Booked in for the trivia night, which was lots of fun. However, the food was average. I ordered a half chicken, so did another guest and it was horrible. The worst I’ve experienced. It’s such a shame as there’s so much potential in that venue. The food came out in drips and drabs. The two chicken dishes came out and everyone else had finished their meals. we joked that they had run over the road to grab a woollies chicken. But that would’ve been à la carte to what we were served. Such a shame extremely disappointing.

We like the place but it was very loud for older people. The music was too loud. Just down a few notches would be good.

This would have to be the worst place we have been to in Eltham. The food was absolutely awful. My husband had prawn spaghetti which he said was average, just prawns swamped in oil and pasta. I had the so called fish and chips, it was so oily and the fish dry it was inedible. It was served with special fries (not) and a slice of grilled pineapple (weird) no salad. The paper that it was served in was swamped in oil. I would certainly recommend people not waste their money on this joint as it is absolutely nothing like Missing Gorilla. Will probably last about a month if it keeps serving garbage like we had.

This was our first visit since it changed to Eltham Social. Sadly it was let down by the food. The Parma came without ham and was served with browning salad leaves with no dressing. The pasta had very little flavour. It’s such a shame because we were hoping to have another great family friendly location to add to our list. The menu offered a great selection but the quality of food just wasn’t there yet.
