   I was in the restaurant last night for friends 30th the staff went above and beyond with their personality and their service. We had a fantastic night and definitely will be back.

   Came here again for our Son's graduation and stayed for the wings! Lovely food as always and the staff are very friendly and always checking to see we've enough of everything. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. We were there for three hours and at no stage felt we were being rushed out the door (as with other places sometimes). Would definitely recommend.

   Got chicken wings and did not receive a bowl to wash fingers as I usually do. Waiter was not attentive to our table. Got the chocolate mouse and it was so small not worth the money.

    It was a such an amazing experience and a great night in. The staff were unbelievable, always checked up if we needed anything. Rylan even sang a happy birthday at our table and was very pleasant and nice to us through out the whole night . The food was amazing and massive portions as well as the cocktails were unbelievable. Highly recommend this place for a dinner night or even just dinner

    Had high hopes after visiting Sophies earlier in the week, but was really disappointed with Elephant and Castle. Staff were friendly but not very observant. Waited a long time for our starter dishes to be cleared even though it was very quiet and plenty of staff walking around. Starters were very good of Chicken Wings and Soup, but the mains was not great. Two of us had beef burgers which were bland and very dry and looked to be almost burnt. One had a chicken fillet burger which was drowned in a white sauce and very greasy. The fries were already salted which was disappointing as I don't use salt and wasn't expecting them to be pre salted. I would be reluctant to go back and eat here again.

    Did not live up to our expectations. Restaurant looked lovely but the food and drinks were standard at best. We didn’t eat our starter but the mains were slightly better. Has potential but won’t be back unfortunately.

    The cocktails were lovely and the share nachos were very nice, would recommend them both, however the mains were very disappointing, we both ordered two types of burgers both lacked presentation and not great over all. Service was good but felt very rushed and tried clearing the table before we were finished.

    Poor food. We had high expectations and got really disappointed,we ordered burgers and the presentation and quality was so low. Ambient is cool but food not at all. Defo would not recommend.

The burger dishes do state on the menu exactly what sauces/ toppings come with each one and not all of them include sauces. Any sauces can of course be added on request. Where chips are included as part of the dish, they are served on the plate and not in a separate bowl. We apologise that the burger was overcooked, we would have made a fresh one for you had this of been mentioned during your visit.

    Three out of four of us had burgers. They were delicious and great value. The 4th person had chicken wings - probably the best wings ever! We had 2 desserts which were very good - icecream and Affogato.

    Lovely Mother’s Day meal, 4 kids and 4 adults, menu catered for all. Food was great, rosé Prosecco for the mums on arrival was a lovely touch. Ambiance and decor great too, really enjoyed and would definitely return

    Come to elephant and castle everytime I’m in galway and it never misses! Staff are amazing and food is next to none! Cant rate it highly enough!

    Poor service. Ordered a bottle of wine from the waitress and she forgot it. Then ordered it again and she started talking to the table beside us shooting the breeze for about 5 minutes. Forgot the wine again. Then brought a glass which I kept. Then forgot the bottle again..🫣🫣

    We went in at 5pm and the restaurant was really quiet. The furnishings were quite nice (very much inspired by the Ivy) but the food was disappointing. It was basic fast food. The menu was short so choices were limited. The desserts sounded very unappealing, so we didn’t order any. We won’t be back.

    Great friendly and efficient service. We shared the hummus starter with toasted bread and olives - delicious. Vegetarian halloumi and veg ciabatta sandwich and lemon and pea risotto were really good, we both enjoyed them immensely. Both were hot and fresh. Would really recommend for casual dining in Galway.

    Noted on booking that was Sarah’s birthday but no acknowledgement at all by staff. Took a while to get servers attention for bill. Food was lovely. Drinks lovely. Looked like management Staff on computers and phones at next booth - thought it was a bit unprofessional!

    My friends and I all ordered different types of burgers and they were all burnt and over cooked no juice whatsoever ever in the burgers. It was like a char burnt burger you would get at a BBQ definitely won’t be going back again.
