FIG & OLIVE Fifth Avenue
FIG & OLIVE FIFTH AVENUE truly stands out with its elegant and authentic design from the French and Italian Riviera. This space offers numerous possibilities to host a variety of events from 12 to 250 guests.
FIG & OLIVE’s menu philosophy is based on the notion of clean, healthy and sophisticated ingredients and dishes, each prepared or finished with unique olive oil.
A great spot near the MoMA with a nice atmosphere, fair prices, and helpful staff. Would recommend the mushroom croquettes.
I love your restaurant
Food was great. Had been to the bar before and there is such a nice vibe overall.
Will be back.
I’ve been to the Fig & Olive restaurant in Los Angeles many times and now to F&O 5th Ave. and it never disappoints.
The food is delicious, service fast and courteous.
F&O maintains a wonderful Ext Perrin even coast to coast!
Here's an honest review. This place is packed at lunch due to a lack of mid-range restaurants in midtown. Thus, the restaurant is very noisy. If you are looking for a quite place, this is not it. The service is generally good and keeps up pace with all the action. The food is satisfactory. I have the lunch set menu. The crostini were good. The salad was huge and generally good with lots of cheese, figs, etc. The salmon entrée was fine, but lacked flavor. We didn't have desert. So overall, busy noisy place, service decent and food good, but not great. Serviceable spot in the heart of midtown Manhattan. You could do worse.
Cool little restaurant in the heart of midtown. Very good food, drinks and service.
Really enjoyed the dining experience but would have liked a bit more engagement from the server. Some hospitality would have really helped the overall evening.
I love going to Fig & Olive. The dishes are absolutely amazing. Never disappointed.
The food was disappointing ! The service is ok !
Great food, great service!
Had another fabulous meal at Fig and Olive Restaurant Fifth Avenue. Fig and Olive is my favorite NYC Restaurant- it’s a must visit whenever I’m visiting NYC. I highly recommend Fig and Olive to everyone!
We enjoyed it very much.
Will check it out in Houston, also.
Excellent food, great and attentive service, very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Food was good. Nice place for lunch.
It's my favourite choice in Manhattan, and the best restaurant in this area.
It was nice ... first time I was visiting from Atlanta.
I'd go back a few times a year. Not much more often cause the menu is quite limited. But the food is pretty good and the service is great.
Excellent food, service,. One of my favorite places in NY City. Love the croquettes!
Second time there. I had the primavera risotto. It was a very small portion and the rice was over cooked. Would not go back.
Dining at Fig & Olive was a pleasant experience because of a welcoming staff and very good food. The Shrimp and Salmon in the Riviera Salad was perfectly done. This is a nice restaurant in a great location.
Celebrated my birthday with my mom. I was so happy I got a last-minute booking to Fig and Olive. Everything was perfect, but serving the food took a little while. Serving size vs price was decent. ❤️
I will be back tonight, because this place is so great! I am here on business for a week, and I choose to bring clients here because the food is excellent. The location is superb! And the ambience is lovely.
We are first-time New York visitors and were beyond pleased with the entire experience from start to finish.
Service was cold but not terrible. Food was okay but lots of unnecessary oils and butter used. It’s easy to make good taste good when it’s drenched in fatty oils. I changed my ordered from the Branzino to the Sea Bass after seeing other customers orders with both. The Sea Bass looked thicker and less cooked in fat. However when I received mine it was thin, small and cooked in lots of fat. Both my husband and I ordered the Sea Bass and our portions were tiny. This could have been an much better dish if put together more thoughtfully and without a ton of oil!! Not impressed.
Great food, great ambience
Good food. Busy place and service a little slow. Very loud
Decent food, good service. Entrees are really small, not great value for the price.
The food was great with a nice selection, very fresh and flavorful. The service excellent--attentive but not pushy. It was a little noisy but not to the extent that you couldn't hear people at your table, and it was lunchtime so . . . Definitely one of my favorite spots.
Our server was great however they kept pushing us to get in orders or clear plates. It also got quite loud. Food was great. They did a nice job with a candle in dessert for our celebration
Happened to be in the area and found this gem of a restaurant. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Wait staff helpful, courteous and fun. Will definitely go back
The Food was great! The service as correct. But the noite was too loud!
Our dining experience was superb! We were greeted with enthusiasm, and seated within seconds.
The menu offered fabulous options and the items that we ordered were, again, superb! I intend to
visit Fig and Olive each time we come to NYC...Bravo, Fig and Olive!
Great happy hour spot, lunch and dinner are great for clients/work events. Highly recommend to business people in the area.
Perfect sharing menu. Creative cocktails which are a little pricey but worth it. The olive oil sampler and bread a nice touch and the desserts were amazing. A definite keeper on my restaurant list. Outstanding service.
Good food. Tables too close together.
Our server was amazing!!!! We do love this restaurant but he made us love it more
Best part of the meal were the crostini, small tasty bites. Main courses were disappointing, the risotto my husband ordered was a very small portion for $29 the waiter had asked him if he wanted to add something to it so obviously they know it is small! However that would have just increased the price and changed the intended flavor profile. He said it was delicious! My chicken was dry and very little in the way of veggies/potatoes. My friends pasta was ok. The wine was also disappointing, we ordered the carafe size not realizing it was really just 2 glasses worth for $33! Yes I know this is NYC but really the menu should say quantities!
I last ate at your other location in the Meatpacking district about 4 years ago and loved everything so I was sad that this experience was less than wonderful. In fact at that location we were educated in what olive oil samples we were tasting, this time the waiter just put the tray down, no information at all. You will never sell any bottles that way!
We went for our anniversary and ordered the filet for two. It was delicious! The bread and dipping oil was also very delicious.
Seated at a very tight table with not much room to move
Lunch menu was limited. Nothing greatly wrong but not what I expected. Very loud couldn’t hear the people I was dining with but it was lunch time.
Disgusting food, the waiter was completely rude, my food order was wrong, and overpriced!
