Wonderful ambiance and decor. Loved the musical trio in the bar. The dining experience was outstanding. Lobster Bisque, Scallops and side plates were fabulous. We will be back soon!
It was a very nice night. Perfect for date night without the kids
Great food and service as usual!
Everything was amazing
Great service, great food, and our waiter Phil, was top notch.
Eddie V has become my go to place for great food whenever I wanna have seafood or a nice dinner with special friends and family
Tim was an excellent waiter. Super knowledgeable! He made our dining experience wonderful!
The experience was great as always.. This will always be my number 1, New Years Eve Dining Restaurant !!!
New Year’s Eve...reservation was for 9; was seated at 9:35. Did not get into the V lounge like the reservation said when I booked it but otherwise ok. Service was great, food was great...received party hats and champagne for midnight.
Food was all excellent. Service was not to bad seeing that it was New Year’s Eve and the entire restaurant was packed! Waiter did not bring me a fork or a steak knife when my filet arrived, I asked two bus boys both of which never brought me silverware either. Took about 15 minutes to get silverware but other then that things were ok other then it being slow because it was so busy which is to be expected. Will return we all enjoyed our meals!
Our server Ashley was amazing! Food was great as well.
The food was amazing. Our waiter was outstanding!!! Very attentive!!! Fantastic experience!!!
Waited long past our reservation time to be seated...hostesses seemed incompetent. Once seated 3 different waiters came at the start explaining the menu. Finally ordered for 4 of us and everyone’s appetisers came except mine...waitress came when they were clearing the dishes and said oh yes I noticed that...I’ll bring it right out. Bus boys just sort of put the plates on the table wherever they felt like it. Kids menu fruit plate had bruised mouldy strawberry...they offered us some more fruit and the waitress kindly removed the whole kids meal from the bill.
We went there because my daughter loves lobster and has eaten it and loved it at every restaurant we have been to except here unfortunately. I had the sea bass which was delicious. My husband had been to Eddie Vs in Chicago which was heads and tails above this one. I don’t usually write reviews but when you’re spending a lot on a not so great experience people should know. Go to Joe Muers instead.
Great service. Sole is fabulous. Quality of beef is excellent. A bit pricey.
The service was terrible, the noise level was too loud. The waitress didn't know the price of the specials; she gave us a ballpark which ended up being very low to the actual price once we saw the bill. The food was ok. The worst was my friend's credit card used to pay her bill was returned to someone else. The person who has her credit card went to town charging thousands of dollars in multiple states. How careless of the restaurant staff to not pay attention (and it wasn't that busy) and what kind of clientele actually comes to this restaurant!! My friend called the restaurant manager who offered her NOTHING for this terrible inconvenience just that they will investigate. I'm applaud at the restaurant and their clientele. Won't go back and will be sure to tell everyone I know about this. They are not worth visiting.
I LOVE EDDIE V’S!!!! The food. The ambiance. The service. ALL PHENOMENAL!!
The food at Eddie V's is also top notch. Our server, Courtney C was fantastic.
Trevor was a great waiter—attentive without being bothersome. He made excellent recommendations and made sure everything was going well. The food was excellent and was presented nicely. When we arrived, we were the only ones in the dining room. By the time we left, the room was almost full with other patrons. The noise level went up considerably but not to the point where you could not hear the others at the table. This was my first time and it will not be my last. I was very pleased with the experience.
We sat down 50 min later than our reservation, which is unacceptable and which we let the restaurant know. They provided a few free appetizers which were appreciated as a gesture. Still, a very tough experience especially with seniors and children in our group (and what seemed like multiple other parties our size getting seated before us).
Everything was very good.
Holiday dinner
Our server Chelsea was amazing! Our food was great as well!
Great food and the service is amazing. Nice atmosphere with live music
I made a reservation for 5 people 2 days after Thanksgiving for Dec 21st at 7:30 arrived there and checked in at 7:15 were told they will have our table when their other guests get up. Okay 7:45 I check in again same answer. In the mean time they seat parties of 6 most that came after us were already seated. We were still waiting at 8:15 and then they seat us in the booth even though I requested a table. I said something to the girl who was seating us and her reply was, well go talk to the manager. The front desk manager comes and says well we can move you to a table if you want . How is it that now suddenly they had a table? But she sat 6 people at table but could or pull a chair and put 5 there. Mismanagement or ?
I felt that we were given the short end because we were not older people dressed in sparkly clothes, we had my teenage nieces and nephew with us so making us wait was ok.
I have eaten at fine restaurants before but this was not a fine experience.
The food and service are wonderful. Chelsea was the server and we loved her! The dining rooms are entirely too dark. I like to see what I am eating
We had an amazing dinner and Kurt was amazing!😁
This place was completely overwhelmed. Had to wait 30 min to get seated - even after we pointed out vacant tables. Steak temperature was totally wrong - we sent it back and shared one entree.
Our servers were great but they couldn’t overcome the Maitre D and the Kitchen chaos.
Good food and service
After hearing mostly good reviews i decided to try it. I've eaten at Capital Grille, Morton, Ruth Chris and Ocean Prime dozens of times and thought this place would rival them. Unfortunately it doesn't come close. It's an attractive place with a nice ambience unfortunately in my experience tonight the food and service does not hold up. I ordered a very simple shrimp cocktail when it came the shrimp was so chewy it seemed to be days old. They brought me another one, same issue. The manager did apologize. I ordered for my main meal the 18 Oz bone-in strip with a South African lobster tail which totalled almost $100. I have no issue with the price however the steak although tender and somewhat flavorful black real steak flavour and had next to no seasoning on it at all, it may be had a very tiny pinch of pepper. It certainly does not compare to the other high-end steak houses in the area. The lobster tail was okay but the butter was barely warm. Our server was not very attentive and didn't come around too often which is surprising because it wasn't super busy. So I did not say anything about the meal at that point. I do not plan on returning as with such good restaurants in the area you can certainly do better in this price range.
Very good meal, but you must be a fish/seafood lover! One in our party does not eat seafood and she had a hard time choosing, because Lipitor else is available. Ambiance is fine, much like many new generic restaurant. Food and service were good, but not sure it’s worth the price.
Always a pleasure going here. Good food drinks, and friends.
Excellent Food & Service !
Overall food quality was good except for cocktail shrimp.
Excellent wine collection
Fantastic but a very hefty price, great for special occasions
Everything was wonderful my only problem was they won’t seat you until your whole party is there and I had reservations and when my party got there my table still wasn’t ready. But the food was wonderful and my waiter was great.
Always a great way to celebrate !
We had a great meal but the noise level was really bad
Very disappointing experience with the wine. May never come back - tried calling but nobody answers. Manager was extremely rude and insulted me in front of clients. It’s a shame but too many other choices in the area.
Met my girl friend to catch up and have dinner. We enjoy sitting at the bar. The bartenders always take good care of us. We shared the crab cake, sea bass and lobster friend rice. All were delicious and the martinis were too!
My 10th visit in 2 years; I had better. The young lady refilling the water was excellent. At $420.00 with tip for three people having 3 cocktails or wine in total it was okay.
