About Farmer Browns - Bath Avenue
Three years ago my sister and I dreamt of owning our own cafe. Six months later we opened the door to Farmer Browns, serving lunch and brunch. We had 12 seats and a kitchen – more bedsit than bistro! We decided to make simple, delicious and quirky Irish/American inspired dishes. We only used Ireland’s artisan, free range, organic and homegrown produce to showcase how quality ingredients can make simple outstanding food. Suddenly the word got out and we realised that our little brain child was growing, we invested in a new kitchen, outside area and more seats. A year later we opened our doors for dinner, serving delicious burgers, steaks, wings, ribs and salads. In spring 2014 we added our very own vegetable garden at the front of the restaurant where we grow all of our own herbs and as much veg as we can, to keep our menu fresh and seasonal. Now we are living the dream and with a wonderful team around us we strive to provide simple and delicious food in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Farmer Browns - Bath Avenue Ratings and Reviews
Was so disappointed! It’s a house with no attempt to make it feel anything other than someone who quickly converted their living room and front patio to a dining area! Menu did not have all that was advertised on their site. Staff trying to fill seats telling people “food only takes minutes to put together” leaving images of all precooked food. Left without even ordering! No spirits either just a disaster!
This was in a very unexpected location but our initial scepticism disappeared once inside and we saw the decor and the food! Overall we had a lovely meal. I had the burger and it was amazing. A suggestion might be to ensure that kids meals are plain unless the parents are warned. We got quite spicy goujans and chicken fillet-the kids ate the food and enjoyed it to a point but eventually it became too spicy. Thankfully they could steal some of daddy's steak!
Overall a good experience in a quaint restaurant. We would recommend and definitely go back.
This is a really cute little restaurant. We went for dinner, shared chicken wings and both had the Massey Ferguson Burger which was really good. They're generous with their portion sizes too which is always a good thing! Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
