An Atlanta native, he built strong bonds in the kitchen growing up: Learning from his father & grandfather and feeding his little brother taught Alan the reward in cooking for others, kicking off his culinary career as a dishwasher at 15. My husband and I come to Ecco every year for our Christmas Eve Eve date night dinner to celebrate together before the holidays hit with our families. This year we had COVID so had to cancel and finally were able to reschedule. Our experience was awesome per usual, and food was exceptional! Christina our server took excellent care of us and made great recommendations!

Nice variety of appetizers to share, beautiful presentation. Had the fresh pappardelle pasta with braised pork which was delicious. Bee sting cake and olive oil gelato a must!

Always look forward to a wonderful meal at Ecco. Hard to stray from the goat cheese balls and papardelle with braised short ribs. Flat breads are also fantastic.

I wish I could rate Ecco higher. I asked for a quiet intimate table and the location was perfect. The attention given by all the staff was exceptional, with a special shout-out to our waitress Yessenia.

Harold was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and he was able to make strong recommendations and give direction without being pushy. The drink Brandon made my girlfriend was perfection. The food was delicious, every step of the way.

This is my favorite midtown haunt. What a gem it remains. Best food, drinks and definitely service in midtown. Still love it every time.
It was my husbands birthday and our kids had given us a night at the Georgian terrace for Christmas. It is where we had our wedding reception almost 28 years ago. We love Ecco and it seemed like the perfect pairing to celebrate at.
The cocktails, fries and the goat cheeses balls are consistently superior and the reason we return as much as possible over the nearly 20 years. The entrees are $10 overpriced and uninspiring.

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. We had a pleasant experience. Our server, Harold, was very enthusiastic about drink and menu options and helped us choose excellent vegetarian options. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, which made our evening enjoyable.

We had a wonderful New Years Eve dinner at Ecco Midtown! Everyone took such good care of us and made our dining out experience fantastic. Can’t wait to come back for more!
The fried goat cheese and Brussels sprouts were amazing, as was the pappardelle. Our server was very attentive. Also enjoyed the Rose wine which was quite good. Swordfish was okay but the rest of the meal made up for it. Would go again!

We found this place almost 10 years ago and visit every couple of years. The food is as good as usual. You have to get the goat cheese balls, they are awesome. The cocktails were good as well and service was very good.
Great atmosphere and good food. I do understand servers adding on to the meal but “up- selling” was unnatural during this experience.
Harold and everyone were fantastic. You made our evening very special, and it will be a dinner we remember for a long time. The service and food were excellent.

At our 16 year old’s request, we had her birthday party dinner here. Our waiter, Harold, was *amazing*. Food was great, though I do wish they had more seafood selections. Highly recommend this place.

Dinner entree was extremely extremely small portion. The appetizers were tasty and the flatbread we ordered was good. Our waiter was excellent.

The food was exceptional! Highly recommend the mussels - the broth was the best I’ve ever had. Sea bass was cooked to perfection. Very attentive waitstaff all around. Would recommend to anyone!

Loved the menu. The La vie en Rose drink was delicious- one of my favorite Mezcal drinks. All the food was delicious. Try the focaccia! The swordfish was prepared perfectly. One of my new favorite spots near Georgia Tech.

Great service, great food, great experience. We had a server who immediately asked us if we were going to a show (we were) and prompted us to order ASAP so he was able to put in our order before the rush and get us out of there in record time. Appreciated that courtesy!
I was looking for vegan/vegetarian options and the menu was limited. When I asked the waiter about what was good for these types of choices, he didn’t seem to have any guidance.
The food was amazing ! I made sure to try everyone’s food at the table. I got the braised pork pasta. I tasted the crispy duck and braised lamb shoulder with potato gnocchi. WOW!! the portions were perfect, not too much food and not too little food… it was just enough. By the end of dinner I made a comment that I would come to this restaurant biweekly to try everything on the menu. The ambiance was also very nice and inviting! I love this place.
