   It had been a number of years since I had been in Fire and was looking forward to a fantastic meal. The meal and evening we had was excellent but with a few caveats. The focus of the restaurant has changed and it , as named, is now very much a steakhouse. However the biggest change is it’s focus on tourists. It’s working , the place was jammed and I would say the majority of guests were from the US. Even down to the traditional US introduction from the server” hello I am xxxx, I will be your server tonight “ We didn’t taste the steaks but they must be excellent due to their price! A shared Côte de Boeuf for €99 is excessive even compared to more exclusive restaurants in Dublin. TBone €59.50 , again extreme. Even the filet was 10/20% over what you would pay elsewhere as was only a 6oz steak and was €45. I would expect an 8 oz for that price. But our meal was excellent , my guests goat cheese starter was wonderful , as was her stuffed tiger prawn main course and both appropriately priced c €12.50 and €33. . My oyster starter was good but I nearly did not eat them as the oysters were dry in their shells ( oysters normally come in their juices when served) ? I assumed they had just been plated up a bit earlier and I chanced them , they were lovely and I am alive this morning, so all good . My rack of lamb was also excellent . Both courses again reasonably priced. €15 and €37. It was just the steaks that seemed excessively dear…. US price range ? Wine list is good but again on the pricey side for what they were but we found some good wine on the house list. We enjoyed an excellent Côte de Rhône. Our server twice forgot to bring us more water., so that was disappointing. But other than that he was good and left us to ourselves which I like. Overall we enjoyed our evening, the food was excellent, ambience was good. By avoiding steaks our bill was not expensive . So all in all a positive experience but better for group dinner or potentially a business dinner.

   Very nice staff and the food delicious, but we had to wait more than 1 hour for our main course. We really enjoyed our dinner, 100% recommended, of course I’ll be back.

    Amazing food and really attentive staff, for dates and special occasions definitely the best spot to go! We came in for an early bird which was amazing value and the food was exceptional. Would recommend everyone to go and try it and will definitely be back. I would recommend booking indoor, as I had no idea it was a converted church! The architecture is definitely something to see

    Server was very accommodating and even led us to the terrace to take photos even lady at the bar offered. Amazing service and loved the food!! We might come back again when sunset is a earlier so we’ll have a different ambiance.

    It is always important to be treated as valued and we certainly felt this, with personal attention and a professional, helpful and courteous approach to ordering, and presentation of food and drinks. The food was of high quality, with just the right amount of waiting time between courses. Compliments to the chefs. Overall an enjoyable experience, and an encouragement to return.

    Great first impression, host was very warm and friendly, our server was also very attentive and friendly. Starters came quick and were tasty, steak was beautiful very soft and tasty as was the peppered cream sauce, however the butter sauce was a very odd taste and colour and texture, almost a cheesy flavour which wasn’t very pleasant. The room was extremely warm and made the overall experience a little unpleasant, we rushed our food and drinks so that we could leave to cool down, we were also sat in a corner right next to the serving station so the ambience wasn’t as good as it could have been. It was a hot day so not sure this was the fault of the restaurant but it did take away from the overall experience and would recommend some ways of cooling the restaurant down in hot weather.

    Dinner was amazing start to finish. From lady who sat us, to adriana our server, everything was first class. We received a special birthday and anniversary dessert plate that added so much to the evening. Food was 10/10. Thank you!!

    although we didn't complain because it was nice overall and staff was wonderful, the steak was rare (not medium rare), and sides were simply ok. Overall nothing special for the cost, and in no way compares to other steak houses I have been to. crew worked hard. special night but would not return as there are so many other top end choices.

    The main room was atmospheric and had a great energy as you walked in. The sharing 3 cuts of steak was superb, really didn’t need the sauces because it was so tasty. And they brought over a Happy Birthday mini dessert, just to finish the evening. Really enjoyed.

    The setting was stunning from the view of the front of the restaurant to inside. The is one of the best restaurants I have been to and the service was too class as well as the food!

    Food was lovely couldn't fault it. Service not good. Overcharged by 3 items on bill, reported same but only two items removed. Wasn't worth it to bring attention to it again. Paid bill and left.

    We had a reservation on a Sunday and availed of the 2 course early bird menu. My wife had chicken and I had sirloin and both meals were well presented and tasty. We also ordered the cauliflower gratin side dish, which was also very tasty. The service was also very good. The sides in my opinion do seem a bit expensive - €5.50. We also ordered a bottle of wine which we thoroughly enjoyed, however, some of the wines seem to be a bit on the expensive side. Despite my comments about the wine & sides, we would definitely return.

    It's nice but not as good as they like to think they are. Onion soup was excellent, rest was moderate - the food does not match the price point they charge. There's much better for the same price; there's places where food is as good where cost is a loss less. Not complaining, it is what is it, just an observation.
