   We loved everything about it, but our server was awful. Either she was having a bad day or brand new not sure. The other servers that we saw around us were awesome. I think we just got the short stick when it comes to servers.

   El Chorro was everything we hoped it would be and more! The ambience, the service, and the attention to detail were so amazing. I had the filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection. And the added treat of the sticky buns and the special chocolate cake for our wedding anniversary just made it a most memorable evening! Thank you to all of the staff!

   El Chorro was recommended to us as we were visiting Paradise Valley for the weekend. We arrived early for our reservation so we decided to get a drink at the bar. The bartender that served us was brash and a little unpleasant, which made us question if we’d made the right decision to dine at El Chorro. If we hadn’t witnessed the bartender’s curt behavior towards other guests, we might have taken his actions personally. Thankfully, our waitress was fabulous, and the food made us forget all about the rude bartender. We sat outside in the most beautifully lit patio. We had the Fried Lobster as an appetizer, it was fantastic! Our entrees were also perfect! We left really full and would definitely make a return visit. I highly recommend to any couples or families looking for a lovely night out in Paradise Valley.

    Lovely setting, appreciated the extra fans to alleviate some of the heat. Service was very attentive. Only complaint from our brunch was one meal was below standard. My partner ordered an Eggs Benedict dish and both eggs were poached hard, which was very disappointing. My partner refused to send it back though because the flavor was still good. Hopefully just an off day and we will still return.

    The tables were to close together I could hear conversations from other tables was very cramped. Our table kept rocking and the waiter tried to fix it but couldn’t. I was there to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and it was not a pleasant experience. I do not believe I will ever comeback again.

    Vicki was attentative and friendly. Fried chicken Caesar salad and house salad all good. Fried lobster did not wow us. Beans and quinoa very salty. Sticky buns very odd served with salads...more like a desert.

    Wonderful ambiance, beatutiful surroundings and we sat on the patio. Our food was excellent; we had sea bass, oscar filet mignon, shortribs, house salad, caesar salad and two bottles of wine. Server was polite but, rushing us a little too much so it wasn't quite the relaxing evening we were hoping for. The server did comp us a dessert as we were celebrating a birthday which was a nice touch. The sticky buns were to die for! We will definitely go again.

    This place is tops. Best location, service, food. They're tucked into this little Eden of a spot, just at the base of Camelback Mountain. It's got great views. A Secret Garden vibe. Plus, they have misters going. The food was fabulous, the service was dedicated and authentic, and the cost was unbelievably reasonable for the level of elegance. I can't recommend it highly enough.

    Went for brunch. Excellent bread rolls especially the sticky buns which they should sell to guests. Lol. Loved the trout amandine and the shrimp cocktail. The ribeye omelet was good but the english muffins that came with it were scorched and awful. I am surprised it was so difficult to get a reservation for brunch. We had to wait 2 weeks!!

    We had a birthday luncheon for a friend who was celebrating her 81st birthday. We had brunch on the patio. It was very delightful; we were in the shade and misters where nearby but did not interfere with our lunch. Our server Ty was very attentive and made sure the day was memorable for our birthday girl.

    Perfect setting for a relaxing birthday dinner. Ambience is on point with the lighting and fireplaces. The service was good. Nothing to write home about, but acceptable. Food was delicious, but we all decided it could have been warmer. Food came out quickly, so we thought some of it may have been sitting under a heat lamp, especially the shrimp appetizer. I had the house salad with grilled chicken. They were both delicious, especially the large portion of chicken, It was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Cadillac margarita was fair, but the espresso martinis were delicious. I was treated with a small birthday dessert. We all took one bite and compared it to a dry ding dong. It was a nice touch, but not too tasty. We also had to wait a while for our check and finally track down our server to pay. Despite the minor downsides, I would definitely go back to El Chorro.

    the shrimp are over priced for the size. Wife steak was good but my short ribs were fantastic. Great service from Kayla.

    Have eaten there many times in the past, but was disappointed in the menu wasnt much of a selection as have had in the past.
