Food and wines are super nice, the staff is very friendly, Fallon & Byrne Wine Cellar is definitely a good place to enjoy a glass (or more..) of wine, whatever the occasion.
Excellent place for wine and light bites/larger meals.
Good food, good wine, lovely service. Would recommend for a date night.
My favourite place, always. Try it and you'll see why!
Service and staff was excellent. The squid was rubbery and the razor clams where not fresh and where from a tin. The wine was good as was the cheese on the charcuterie board, however the meats where not good and could have been bought from any supermarket. I think people go to the restaurant out of habit and because it’s a bit different but food wise there are other restaurants that are more satisfying.
A brilliant place to enjoy their delicious produce. The homemade pasta was very good.
We went on a Sunday (booking essential at all times) when the offer of $1 corkage for wines off the shelf is available which is great if you want to try something less usual.
It is loud (not music, its a large room with hard services) so don't take your granny but the perfect location for your mum.
Drink service was fabulous! We ordered off the menu and the staff was brilliant.
F&B never fails, an excellent start to our weekend in Dublin. Anchovies are a must and the sharing cheese/charcuterie board was perfect. Wines by the glass were perfect. 5 stars!
Great food and wine, fantastic service. Really lovely
Good selection of light bites/sharing plates. Great pasta dishes. Fantastic wood fired pizzas, the best pizza dough around in my opinion! And the staff are consistently attentive and helpful.
I love everything about this place ...
although it was very cold on the afternoon we went ...
So spoiled the initial experience
Have been to Fallon and Byrne so many times however first time since covid-19 totally different menu but food wasn't hard to prepare however my other half got a bottle from the cellar and was charged 10euro for corkage on top of a bottle that cost 50 I think that's a bit excessive
Had a lovely night, fantastic new menu! Enjoyed every minute!
Gorgeous food, so reasonably priced, beautiful setting & great staff - could not fault anything
Absolutely fantastic restaurant, chosen for the last meal out of our family holiday. Gorgeous food with high quality presentation as always, yet at a price which is pleasantly affordable. We enjoyed the hummous platter, two types of pasta and some squid. Can’t wait to come back!
Amazing service, food and atmosphere!! Definitely coming back
Once again a delightful meal in delightful surroundings. Staff made us feel welcome and valued, even remembering which wine we had enjoyed the day before! Nothing was too much trouble, and we enjoyed a long leisurely lunch.
Fallon and Byrne wine cellar is our usual first stop on a Dublin city break It’s always a good experience, and this time was as we’d hoped. The room was slightly cool because the glass in the door was being replaced, but the staff, always thoughtful and attentive, brought us a cosy blanket to use if we felt cold. We enjoyed mixed olives and a pate sharing board, with a wonderful Gavi to accompany the meal.
Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious food.
Pizza was good and waitress was lovely but it was freezing and the food got cold very quickly. It was so cold we had to wear a coat
My only complaint was it was quite cold and depending where you were sitting there was quite a breeze coming through the hall. We were able to move to a not so breezy table but I found that the food went cold very quickly. However the food and wine were beautiful
I normally enjoy the wine bar at Fallon and Byrne but this it was freezing. Customers sat with coats and scarfs on. Red wine remained cold.
It’s a pity as food is excellent and the maitre D so friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t think I could go back until there’s proper heating.
Lovely place, the waiter from Sardinia (I didn't get his name) was lovely, very friendly and a real expert with the food and wine menu.
Excellent food and service. The staff at reception are particularly warm and welcoming.
Gorgeous food, great service and reasonably priced.
Excellent selection of wines and great food.Followed all Covid rules! Will be back!
Lovely location, delicious food and amazing staff. We will definitely be returning 👍
If you have more than 4 at your table you won't be able to hear any conversation between you, even from the person beside you if they turn away slightly.
Pizzas and wine were fab. Service excellent. Would highly recommend.
Great atmosphere, fab food and excellent service. Would highly recommend Fallon and Byrne
Lovely food in casual setting, great wine options! Comfier chairs would be nice! 😊
Fallon and Byrne Wine Cellar is the place to go for a nice glass of wine and aperitif. Atmosphere is there, plus now with the great new addiction of the delicious pizzas is even better!
Service, though, this time wasn't the best.
The waitress seemed a bit in a rush.
Overall totally recommend Fallon and Byrne Wine cellar!
Unfortunately not as nice as usual. The staff weren’t very attentive. It was really cold. High tables are really uncomfortable and no option to book a lower table for two people even though tables were free.
Firstly, services was super friendly Still professional looking after us, nothing was forgotten or taking too long, food was very nice, selection of wines awesome, we went for an Alsace Gewürztraminer and a Primitivo Di Manduria for reasonable prices, very good wines both of them.
Some items a bit overpriced and may be being in Ireland offering a pint of Guinness It will never hurts
Wonderful experience. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and recommended beautiful wine. It was my friends birthday and they brought her out a little tiramisu. Very nice touch.
Thank you :)
Mixed charcuterie board always a winner. Service excellent. Adherence to all Covid Protocols observed.
Amazing experience! Great food and wine!
Excellent pizza. The Spicy Nduja was very flavoursome. Great atmosphere. What I love about Fallon and Byrne is that I can have a conversation with my friends and hear everyone clearly.
The Wine Cellar is is a must go to! Food was gorgeous from start to finish. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. Had a fab night will definitely be back.
