We really enjoyed the sunday roast. Very nice and helpful staff, lovely food and lots of it. Well set up for small children and good setting for families. Will return.
We really enjoyed our meal at Fire; great service, lovely food, a beautiful setting and a really nice ambiance. We certainly hope to return again very soon.
Great Service!!! Muy bueno el lugar y la comida espectacular !!! La carne una delicia
Absolutely brilliant!! Food was outstanding, staff were always smiling, welcoming and helpful. Music was chilled, what you want when having a meal.. bar staff downstairs where really nice and helped when choosing a nice drink.. told him what I wanted and he suggested a great whisky!! Overall.. a really great night.

First time to go to afire and I certainly wasn’t disappointed, everything about this restaurant is beautiful, staff where lovely and very non intrusive, the food was amazing wine lovely. Can’t wait to go back and would totally recommend to all
Fillet steak was gorgeous. Staff were very nice. Very enjoyable visit
We went to fire for my mothers birthday on aug 4th, our table was booked through open table, on arrival we were left “waiting for a host” for about 5 mins, although we probably wouldn’t have noticed bar the fact that we were told this about 10 times, took the apology and moved on. Our food and drinks order were taken at the same time, although the appetizer arrived before the drinks, about 20 mins after being ordered and the drinks were another 10 mins when we brought it to their attention. I slipped down to front desk and handed them my card, telling them that I wanted to pay for the meal when we were done, and the same manager we were greeted with called the servers and asked them to place a “no bill to the table” note on their system. After we finished dinner and drinks, I ran downstairs before anyone at the table had a chance to ask for the bill, and paid. By the time I got back to the table the cheque was on the table and the waitress was about to take my dads card for payment. For the time we got there we felt like the service was all over the place. Food was good but the mess ups and the service would make me not want to make another visit
We visited after a sporting occasion and found the restaurant as good as ever.
Food was excellent. Service was poor. Pre- dinner, bread plate and side plates were left on the table for the entire meal. When taking our food order, the waiter came to our table and did not say anything, did not ask if we were ready to order, just stood looking at us. We were not asked if we needed more drinks or anything else at any stage throughout our meal.
I went here for the first time with my boyfriend on Saturday night. I reserved my table and when I arrived I was greeted with a pleasant smile and was offered a seat in the lounge while my table was being prepared. Myself and my boyfriend ordered a drink and within minutes our table was all ready. The waitress brought our drinks up to our table and offered to take our coats. We both ordered from the set menu and the food came within a good time and was always hot and delicious. I’m very picky with my food but everything I got in Fire was perhaps the nicest thing I’ve eating. I got the lamb skewers, chicken supreme and the cheesecake. Everything was amazing. The staff were very attentive and always made sure we were okay. The decor of the restaurant was outstanding and I will 100% be returning !
3 year anniversary dinner here was a perfect fit. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Meals were well worth the price. Would happily recommend.
Booked table for 6pm to avail of early bird (available 5 - 6pm) arrived at 5.45 as suggested but not seated til 6.10 and told we were too late for early bird. It has the ambiance of a cruise ship dining room, in need of an aesthetic update and even the soundtrack was a bit naff. Had high hopes that unfortunately weren't met.
Very beautiful location with cozy bar with wide choice of cocktails. Great meat and fast and professional service. It is a bit noisy but fun. I would definitely recommend it.
We got a voucher and went, it was as our first time going. By far one of the tastiest meals I have ever had. Fantastic and ideal.
Would highly recommend for any occasion, worth the money.
Service is amazing.
Thanks to you all!
It is beautiful in the restaurant and good food.
Great restaurant for large groups, young people, my parents felt it was quite noisy but I enjoyed that element of it
Excellent food and service. We had a set menu, excellent value , sirloin steak was the nicest ive had. Service was excellent, just the right time gap between courses , ambience great .
Would never go back or recommend.
Ridiculous for the price of food and wine
We celebrated our anniversary here on Saturday night and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The lamb skewer were amazing! So good infact that they have encouraged a return visit!! I had the white chocolate & raspberry cheesecake for dessert (delicious) when it arrived at the table the chef had written 'Happy Anniversary' in chocolate sauce at the top of the plate! (Very nice touch)
Had the pre-theater menu, while I understand that this is a cheaper option, both myself and my husband ordered the 8oz steaks, cooked medium. When they came out they were extremely thin (I understand that its a small set menu steak) and very overcooked, which left it v tough. We had been really looking forward to our visit, as family had visited the week before and were raving about the quality of the meal, however that wasn't our experience.
Everything else about the visit was very good - ambiance, staff, surroundings - but overall we were left very disappointed with our experience
Fine restaurant and close to many of the top tourist spots. However, also has a significant local clientele. Overall a recommended night out whether on vacation or local.
Excellent staff , excellent service, excellent food. Will be back
The food was very good and service very quick too.
There was a noise in the restaurant which was a little bit disturbing while having a dinner.
The overall value of a set dinner was high.
This was a beautiful meal. The steaks ordered were cooked to absolute perfection.
We booked Fire for a Sunday night on a weekend trip to Dublin, and booked based on positive reviews suggesting it was a good top end, pricey, quality steak venue. They must've been having a bad day!
I have to say, the bar downstairs was lovely, and the bar man very friendly. I would go to the bar again.
Upstairs was a let down. I think the staff had been told off or something, as none of them seemed in a good mood. They seemed hectic and in a rush to get you served and turned out, and certainly not engaging - which we would expect of a high quality restaurant. One of the staff was rearranging tables and chairs, huffing and puffing and kicking the chairs around - not exactly ambience building.
Starters we ordered fish cakes, and french onion soup. The fish cakes were dry, the french onion soup was way too thick - you had to use a fork to eat it - and it had a plastic bottle cap in it!
The steaks came out about 5 minutes after the starters, and we were offered pudding as the main plates were taken away. Way too quick, felt more like a TGI Friday style service.
To be fair, the steak was nice. The wine was fine.
The manager did apologise, and the soup was taken off the bill, and a complimentary drink given.
I think my major gripe is not the plastic in the soup, or the hasty service - it was the fact that the price point and marketing is just set too high for what was a fairly good high street steak restaurant.
We paid a similar amount for a fine dining restaurant on the Friday, and it was on a totally different level. I wouldn't go back to Fire unless the prices were halved to suit the quality.
As always a great experience in Fire they cannot do enough for you
A great meal!
Plan the night out with my boyfriend at Fire Restaurant for a date.
As expected, the food was fab along with fantastic cocktails which I highly recommend for someone who's looking for good food / drink with good vibe
There is not atmosphere in the restaurant. It felt like sitting in a canteen. The echo of cutlery and talking. No music to soften the sound
Pre booked online. Attentive service upon arrival. Beautiful food, lovely cocktails & good service. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food and service loved the atmosphere and the cocktails steak was the nicest steak i have ever had
Food was from pre theatre menu-fantastic value
Food was plentiful and delicious
Waiting staff were attentive and friendly
Highly recommend Fire
The service was very good. Staff were friendly and efficlient. The food was disappointing. The fish cakes for starters were fine but a little bland. I had the rib eye steak for my main. It was really really fatty. My friend had the salmon and pasta. She thought it was flavourless. The ice-cream for desert was really nice.
The service was terrible. We looked up a lot of reviews and decided to go there for the steak and ambience and were severely disappointed by the poor service. The manager was kind and tried to accommodate us by removing items from the bill. It’s unlikely that we would return, given the cost for the service.
We waited so long for waiter to ask us for dessert that we ended up skipping and leaving. Very disappointing as dessert was part of the 39.95 EUR 3 course meal we each bought.
Very nice welcome, great organization with service, however once bill was paid there was no one saying thank you to goodbye, so but disappointed with that. There was no one at the restaurant area, lady downstairs too busy on the phone to even wave goodbye. Food was really good and waiters&waiter who was looking after us were superb at their job. Also have to mention gentleman named Rafal who welcomed us and came over during our dinner to check on us. In a very natural convinced my partner to get another drink :-) if not for disappointing end, as no one really acknowledged us leaving, it would be more stars for sure.
Really enjoyed the Fire experience, from the initial greeting to the Bar experience to the restaurant itself. Great variety and great prices. I prefer to see no supplements on a menu, its my one fault with the restaurant, even for the cheese at the end €5 is a bit too much to ask on a set menu price!!
Had a lovely evening for my husbands 50th birthday the food was beautiful very well presented and tasted fab and the staff acknowledged my husbands birthday and came out singing happy birthday and with his desert it was a lovely surprise for him will definitely go again
This is my 3rd visit to Fire and I'm always happy to recommend it to friends and family members.
Great location, warm welcome and a menu to suit everyone, I would imagine.
Had a fantastic birthday meal on Saturday . All the staff were excellent and attentive
