17 a glass. Definitely will go back - beautiful restaurant and bar.

I went to Ecco for the first time with my family. Though the ambiance and service were good, the food was rather disappointing. I won't be returning. Overall, the dishes were way too oily. The focaccia appetizer my niece ordered was soaked in oil. I eat a vegan diet so I ordered the beets and greens as well as the crispy potatoes. The beets were swimming in oil and there were not many greens in the dish. The crispy potatoes were fried disks. My husband enjoyed his pasta and my sister enjoyed her flatbread. Not every dish ordered was a disappointment. It was just not for me.

Been a while since we dined here. The restaurant was busy but not overly so. Our wait for food was unacceptable. Management gave us a 20% discount on our check without our saying anything so they were obviously aware of the problem.

Our Server, Mitchell, was lovely and gave great wine reccomendations. The goat cheese was as good as I remembered. The bluefin crab pasta was stellar as well. The crudo appetizer and toasted foccacia were also delicious. We arrived early and it was quieter before more diners came and it just got a little louder than preferable but overall a wonderful dining experience. Great place to celebrate any milestone.
