Unfortunately, despite choosing "outdoor table," we were sat inside (which we were ok with since we were vaccinated.
The service was fine.
As for food. Appetizers were good (cauliflower hummus was excellent). Meals were not so good. No one in our group of 7 was thrilled with their food, and several of us disliked our meals. Everything was extremely salty--especially the Impossible Meatloaf and the Spicy Fried Chicken+Donut.
During at least half of our meal, the fire alarm was "being tested" and we had to deal with flashing lights overhead, and about 15 minutes of blaring fire alarm noises. It would have been nice for the restaurant to discount our food due to the really unenjoyable ambiance.
Steak cooking was awful and a bad cut. Mussels were excellent. Host was rushed but server was great!

Didn’t get seated for 30minutes, hostesses were all over the place. Big restaurant so everything was rushed. Very loud outdoors and indoors. Food was good. Would not go here if looking for a quiet and peaceful meal.
Love that the food is mostly suitably sourced and local where possible. The service was very kind and the food options are plentiful. We had a combo of vegans and meat lovers, dairy free etc. Very accommodating!

Food was very average. I'd expect much better food selection/quality for the price. Buffet lines were long and literally in the middle of a busy server/kitchen thoroughfare. Front register service was subpar- I was waiting almost 10 mins to pay my bill. Staff was extremely pleasant and friendly but I will likely not be back.
We had brunch outside on the patio. Service was a little disorganized but food was delicious. It is a walk-up buffet brunch - eggs, french toast, salads, fried chicken and baked goods.
Brunch was great! The food was delicious and was such a great value for the price. I was worried about how the buffet would work during COVID, but servers made your plate for you from behind plexiglass. My only complaint is that some of them rushed you and didn’t even tell you what was in the pans. There are no labels on the food, so you’re at their mercy. During Round 1 of 2, the food server was explaining everything to the customer in front of me, but my food server didn’t tell me anything so I listened to what was happening in front of me. It wasn’t that busy so I didn’t let them rush me. My guest felt rushed and pressured.
That was a small blemish on an otherwise fantastic experience. My favorites were the French toast and banana syrup, fried shrimp, and brisket. Coffee was really good. The host staff and clean up crew were very nice. Our waiter was the absolute best. My receipt says “Sho”. I don’t recall his full name. It became very busy outside as it got later in the morning. He handled so many tables with the best attitude. Anything we asked he gave us a huge smile (with his eyes because he was masked) and said sure! He was so nice and made sure to look at our table with each pass to see if we needed him.

Our friends said we HAD to try Farmers Fishers Bakers while we are in town! It did NOT disappoint! I will be recommending it to friends and family too!
I loved the happy hour at Farmers Fishers! The staff were so attentive to us and we had an awesome experience. We’re definitely going back since the food, drinks, and atmosphere were all amazing.
Come on now ! $5.00 cocktails during Happy Hour (3:30-7:00) makes me very happy I had the Orange Crush and it was delicious. You only get 4 little pieces of chicken from the small plates menu, 2 flats, 2 drums, but it's a small plate so stop being greedy and they are garlic black pepper wings that taste AHMAZING. The pimento cheddar biscuits are warm, moist , chewy and the butter just seeps in and takes them up a notch. I think the fries are cooked in crack juice, they are that addictive. I've never had a bad meal, the view is amazing if you like to people watch and if you don't mind a short walk, park all the way down the 3500 block of Water Street and you can park 3 hours for free.

The atmosphere is wonderful but the food was not to our liking, the sushi didn’t come with ginger, wasabi or soy sauce. The chicken was bland the drinks had mor ice than drink
The blackened catfish was indescribably delicious. So we’re the grits that came with it. The dish was highly recommended but I was still somewhat skeptical. But it was the best fish I have had in a minute. The team there was very hospitable and helpful.
We enjoyed the food; have been there before and we like the variety on the menu. We all had something different and everyone was pleased. I was a bit disappointed that we were seated at an outside table with no heat lamp. We did request outside and some of the tables did have them but no in the area we were seated. When I requested to be moved nearer to the heat lamp I was told no because we had 5 people and they were no more than 4. I think a chair could have been added to the end to accommodate us but my group agreed we were fine. I was a bit chilly throughout but everyone else was okay. We love FFB and will return for sure, I'll just be more prepared for a chilly day or eat inside once we are more comfortable with the virus stats.
Food was subpar ... seafood jambalaya was so dry and over cooked. One waitress dropped water off then no one can back to our table for 10 mins - I finally flagged the waitress down to order and she says oh it looked like someone already took care of you on the computer? But we’re sitting with no drinks or food in front of us. Would not return

The food was overall not satisfying had to take a couple order back to the kitchen because of the food quality and taste.
Management was nice enough to accept and hear our requests about the food and did what they could do to make it right which was appreciated since it was a Mother’s Day brunch.

We had the tuna poke' bowl (spicy but not too spicy) and the half-pound Louie with shrimp. Both were delicious. The shrimp in the Louie were especially delicious. The service was spectacular. Mia was smart, funny, and gave us all the time we needed (our lunch lasted at least three hours). We were seated outdoors, facing the fountain and the Potomac, which was a lovely place to be.
Although we had a reservation, hostess was not very friendly. However, wait staff was great, and food was very good.
