It was my first time in Fire tonight and I was so impressed. Service was incredible and food was delicious. My Grandmother has an allergy and we felt confident they had listened and understood. They realised it was my birthday and the entire wait staff sang me happy birthday. A lovely evening and can’t wait to go back!
The place is highly recommended especially for special occasions such as birthday and date. The atmospheric decor plays also a significant role for your memorable dining.
Had a fabulous meal here on Saturday night. Made so welcome from we entered the front door and looked after in the bar and restaurant bywell trained, professional, friendly staff. I chose the beautiful fish cakes followed by signature prawns while my husband had the smoked salmon followed by a rib eye surf and turf. We chose market veg to accompany our dishes and sweet potato fires both were delicious and washed down with a fabulous bottle of NZ Sauvignon blanc. Sadly we had no room for dessert as they sounded delicious.
We will definitely be back next time we’re in Dublin, can’t wait! Loved every bite.
I am a steak addict and was very curious to visit your restaurant, however, the steaks have not been as predicted to be:
- two out of five steaks have been well-done instead of the ordered medium
- the two steaks have still been medium-well after the second time
- one out of the two steaks have not been fillet prime centre cut after second time, it was the head of fillet
- one of out of fillet dry-aged was not tender at all
We were there for a 30th, food was fab and waiters sang happy birthday to the birthday girl along with a sorbet on the house , 3rd time here, can’t waot to return
My first time at Fire, and my partner and I couldn`t be more happier. We were very much well cared. There is not a single thing that we would have changed. We both loved the Goats cheese starter
We did not expected it to be as good as it was!
Price does not make it to the food. The table was disgustingly dirty, although the service was good. Badly made meat. Gravy tasted as burned and odd. For the price, you can get a much better meal in a Michelin starred restaurant. Cocktails were wonderful, made with very good. Not recommending at all in the future. Maybe the bar, not the food.
Little bit expensive but worth it. Made my dinner date perfect. Would love to go there again. Food was amazing as well as drinks
When entered the atmosphere of the entire lounge was lovely, and didn't wait too long to be brought to our table. Upon entering the restaurant area the mood and the atmosphere changed and instantly became romantic with my girlfriend, the sparkling wine was perfect and the 3 course meal was brilliant but the only order that was wrong was the desert, it was meant to be one chocolate and caramel cube and a cheesecake but we got 2 chocolate caramel cubes but it wasn't anything serious, it still made my girlfriend smile and made her feel special for Valentine's day, so thank you for your service.
I loved the reception we got from staff and how we were looked after at both stages from the lounge then to our table also waiter was very nice I was a bit disappointed with my starter the fish cake was quite dry and felt like it was heated in a microwave it was that hot, the rest of the food was delicious I would recommend to friends for sure but I would suggest to stay away from the fish cake 😳
It was a very good experience and very tasty food.
Amazing building and interior. Very professional staff. We were there for Valentines so it was extremely busy but the food was excellent, the food sometimes suffers on occasions like this but we had a lovely meal and didn’t feel at all rushed. From meet and greet to waiting on staff the service was very sleek!
Recommended to visit, the restaurant itself is really beautiful. The food wasn’t great but I understand it was a fully packed valentines night. Wouldn’t put me off coming back as I enjoyed my visit.
Myself and my boyfriend are here on Valentine’s Night. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was just perfect.
We weren’t waiting long for our starters and mains...although there was a 20-25 minute delay until dessert - I think we were forgotten about! We were offered a glass of wine to compensate for the wait - which we didn’t really mind anyway!
Thank you to the waiting staff (in particular the lovely blonde female server who looked after us!)
First time here really loved it Early bird menu great value for money would come back again
This was a lovely evening, the service was flawless and the food was not only excellent but the menu also included very interesting choices - it went from standard seafood and steak dishes (very varied by the way) to more creative options, for those feeling more adventurous. The wine and cocktail list also had many options to choose from. Overall, I would definitely recommend or repeat myself though of course for this type of service and food, it is a bit on the pricey side (approx. 80 to 90 per person for starter, main and dessert with glass of wine).
Staff are some of the best we’ve ever encountered- especially Jack, he was excellent (and good fun too!)
Will definitely return
Beautiful venue with lovely staff and great food, prices but perfect for something special
Lovely food, very attentive wait staff. Slightly expensive nbut massive amounts of food
Very unsatisfied with our experience at FIRE on Sat last.
- Service was poor.
Our starters arrived pretty much as soon as we ordered and without our bottle of wine being served
- Food was ok but not to the standards it use to be.
Dessert couldn't be eaten, had ordered a cheesecake and it was obvious it had been out of the fridge for a number of hours - was warm and not edible. the manager did apologize for this and brought a fresh slice
We went to celebrate our anniversary, we had a lovely time. The staff were very busy but polite and didn’t rush you in the least. The food was fantastic and the portions were perfectly sized.
After dinner we relaxed in the lounge, which had a really good live music.
All in all a lovely night and we look forward to going back again soon
Very noisy. Service not great. Food ok coffee cold. Felt rushed from table
Service was great, all the staff were professional in making us feel welcome comfortable.
Great Sunday Lunch! Sister restaurant to sole which weirdly we had eaten at the night before. Beef joints cooked in a pizza oven - what could be better than that!? Managed to get a doggy bag back to London - very happy pooch! Highly recommended Tx
What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon, great surroundings, superb food, great staff.
It was so good I’m going back on Wednesday with friends
Overall meal was ok but service was very slow. Wouldn't be rushing back for another meal here.
Excellent service and staff is very professional and friendly at the same time.
95 Euro for a shared steak that we sent back because it was chewy
Without doubt some of the best food and service ever received 10/10
Very nice food but poor service. Starters came out before our drinks. Got the bill and it took the waiter 10 minutes to come back over and take for it. We had called for him half way through this time and he still didn’t come. But food was delish!
It’s expensive but worth every penny. Had a lovely time, and the waiters were so good. Service was phenomenal. Can’t fault it.
Food was not great, would of expected it to be better for the money that was spent. Only part I would have to say was great was the service .
The ambiance was fantastic, and the food was exceptional. Really very good service, and there was good attention to detail. Great Night, and I would recommend it to my friends.
Lovely welcome, I was entertaining two colleagues on their first trip to Dublin and the service and friendliness was top class.
Food was good and great choices on the fixed menu. We arrived at 6.30 so not too busy (was full by time we left at 8.30) and seated at a nice table on the raised area around main floor.
While I can’t fault the service as our waitress was lovely the overall experience was very disappointing.
The set menu at 54 euro per person had a number of supplement charges (one being a fiver supplement for a cheeseboard) as well as 2 euro supplements for tea/coffee. We were brought out water which we found out at the end was a 4 euro a bottle - it’s very frustrating when customers are offered water but it’s not specified that they’ll be charged for it. Unless it’s specified they shouldn’t be charged.
We ordered the steak which was mediocre at best. Considering the price we were paying we expected a lot more. It was also cold when it was brought out. The sides at 6 euro extra were disappointing.
We were seated next to the host stand so found it awkward to have a proper conversation as we could see and hear everything the staff were doing as they were congregated there.
Overall it’s not value for money. I’d go as far as to say it’s actually a bit of a rip off. While the service was nice it doesn’t make up for the fact that it’s a mediocre food, an ok experience and very overpriced. Would not recommend or return.
Had a fab meal here and will definitely be back again
We were very surprised when the bill arrived.Very expensive and not worth it.The service was bad.We had to ask to order wine and constantly asking for more water. We will not be returning.
As soon as you walk in to Fire you get the wow factor, you are greeted immediately and in our case shown to the bar area for drinks as we were early. When it was time for us to move up to the restaurant someone came over and took us upstairs to our table; the same lady asked if I would like another cocktail, however she didn't ask my husband he had to order his with a waiter. The food was outstanding and didn't take long to arrive at all, however nobody came back to check on us until we had more or less finished our meal so had there have been anything wrong or missing, it wouldn't have been rectified unless we had of asked. We had to ask for more drinks as again nobody came over to ask us. When looking around the room and people watching it seemed to us that there was a lot of management on the restaurant floor and not enough waiters/waitresses. The waiting staff were run off their feet and therefore not been able to concentrate on their allocated tables and the management seemed to be walking around the room collecting menus and giving orders to the waiting staff, but not talking or asking customer if everything is ok with their meal.
