Flanagans Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
I found the lunch menu quite bland and the food wasn't very hot. Also there was not enough potatoes or veg on the plate, one mash only and a teaspoon of cabbage. The manager however did rectify but more than one person at the table left still hungry. The staff were attentive and polite but the food needs to be better and more imagination added.
Booked a table on line-easy. Door man greeted us and was friendly. We were a little early table wasn’t quite ready but sorted in seconds. Ordered drinks which came quickly. Food order taken. Food arrived in good time. Wonderful food nicely presented and hot. Staff lovely. Great place to eat.
We had a reservation for 11 family members for a 25th wedding anniversary celebration and found the staff very friendly. Everyone of us had something different and the food was all perfect.
I would recommend "Flanagan's" to everyone and we're all looking forward to dining there again.
Thank you to all the staff that made our special occasion a very happy memory
Arrived to find that the booking hadn't arrived at the restaurant. However, this was no trouble and after a 10 minute wait a table was sorted. Service was good and the food was excellent. A great variety of food to choose from and all exceeded expectations. The meal was topped off with a free shot for the inconvenience!! Thank you for you hospitality!!
Made feel very welcome on our arrival and were quickly showed to our table. The waitress promptly took our drinks orders and we were left to browse the menu without feeling rushed.
The food was amazing, the restaurant itself was full which indicates how good it was. The price was reasonable we thought and if we visit Dublin again this place will definitely be top of our list for dining
While I can't fault the food or friendliness of the staff, the service myself and my partner experienced on a hectic occasion such as Valentine's Day was not up to scratch. We waited almost 30 minutes for our meal to be served and were overcharged with the wrong bill, twice. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good restaurant but can be frustrating when going at a busy period.
Went here for a quite meal for my Fiances birthday and he really likes this place. Food was lovely, as usual, and the staff were also very nice. It's just a pity as I made a reservation through Opentable and even received a confirmation email and then a reminder email the day before but when we arrived at the restaurant they didn't have any record of the reservation. Luckily we got a table pretty quick but it kind of goes against the whole point of making a reservation..!
This was my first time here I was with my mother and sisters . The staff were very welcoming and the manageress was very helpful as we had luggage with us and it was a busy Saturday afternoon but she found room for our cases. The food was excellent and the menu suited all our needs as my mother likes traditional food. I will certainly be back and would recommend it to friends
We went here on the occasion of our Dad's birthday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were attentive and patient with our baby and made for a lovely dining experience!! We could recommend this restaurant for a family get together or special occasion! Great value, tasty food and wine!
I booked this reservation for my birthday and the service was terrible. It took 20mins to get a glass of water. we had to ask for things like ketchup an average of three times before the finally bring it to us. Then the waiters gave us dirty looks because we had the audacity to ask. I ate here three years ago and loved it so much that I wanted to have a special dinner there. What can I say ... mistakes were made. Never again
We went for a family meal for an aunts birthday as my parents have eaten here a few times and enjoyed it. 6 out of the 8 of us ordered starters 3 of these were the garlic mushrooms but 2 were stone cold... It was easy to see that they were not fresh mushrooms instead they were frozen. These were taken from frozen and quickly fried then served, so when they arrived at the table the inside was cold and rubbery, what you would get from frozen mushrooms.
The staff were very helpful and replaced them straight away and the manger was straight over to apologise which was appreciated but for the price of the food this shouldn't happen!
