In the lower depths of Fallon & Byrne lies the romantic, candlelit Wine Cellar, where the shelves are stocked with wickedly quaffable wines from every corner of the globe. We can recommend every last one, to be enjoyed with a light bite or a feast from our all-day food menu including Neapolitan style pizzas and freshly made pastas. And to banish those early week blues, we offer €1 corkage on all retail wines to enjoy in the Cellar every Monday & Tuesday (excluding December)

    First time in the F&B Wine Cellar. Food very good overall other than the stale & cold baguette piece (maybe even defrosted) which came with the fish dish and the 2 desserts we chose were disappointing. The cheesecake was v dry and tasteless and the tiramisu came in a glass and was 80% cream. That aside, the padron peppers were the best I've had anywhere and the Med fish stew was a top quality full of taste winter warmer. The atmosphere was also very good, though would have been improved by an open fire in the unused hearth and some spanish or Italian background music. Overall though, pretty good and will try out again.

    Still can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is always buzzy, the food is delicious, the wine selection substantial & the staff are always friendly delivering superb service. Always a treat eating here.

    Great atmosphere and lovely vibe in the restaurant. Wine lovely but Food really not great. Very disappointed, never been to the cellar restaurant only ever been upstairs to main dining restaurant which has always been lovely.

    From the moment we sat down and our guide explained that it might be an exuberant night as large company groups sat at varous points. It was a brilliant, great tasting, funny evening and so well managed...food magically timed and tasted so well. You have a great venue, lovely staff and a terrific kitchen. So full praise to your chef ZZZ. We'll be back.

    This is one of my favourite venues for lunch. The ambiance can always be guarenteed. The staff are attentive, but not intrusive, and apart from the lack of vegetable options the menu is very good.

    Met up with family for an early evening meal. From the start the ambience of the restaurant was busy but cosy and welcoming. The staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. We had a variety of dishes and sides, all of which were well made and tasty and the wine recommended by staff was lovely. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going back.

    Great ambience and atmosphere, as always. We shared a starter and main which made it better value -otherwise it’s pretty expensive (e.g €19 for a pizza). Starter small and nothing to write home about, but pizza is really delicious. Service was good. Cocktails were fine but we went elsewhere to get better cocktails once we finsihed our meal.

    Tagliatelle was far too spicy, all 3 of my party tried it and we could not eat it. Everything was delicious otherwise and we were given a free dessert to make up for the pasta which was lovely. Great service and lovely atmosphere

    Sadly food choice has become very limited ! Prices have increased a lot but that would be acceptable if there was a decent choice Expand the menu and back some of the old favourites ??

    Unfortunately, the food was good, nut very limited, not abundant in the dishes :-) But great atmospheare, and waiters are special! Good selections of wines.

    Packed Sunday evening in Fallon & Byrne. We love this place. The food was excellent overall. The Beef Ragu was delicious but sauce was a little watery. The works charcuterie board was terrific. We had a really amazing young lady called Anna from Russia as our waitress. She looked after us so well. Fantastic wine selection and recommendations from Anna. The €1 corkage on Sundays was fantastic too. Wishing everyone in F&B continued success. 👏🏻👏🏻

    The food was disappointing and the prawns were not fresh. My sister had to order something else as they were inedible. Not a great experience unfortunately.
