FIG & OLIVE Meatpacking
We’ve been here multiple times and this was probably our last. Service was horrid.
Delicious food. Great service. Interesting ambiance. I ll definitely be back.
I went for dinner during restaurant week and ordered from the prefix menu. I was pleasantly surprised that the portion sizes were regular size, and satisfying. I’ve had prefix meals in the past, elsewhere that were completely skimpy and left me hungry after leaving the restaurant.
I ordered the salad, chicken, cheesecake, truly filling and delicious.
Will definitely be coming to Fig & Olive!!!!!
Waiter took 10 mins to greet us, drinks took too long, didn’t check in after main was served. Nobody at my table was impressed.
Great place! Great food! Good service
Food very good with especially outstanding appetizers.
Jazz band too loud making conversation difficult
The food which we usually love was disappointing. Very ordinary. None of the usual marvelous flavors we recall. Live music was ear shattering in decibels. Service was uneven.
Wonderful food and wonderful service every time!!
I love this restaurant. It is spacious, yet quiet enough for conversation, food is fabulous, service very attentive and solicitous without being obtrusive, ambiance is pleasant. Last time, we were allowed to linger for hours after lunch. In short, nothing negative. I've already visited three times in the last three weeks and plan to return again and again.
Was great, thank you for the best birthday lunch . We had a good time .
The food was good. Lamb chops excellent. Pasta forgettable. A restaurant at that level should make fresh pasta. The service was terrible. We were sitting there for a long time, had to ask twice for somebody to help us. She was doing less than the minimum. That kind of behavior ruins the experience.
Our waiter was very nice, but a little disorganized. For example, we had almost finished our dinner before our bottle of wine was delivered to the table.
The food was good but the filet mignon only comes with one type of sauce they had no others.
There was a live jazz band! Food was delicious, ambiance was lovely, service was very much lacking.
Really good food with a nice atmosphere. My wife had the salmon and really enjoyed it. I had the sea bass and it was delicious. The portion was on the small side, but very good. A little pricy, but would definitely go back.
I highly recommend trying one of each crostini.
Great food, great ambience. Service is a little slow, especially to get the check at the end. Restaurant crowed, would require a bit more staff.
Had an excellent restaurant week dinner. The chicken tagine was delicious and a generous sized portion.
Wine took over 30 minutes to come and came after our first course.
My guests were visiting from Australia and on their honeymoon and it was embarrassing how long it took for our drinks come and our food. Otherwise our waiter was super nice.
The Crostini is a must have! The fig and olive salad is delicious. Paired with rose wine, it’s a wonderful combination. This is a great location! Enjoy it as much as uptown!
Great food, great place.
Best food I had in quite some time. Everything I had was out-of-this-world amazing! The cocktail I had was delicious too. My friend had the salmon and she wasn’t impressed (she needed salt). But her appetizer and dessert were good. I’m definitely coming back! I want to try the rest of their menu!
A treat that they were participating in NYC Restaurant Week. Was able to try dish I wouldn’t normally order at a great price (salmon). Terrific wine by glass list. Excellent service and restaurant continues to have a great vibe any time of day. Thank you!
Verry nice dinner , good price value, loved the ambiance
I had two large gatherings at Fig & Olive Meatpacking and they were fantastic. The ambience, food and service were all exceptional. The brunch was, quite possibly, the best brunch menu and experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a simple dinner or private event.
It is NYC restaurant week. Rang to confirm hours for Sunday lunch and Restaurant Week (RW) menu offered. When sat down at table and asked for the RW menu was told not offered & person on phone misspoke. Even though online also says RW menu offered on Sunday lunch. Nonetheless, ordered burger off regular lunch menu and it was not very good at all. Live Jazz band was the only positive
The food was really good. We spent a perfect evening.
Food was excellent. Service was very good, pleasant waitstaff.
A perfect place to meet friends for drinks and dinner. Manager was very welcoming and accommodating of ur party. Crostini’s and wine are a perfect way to start the dinner. My friends enjoyed the crostinis so so much. The Fig and Olive salad is fresh and interesting. The noise level is energetic but you can carry on a conversation. Overall one of my favorite restaurants in New York City.
LOVE... Mediterranean cuisine in a modern, airy and light setting. We had the restaurant week menu and it did not disappoint. I really liked the entire experience - food, ambiance, service... there was even a small jazz band with a vocalist (and they were really good!).
Beautiful restaurant, loud for catching up and conversation
Great service !!!!! Beautiful place , we ended up sitting outside bc it was so beautiful outside but the inside was great as well!
Restaurant week menu was interesting and generous. Food was delicious and the service was professional.
Had a great time celebrating my husbands bday. Very spacious place (rare to find in NYC). The food was amazing and service as well. Happy hour until 7 pm. $9 cocktails.
Wonderful cuisine and attentive service! We loved it and we’ll be back!
Ate there twice in 2 days.
Loved our waiter Taylor!
He waited on us the first day and we requested him the second time.
We enjoyed the Sunday Brunch pre-fix...good food options with paired drinks. Will do this again. Only down side was the high noise level.
I thought this used to be good restaurant & went for dinner & it was disappointing. For the $$ I think the food should be better.
The service was attentive but never intrusive. The Somm is amazing and recommended a very good wine, off-menu from the Priorat region is Spain, which paired perfectly with our meal.
Always a good time. Not too loud but fun and elegant
