Traveled from interstate and found Fico for a nice dinner! It didn’t disappoint! Service was great, staff were so friendly and helpful! The food was great and very good value. We got 3mains and starters to share which was the perfect amount and good value for money!! Would go back again when travelling!

We were really disappointed with our experience. The waitress made us feel rushed to order even though there were only about seven people in the restaurant, then blamed the kitchen when we questioned it. Her attitude came across as passive-aggressive throughout the meal. The lamb ragu was also very oily and not enjoyable. To top it off, there was a photoshoot with an extremely bright flash going off repeatedly while we were dining. It was distracting and affected our vision, and the manager offered no solution or consideration for guests. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Had the pleasure of dining at Fico Restaurant & Bar at Crowne Plaza Melbourne Carlton, and it was an exceptional experience. The space itself is beautifully designed, relaxed yet refined, but what truly stood out was the energy of the team and the genuine hospitality throughout the evening. Service was warm, confident and attentive without ever feeling over the top, exactly what you hope for in a great hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, thoughtful dishes that showcase quality produce and a kitchen that clearly cares about flavour and balance. Everything felt well executed and enjoyable from start to finish. I’ll be the first to admit I’m a fairly picky diner when it comes to restaurants and hotels, but Fico delivered a genuinely memorable experience. It’s the kind of place you leave already thinking about when you’ll come back next. A fantastic addition to Carlton and a brilliant opening effort from the team behind Crowne Plaza Melbourne Carlton.
