Service excellent although 2 main meals came out cold everyone else’s was fine
Me and my partner came to Dublin for the weekend
We was so happy we had pre booked this restaurant
We had a lovely time
Beautiful meal and then cocktails and music in the downstairs lounge after :)
Me and my friend had a great time there , we hope back soon.
We’ve been to Fire a few times now, and usually really like it. But our main course wasn’t great unfortunately this time round. We both ordered fillet steaks medium. They were over cooked and dry. And the mash was really stodgy. For the money you pay, it has really put us off going back. Shame, as we really enjoyed it before.
Table booked for 7pm,starters mains and dessert finished by 7.45pm, wasn't given a chance to digest one course and the next was out on. Felt rushed into finishing to probably accommodate and next sitting. Waiters were nice and don't think this was there fault but the food was out too fast and felt like a fast food restaurant rather than a nice restaurant. Food was lovely but no time to appreciate it. Spent €150 for dinner for two and would of gone back had the experience been more enjoyable.
It was a great experience since the beginning. Really good menu and wine list. Totally worth it. The only down side was that our dessert took so long to arrive that the ice cream came melted. But overall, great place and atmosphere and tasty food.
Enjoyable dinner at Fire - thoroughly enjoyed the house special king prawn starter and both the chicken and pork mains were very good.
Fire was an excellent restaurant with great drinks, food choices and wine list. I would strongly recommend this restaurant!
While the food was nice enough, not much ambience as the room is so big and dark, not in an ambient way either. Don't think it's worth the money. We had to order dessert with our other courses which is just wrong(even though it was off the set menu) and were never offered tea/coffee! Not the kind of place to linger over your food as it was pretty fast, early night and disappointed 😕
Incredible food and wine. Always disappoints. Highly recommend
This was a bit more upscale than we were expecting but still casual. The ambiance is lovely, it appeared to be a refurbished cathedral.
We were requested to gulp our dinner in two hours. The service was crap. The food was delicious. This is my fourth time in Fire restaurant but the worst experience given that I had very special guests this time. I would not recommend this venue for the weekend. Regrettably, nothing will be done with this review anyway. Just cashing the money, that is “Fire” I am afraid. Regards, Edwin Pijpers. Dublin.
This restaurant was highly disappointing. We originally walked by this and expected to get a modern dinner but ended up with bartenders and wait staff that didn’t know the menu or cared to serve us. We definitely don’t recommend this restaurant.
Lovely food and the staff was so friendly love every minutes I spend there
Absolutely brilliant restaurant, highly recommend for any occasion. The portions are huge - so come on an empty stomach !!!!
Just wanted a quality meal and night out and was not dissappointed. Service great, staff friendly, welcoming and helpful, and lovely food.
A great night out - the after meal drinks in the lounge were taken in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Superb night out.
Food and service were fantastic, we came from Newry for the weekend and enjoyed every minute of our time there. Highy recommend and we can’t wait to come back.
A wonderful restaurant with excellent food, service and atmosphere. Will definitely go back there if I go back to Dublin.
Fantastic setting with food to match. Great value.
The overall experience was good. We went for the sirloin steak which turned out to be very chewy. The venue and service saved the night.
Food nothing special, for price tag.
The service was fantastic and the food was top notch and very affordable.
Wonderful evening with great staff and hospitality. Provided my girlfriend with a great birthday experience.
Great food and service and ambiance, staff very attentive
Very disappointing. Nice venue / room but crowded. Food bland and dry and lacking in flavour. Crowded room. Gave feedback to manager re food and we didn’t see him again. Won’t be returning or recommending.
The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the staff are some of the most attentive and professional I've ever met, but we must have been unlucky on the night with our food (we went because many people recommended it to us). One steak main came out cold, a pasta main was undercooked and the fish starters were a bit underseasoned. I would give the place the benefit of the doubt and potentially go again based on everything else, but it was an expensive pity our meal wasn't as amazing as expected.
They surpassed all my expectations for my sons 21st birthday were so attentive and food was amazing!
Chose The 🔥 restaurant as a treat for my son before we went to see Hamlet at the Gate Theatre. Amazing food lovely staff. I will definitely be back when I go to Dublin again.
Food was great, service was very slow and not attentive. It seemed they might have been understaffed, but could not tell since we rarely saw our waitress. Once we managed to see a server, they were friendly just would liked to have seen them more often to order additional drinks.
ENJOYED THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE, LOCATION, VENUE AND FOOD.
We come here for family lunches. The staff are always wonderful (very friendly but not overbearing). Beautiful food. We love the atmosphere in the dining room and bar is simply great, with views over the garden. It's always hard to leave! Well done everyone. Chris McGarry
Great evening but unfortunately had to wait quite a while to seated. Also had a long delay at the bar to order drinks while waiting for the table!
Great food and service. Table looking out on Dawson Street - excellent.
Professional waiters, GREAT food, value for money. We almost fell in love with our waiter, she was only 21, but SO pleasant, smart, customerfriendly, knowledgeable,+++ Her supervisor also visited the table and was very warm and friendly.
Amazing food and staff, we felt so taken care of from start to finish and they made our anniversary one to remember. I will be back as often as I can.
Nice atmosphere but service wasn’t good , specially for the price paid. We had one order mistaken and another forgotten. Wouldn’t go back to the restaurant. To the bar, maybe
From the second we arrived outside the gates of the mansion house and Fire I knew it would be an amazing night. The location is beautiful inside and out and once inside the main dining area the extensive and Victorian era beauty is evident. Service was quick and excellent, wine experts pouring and answering questions while our fantastic waitress answered all of our questions pertaining to the menu. We started with the beer carpaccio and the Caesar salad which were very tasty aside from the crunchy onion bits on the beef. For mains I had the 10z ribeye and my fiancé had the in-house dry aged fillet which I was I had gotten because it was extraordinary. The depth of flavor was incredible and cooked to perfection. We finished the meal with the strawberry’s on champagne ice cream... insanely good but the true star of desert course was an amazing piece of cheesecake. It was topped with white chocolate shavings and had the most scrumptious graham cracker crust. Overall if you do not go to Fire on any trip to Dublin you are making a huge mistake. And if you are lucky enough to live on the Emerald Isle I highly recommend this for any nice night out. 13/10
Lovely meal. Great service. Earns its name as one of the best in they city.
The staff and the food were outstanding, and delicious , and my couple of friends who got married recently. They really enjoyed the overall experience especially the dessert plate with the bride and groom touch on as it was my present gift to dine with them.
