FIRE Restaurant and Lounge Ratings and Reviews
First visit to Fire, food was good and service was excellent. It took a little time to be seated at our table and we had a reservation, but on this occasion we were not in a rush so it was fine. We do recommend Fire, you wasn't be disappointed. Bon Appetite!
The location and food fabulous. But the receptionist at he door wasn't very welcoming and talked over us to speak with a member of staff and half way though welcoming us and then Raised her eyebrows to welcome a couple in a much friendlier manner as they entered behind us! The waitress was not very attentive and we had to ask for drinks a few times before we got them. When I requested the bill from a girl with an ear piece , she didn't acknowledge or smile she just spoke into mic saying table 6 want bill! So overall a bit disappointing!
went there the other week to try something different for special occasion. really nice inside, very different to what expected, very large and spacious. the downstairs is a nice bar area and then upstairs is the restaurant. the restaurant has very clever decor and you can see into the kitchen. the service is very good overall though we did have to ask a second time for one person's drink. the set menu, consisting of three courses for 50 quid had lots of choice and the food when it came was superb. will be back again in the near future for more meals there!
My 2nd time in this restaurant and intend to go back and back again. Great set up in the dining area, bar area nice and classy. My guests from America loved this establishment. Food quality was superb, salmon was scrumptious, soft & tender. Didn't like the French Onion Soup (was too thick and a bit messy to eat) but that doesn't take away the great menu they have @Fire.
This was a special get together of life long friends who live on opposite sides of the city. So its was a great central location. From our arrival every member of staff were very friendly and helpful. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion and the food was outstanding. The night was a total success. Many thanks to all the staff at Fire .
This was our last night in Dublin and we got a recommendation to go to Fire. Food was very good, but server was a bit hurried and made a few errors. While we got a decent table - we had to ask to be moved when we were first seated as it was in a high traffic area. Wood-grilled jumbo shrimp was fantastic and the 3-course tasting menu was well worth it. A few bumps - but for a special meal in Dublin - I would recommend.
The service at Fire is very slow at the bar when we ordered a pre dinner drink. The bar staff preferred to talk to the cocktail waitress - it took over 15 mins to order one bottle of wine and 2 beers. Dinner - lamb and salmon was order cooked tp the point of being dry. White wine was warm, the red wine was hot and the port wine was cooking. The manager who "comped" half the food did not really care that much. This could be a great restaurant but it seems that they have settled for that typical corporate mediocre style place. Dublin has so many great restaurants - just do not go here.
Very disappointed with the quality of food and service we got when celebrating a birthday there. The steak was pretty grisly and the attention to detail from the staff was also poor (forgetting wine order, dessert special request). I complained to the manager and in fairness to him he remedied the situation as best he could but overall not the dining experience I expected at that price. Many other restaurants in Dublin offering better food, service and value.
Very good and tasty food, excellent service and great staff. I would like to give special notice to Joseph (Josip), want to thank him for surprise for my boyfriend birthday, and taking care of us to make that day even more special. We will definitely come back!
The food was superb- every course as nice as the last.
It is a bit pricy but the quality is worth.
the staff were very kind to make special arrangements as we had missed the early-bird by a few minutes- and this meant we could have wine with our meal.
The accoustics make it very difficult to hear each other but it is a lovely setting
Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Just a couple of things..... when we got to our table there were only 5 place settings and 5 chairs even though our booking was for 6 people. We had to wait a while until the extra chair arrived and the extra setting placed. Slow to take our food order and the service was a little slow in between courses. The food was fantastic and we had a lovely evening.
Myself and my sister had an Early Bird menu on Saturday and this was the third time we have eaten in ur restaurant. The service the food the atmosphere was terrific. I could not fault it. Although we had a 2 hour slot for our table we did not feel rushed in any way to finish our meal or leave or table, which was lovely to see. A thoroughly enjoyable experience was had and we will certainly be back again.
