   It was our first time at Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel and we’ll definitely be back! There was a lovely atmosphere in the dining room and the menu had something for everyone. We all enjoyed our meals which were delicious and generously portioned. Aoife our waitress was friendly and attentive. All in all a very enjoyable evening!

   One of the many great value pub dining venues in Fitzroy. Good food in a lovely setting (we ate in the dining room). Standout was fabulous and super friendly/attentive service. Overall high recommendation.

    I had emailed requesting to add a 7th guest to my booking but didn’t receive a reply so I assumed I couldn’t add this 7th guest and therefore didn’t invite them to join us. Upon arrival, we weren’t seated in the atrium as I had requested but instead seated in the dark and loud dining room with a 7th seat added. This was incredibly disappointing. The staff were rude and we had to ask for service. The steaks were not cooked as we had asked. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

    Second time in a row w my wife for dinner and food is just not up to scratch, first bad experience was off prawns and tonight’s bad experience was absolutely terrible at $220.00 for Cote de Beouf it was over cooked and drowned in a thick jus (I wonder why) also missing accompanying sauces and fries, salad was well over dressed bordering sloppy and servers where very scatty and the sad thing is the establishment was not busy!!! Last time not returning again. I should receive a refund.

    Steaks were overcooked of which one was inedible. The final bill was approximately $250 overcharged but there was a single sincere apology from the staff or manager. A disappointing experience overall and definitely will not be back.

    Intensely over serviced initially with 4 staff members trying to take our drinks/food orders when we really just needed a minute to sit down and catch up. Then it felt like we were a bit forgotten after that. I don't think we were the big boozy lunch they were expecting so the service depleted. The food was average and then 2 extra bottles of wine were accidentally added to the bill. Not great.

    Had a terrible experience. Booked the restaurant but got sat in a very noisy casual dining area. There were big tables of drunk people. Asked to move to a quieter area and got lumbered with the bar which was not table service. Ordered a bottle of wine which never came. When we ordered at the bar we were told there was only 1 till/ computer to place orders and there was a long cue. We walked out from sheer disappointment. Won’t go back.

    good selection of pub foods, love the steaks and Sunday roasts, tap beers options are good, the waiting time for the foods and drinks are tad slower than usual, this is probably the one I would recommend to improve, other than this I would recommend.

    I was expecting a lot better. Ordered soft drinks - no bubbles - flat coke and lemon lime and bitters. Asked for a replacement and got the same again - flat. Felt it wasn't worth asking again. Ordered Scotch Fillet - medium. It was well done. I am giving you feedback because you asked for it. I don't want a response.

    A gastro pub, with a good menu. The pub has different areas, I sat in dining room which was nice. The front bar area has many tables to sit a have a meal and beverage. The service was attentive and helpful. Good choice for family or special occasions

    What can one say about the Fitzroy Town Hall in 2022. What a freaking mess. Firstly the manager was rude and useless. The service was so slow and disorganized. And I don’t think we should be charged $7 per slice for the cake we brought when we are spending over $800 on food and drink. Over all, it’s a no from me.

    If you are looking for great food in a friendly and relaxed Pub atmosphere, this is the place to go. We were a group of 6 and each person raved about the quality of the food and the service was friendly and efficient. Whilst the venue certainly isn't isolated, it is good that it is out of the mad Brunswick St strip, but close by if you are looking for to kick on late.

    We love the FTH, it's our "local" even though we aren't locals. We love the fact that there are no Pokies and that this a serious foodie pub. My only crit.--and I've said it before-- is the lack of variety in desserts.

    4 Diners .. We all had steak and enjoyed it thoroughly. Like many Melbourne establishments they were a little rattled with inexperienced staff so be a little patient. Not withstanding the wait staff were friendly and polite and tried hard . Linen napkins would be an improvement. Cheers… We will be back

    Food and service was great, we'll be back! It was loud in the room because of a large group next to us celebrating someones birthday but other than that it was perfect.
