We went our our anniversary. The staff kept telling us happy anniversary through out the night and sat us in an intimate seating area. The food was unbelievable and the drink were very well made. Some place give too much alcohol but here it was made with the right amount to complement the other flavors. The restaurant was very clean and they played some nice ambient music and had the lights dimmed as well. 10/10 and I can’t wait to come back :)

The Normandy/ Brittany meal was fantastic—and didn’t make me think: I could have done that myself. I used to live in France and all the ingredients and preparation were perfectly. Also, the wine was wonderfully well chosen for the individual dishes

In 2025 I ate at Et Voila 5x. Each time I loved the food and found it authentically French. The dishes were outstanding - highly aesthetic, delicious, well-balanced, and nourishing. I was extremely disappointed when I returned on 10/14/26 for the Normandie dinner. The Coquille St. Jacques did not come in a scallop shell. It came in a pot pie. There were no large, well cooked scallops under the puff pastry - just sauce, mushrooms, and one sliver of one scallop. The beef cheeks were tasty and tender. However, the vegetables were an afterthought and there was but one tablespoon worth of mashed potatoes. Worse, the beef cheeks were covered in the sort of tiny crispy onions you can get in a foil bag at the grocery store. The dessert was sad. The Normandie apple tart was on the level of something you can buy at Safeway. Previously in 2025 all the dishes were sophisticated and masterful. I have no idea what happened. Did the restaurant simply have a very bad night or has it deteriorated. I will say I'm never going back.

Another glorious regionally themed dinner. This time, Normandy/Brittany. Could not have been better. Plus, a Paris Brest option for dessert? Unbelievably delicious. We can't wait to go back!

Everything about the cuisine was so perfectly French and a gastronomic delight. Service was exceptional as usual. The wine paired elegantly with each dish. Et Voila is truly a magnificent restaurant.

We very much enjoyed the special Bretagne and Normandy dinner this week. The food was really excellent and the service was great. My wife opted for the pairing wines and they were really quite good and well-matched to the plates. This is one of the few restaurants in San Diego that we enjoy going back to time after time. The ambience is quite nice as well.
