This ancient listed building pre-dates the Great Fire of 1666 and is the oldest wine house in the City. Its origins were as a Merchants house and it is believed that smugglers used the old tunnel to the river from the cellars. Friends birthday - first time here for both of us. A lovely hidden gem with good quality tapas and service, surrounded by Mad-Men style furniture with an atrium in the middle. Good for conversations and not so loud. The wine selection is vast so you could spend an entire afternoon evening sipping the delights!

Very nice little bar, great downstairs area. Tapas was pleasant and the wine was good. I would've liked to spend a bit longer there then just lunch!

Tucked away off the embankment, El Vino Olde Wine Shade is a cosy Wine Bar that serves Tapas. Great for a casual get together. The wine selection was great and could be paired with a selection of Tapas from the menu. The Tapas was a nice selection of easy to share food. I would recommend for a casual night out or drinks

Not bad, but small potions of tapas. It used to serve meals. Wine selection great other than the didn't have gavi de gavi which might have been an obvious wine to stock
