   Three out of four of us had burgers. They were delicious and great value. The 4th person had chicken wings - probably the best wings ever! We had 2 desserts which were very good - icecream and Affogato.

   Lovely Mother’s Day meal, 4 kids and 4 adults, menu catered for all. Food was great, rosé Prosecco for the mums on arrival was a lovely touch. Ambiance and decor great too, really enjoyed and would definitely return

   Come to elephant and castle everytime I’m in galway and it never misses! Staff are amazing and food is next to none! Cant rate it highly enough!

   Poor service. Ordered a bottle of wine from the waitress and she forgot it. Then ordered it again and she started talking to the table beside us shooting the breeze for about 5 minutes. Forgot the wine again. Then brought a glass which I kept. Then forgot the bottle again..🫣🫣

   We went in at 5pm and the restaurant was really quiet. The furnishings were quite nice (very much inspired by the Ivy) but the food was disappointing. It was basic fast food. The menu was short so choices were limited. The desserts sounded very unappealing, so we didn’t order any. We won’t be back.

    Great friendly and efficient service. We shared the hummus starter with toasted bread and olives - delicious. Vegetarian halloumi and veg ciabatta sandwich and lemon and pea risotto were really good, we both enjoyed them immensely. Both were hot and fresh. Would really recommend for casual dining in Galway.

    Noted on booking that was Sarah’s birthday but no acknowledgement at all by staff. Took a while to get servers attention for bill. Food was lovely. Drinks lovely. Looked like management Staff on computers and phones at next booth - thought it was a bit unprofessional!

We do not have offices in the hotel so our team do any admin work they need to do front of house. Our Restaurant Sales Manager also works from Elephant and Castle taking bookings over the phone.

    My friends and I all ordered different types of burgers and they were all burnt and over cooked no juice whatsoever ever in the burgers. It was like a char burnt burger you would get at a BBQ definitely won’t be going back again.

    Food is unreal, reasonably priced for the size of the portions. Cocktails like a work of art when they come out! Definitely fine dining! The chicken wings are amazing!

    The restaurant is lovely but although advertised as child friendly it was not. The staff were more interested in chatting between themselves tgan taking an order. When asked if we could get a slight variation on the menu we got a point blank no. We were finished by the time we were asked if we needed anything or if it was OK.

    Love Elephant and Castle, usually went to Temple Bar for the wings ,and was delighted yo hear they were in Galway. I have visited twice, once during summer and last night. Lovely Staff and beautiful Place, Wings unreal as usual. We also got the dirty chicken and it was lovely. Burgers look Savage also. Dean Hotel look class, and would love to stay there for a weekend. Top Class Staff,Food and Place. 👍.Looking Forward to the next visit already.🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍔🍔🍷

    The service is excellent, friendly and efficient. The food is below par. And expectations were low as we've been there a couple of times, due to it being an easy place to meet, location ambience etc. But seriously, something has to be done about the food! The very nice server acted surprised and said nobody had ever complained before! But two other servers who were bringing drings did not seem surprised.

    Booking was easy online, time slots were displayed and took the one that suited best. We have eaten many times in elephant & castle in Dublin and have based trips around dining there, however Galway is head and shoulders above. It was lunchtime and we were seated on arrival in a booth. Drinks order taken and water for the table provided, great selection at the bar. Food arrived together which was great as no one was watching others eat. Must have chicken wings, burger, poached eggs and kids pasta, all fresh, full of flavour and generous portions. Meal was delicious, staff were efficient, polite and top notch. Decor and ambiance were fantastic and comfortable. We will definitely be back when in Galway again.

    I went with my husband and 3 kids 14, 12 & 6. We had a lovely meal staff were very nice and attentive. Did feel once meal was over they wanted us to move on but other than that service and food was delicious. Very nice place very enjoyable family evening was had!

    Excellent staff, food was delicious, starters were huge ! One starter is more than enough for two people ! Salmon was cooked perfect and the steak was cooked to order ! We hadn’t desert as we were stuffed, portion sizes are massive, cocktails were very good and had a great selection of drinks to choose from. Couldn’t fault it, decor was modern and funky. A lovely lovely atmosphere 10/10

    They didn’t come down to take desert orders so we just left and we were literally the only people in there eating with an abundance of servers The burger Mexican one we had was not great quality meat tasted waxy and not great - my husbands one was not hot enough but the chicken wings were lovely Lovely atmosphere and lots of money spent there but not even a thank you leaving - service needs some work from management

    Steak was very overpriced. Absolutely not worth ~40 euros for a gristley sirloin. Tomato was meant to be stuffed as per the menu but was just a plain grilled tomato. Hot fudge sundae was served ice cold. We did get two glasses of bubbles on arrival as requested which was a lovely touch.

    The spicey chicken wings were good and a generous portion too. They are a great starter for two to share. The Elephant burger was OK. Staff are very nice and helpful. A nice meal after a trip to the the Christmas Market!
