The whole experience was simply amazing. We’re from the States and were looking for a nice steak dinner. Fallon & Byrne did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely delicious. The ambience was so nice. The waitstaff was attentive. We’re already thinking about if we can make it there one more time before we leave.

Scallops m, pasta and gazpacho were very nice. The burger was a major key down. Literally just a burger with a bun as I choose no cheese. Nice enough taste but lack any jazz.

Excellent experience. All the staff were lovely. The food is delicious especially the desserts. The mango daiquiri was amazing! One of the best cocktails we have ever had. Highly recommend going here.

This was a celebration lunch with friends on August Bank Holiday. My first experience of Fallon and Byrne dining room. Perfect setting and service. Good choice menu. My scallop starter was particularly noteworthy. Thank you.

The upstairs dining room is such a lovely space. There’s an air of old Dublin about it. A wonderful place to meet up to have a good uninterrupted chat with old friends. Excellent service, delicious food and great cocktails. We’ll be back many times. Thanks for looking after us so well.

We tried to get in on a Saturday night without a reservation and couldn’t so we made a reservation for a Monday. It was not very busy so the vibe was a bit quieter than we saw on the Saturday night. 4 of us had different starters and all were delicious. Breasola and feta our fave followed by gazpacho. Even the standard Caesar salad was elevated. The Rice tagliatelle pasta with burnt corn so light and full of flavour. I would eat here again and again. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. I would eat there again and again.

Unfortunately the starters on the early bird menu were not very impressive with little to choose from so we decided to leave them and go straight to main and have a dessert instead for our two courses. The mains were delicious, couldn't say a bad word about them, but unfortunately overall experience was poor. One of the waitresses tried to fill the glasses up to the brim with our red wine, we had to tell her to stop pouring. She also spilled it down the glass as she was pouring which such little care. Once we'd finished our mains they brought us over the dessert menu but no one came back to take the actual order and as we'd been sat there that long waiting we changed our mind and flagged someone down to simply order coffee. We managed to get the bill quickly but the final challenge was getting someone to come and take for it as we were paying by CC. We have been longstanding customers to Fallon and Byrne every time we visit Dublin on business (twice a year for two weeks each time) often going twice or even three times during these periods but I can honestly say this was not a pleasant experience on this occasion.

Very interesting place with a fabulous wine range and a beautiful artisan food store attached. The 1st floor restaurant is lovely and the service is personable and very efficient. The food was very good.

Sedate dining but inexperienced staff. I asked about garlic in a menu item but was misinformed. I asked what size was a glass of wine but was told “about that size but a bit bigger!” Second waiter asked had to go away to find out.

Pearce and Angela and the F&B team kindly organise a table for two late in the evening after we had been to nearby Riverdance. The service was attentative and professional and just seem to happen around us without any fuss. The Hake....the charred broccoli...the Riesling...and cheese plater...wonderful! Very comfortable, and beautiful decor. Spacious dining area, so that you are not shoulder to shoulder with people at the neighbouring table. Lovely menu, and great choice of wines.

The floor manager found out it was the last night of our honeymoon. He gave us the best seat in the house and two free glasses of champagne. Wonderful service and a very kind staff. And the food was great too! I highly recommend the Paper Airplane cocktail.

The room is lovely and the service good - but the food was not great. Fish over cooked and the baked alaska desert was awful. U could break your teeth on it. The wine and coffee was good
