    Terrace seating was offered as a suitable place to dine in the middle of December. Booked assuming that it would be comfortable and warm as it was being offered for a place to eat. We were put sitting outside in the freezing cold. The terrace was completely exposed and in no way suitable for a place to dine in comfort on a sat evening in December. We could see our breath it was that bad. We asked was there a seat anywhere inside and told no they were fully booked. My complaint would be that the terrace should not be offered as a place to dine in the middle of winter. It is a smoking area and that's it. I raised this with staff and it was met with shrugged shoulders. On a positive the food was nice and atmosphere inside seemed lively but we were left out in the cold. Literally.

    Service is simply below par, waiting waiting waiting, taken to table and forgotten about for 20 mins. There for over 2 hours and still had to cancel drinks ordered. The food is decent, however massively overpriced. Don't go!

    The Seafood Tagliatelle was below average. Chicken wings stood out in terms of taste and quantity. Thankyou for the service and the nice ambience

    We arrived 30 mins early and staff were more than happy to accommodate us. Service was very good and staff very friendly. Food is good but a little on the expensive side. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant.

    I recently dined at your establishment and wanted to provide feedback on my experience. While my stay at the hotel was perfect, the dining experience left much to be desired. Starter: The Dirty Chicken starter was lovely and well-prepared. It was the highlight of the meal. Mains: Unfortunately, both the seafood Tagliatelle with clams and mussels and the Fish & Chips were disappointing. The seafood lacked flavor in the pasta dish, and the fish lacked its expected flavor in the Fish & Chips. Wine Selection: I was also disappointed with the wine selection. Your wine list indicated that wines were available by the glass and by the bottle. However, I was informed that I could only order wine by the bottle, contrary to what was stated on the menu. This inconsistency in the advertised options was frustrating and led to a less enjoyable dining experience. Overall, I had higher expectations based on previous positive experiences at your Dublin E&C location. I hope you can address these issues to ensure that future guests have a more satisfying dining experience, just as I have come to expect from your hotel chain. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Food was decent service was good but the delivery of the meal took a very long time and given the restaurant was half empty something must have gone wrong in the management of our order.

    Booked a table in advance. Server refused to seat us at a booth because we were a party of 3 and these were reserved for parties of 4. We were shown to a table in front of the door to the terrace. Every time the door was opened, which was quite regular, the napkins were blown off the table with the wind. Ended up having to move outside to the terrace altogether. Not ideal but was better than in the doorway. Such a pity as food was very good.

    We ate on the terrace. It was a Graduation dinner for our son. The age range at the table was from 12 to 76 and all of us loved the food. The chicken wings alone are worth going for. Service was friendly and welcoming. We had blankets if we needed them and heaters overhead but we were never cold. We were waiting a little bit longer than we should have for our main course. In fairness the staff apologised profusely and all meals hit the table at the same time. I wouldn’t hold it against them as the ambience was lovely and we were all quite comfortable. We will definitely eat there again

    Booked a table for my daughters graduation. We ordered the sharing platter of dirty chicken tortillas to share for 16/17 euro was disappointing tortillas with few bits of chicken and little sauce . Main courses we all ended up having burgers and fish n chips also was disappointing, my burger had frozen sauce at bottom. Anyway sorry wud nt book again or recommend.

    Usually go to Sophie's upstairs, this was our first time here. The menu is so much better. The staff on Sunday was very attentive and cordial.

    Lovely spot, had the cauliflower wings as a starter, the group loved them, great alternative to the chicken wings. Weather was nice enough to sit out in the terrace which was lovely, it wasn't too busy and we paid but sat chatting for a good while after, not once we're we made to feel we needed to leave after paying, which can be the case elsewhere in Galway. The Wicklow wolf IPA was a great pint! Great evening overall, we've been a number of times now and will be back

    The cocktails were good. The servcie was fine. The food was a mixed bag. The cauliflower wings were good. The salmon was good. The Grilled Zucchini, Mushrooms, Red Peppers, Olive Tapenade, Halloumi on Ciabatta was terrible. The Zucchini was not grilled, it was uncooked, there were no mushrooms and the halloumi was an extremely thin slice. it was very dry and not worth the price.
