    This was our first time back since the remodel. We liked the changes. I would recommend something in the entrance across from the park that directs people to the entrance by the hotel to check in. We had no idea that the check-in entrance had changed. The food was delicious and our server, Kyle, was very attentive.

    There were six of us and everyone raved about their food. The server had difficulty with getting drinks to us and got them confused. Was pleased that our water glasses remained full during dinning. I had crab cakes and my husband had the New York strip with the mac and cheese and it was DELICIOUS! We needed to make changes on our reservation and tried calling two days prior and left messages twice (at different times of day in hopes to not interrupt during busy hours) and no one ever responded.

    What a wonderful evening celebrating the re-opening of Flint in the Colcord Hotel with Kim and our son Brooks Meyer as the wonderful bartender he is for the evening. Flints whiskey and wine list as well as the spirits they have on hand behind the bar, leaves no discriminating wine or whiskey aficionado wanting more. The food was outstanding and some of the best creole dishes I have ever eaten my entire life! I said it, my life. The evening started with fried green tomatoes that could only be rivaled by my sister’s Jill Taylor. They where lightly breaded and came with a creamy jalapeño remoulade drizzled on the plate with a chow-chow on the side. Also for starters we had oysters from the cold waters off the Pacific Northwest. They were perfect with a grilled lemon, homemade cocktail sauce and horseradish. For our dinner we split the Low country seafood boil and the chef brought me a sampling of their Gumbo. Well, as everyone knows I make the best gumbo on the planet so my expectations are set at a very high bar. Well it’s hard for me to say but it way exceeded my expectations. One of the best in my humble opinion. The seafood boil was packed with Green Lip Mussels- Gulf Shrimp Andouille Sausage | New Potatoes Roasted Corn | Spicy Garlic Butter And Snow Crab Claws and we added a Lobster Tail bathed in garlic butter. I literally almost lost consciousness at this point in the meal as the Chef presented us with one of her signature desserts, a creamy whipped banana pudding that words can’t describe but your tastebuds will thank you for!! One of the best New (reopening) restaurants in our area. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

    My experience with Flint was amazing I loved every bit of it I sit next to the fire pit hidden inside of the glass right behind the bar the food was amazing and my waiter was just as amazing making sure I was comfortable and catering to everything and all of my needs!

    Service for a party of 2 was less than expected. Food was sent back after receiving it warm. Second time back was not hot either but we ate it. Paid our bill and left. Just expect a little more for a $200 tab. 1.5 hours for dinner is long.

    Seemed understaffed. Waitress did not come to the table much, didn't let us know there were specials....however she was very nice. I had the Sink Omelette and the cheese was missing in the omelette. The rest of our food was delicious.

    The Charcuterie board was a great appetizer. My husband enjoyed the 14 oz Ribeye and I had the Gnocchi and Tenderloin. Both were fantastic. We had the triple chocolate cheesecake and it did not disappoint. Overall, a great place for a date night. We will be back!

    Great experience. Our server was attentive and responsive. Food was very good. We both had fish dishes...mine was Halibut and had a nice flavor and was perfectly prepared. My guest had the sea bass and said it was delicious. No complaints.

    I had to return the eggs Benedict. The yolks were hard instead of soft. By the time they replaced the eggs, the English muffin and ham were cold. I also asked for fruit instead of potatoes and of course got potatoes. Additionally, the place was about 60 percent full when we arrived with reservations. We had to wait ten minutes before someone came to the station to welcome us and check our reservation. Then we waited thirty minutes after ordering before we were served. Neither of the two dinners my husband and I ordered needed roasting or grilling. Only a cooktop. They either need more chefs or fewer customers.

    We enjoyed our experience at Flint. The food was great and the service was as well. Since I indicated we were celebrating our anniversary, it would have been nice to get a better table and maybe even a little something to acknowledge that, but other than that, it was a great experience.

    Booked a 10:15 am for 2. Immediately was sat and waitress was prompt to welcome us and take our drink orders. But then we just sat waiting, and waiting with no word… finally at 11:00 we asked about the status of our order since we had a graduation in Norman to get to… her response was “ it shouldn’t be too, too, too much longer” and quickly walked away. We didn’t feel great about that answer so we waved her down to get an explanation of exactly what that meant. It was a good 5- 10 mins more before she finally returned to tell us it was gonna be at least 20 minutes more for our food. We had to leave. Paid $22 for valet parking and left hungry. Understand if they were short staffed. If they had just told us that when we were seated, we would have known it probably wasn’t going to work for us. And it would have saved both parties a lot of frustration!

    Flint is obviously being impacted by the lack of workers in the service industry. We had an amazing server, but waited nearly an hour and a half for food that came out cold and subpar quality. The staff was helpful and comped one of our meals, but it was still severely disappointing to deal with that. The restaurant wasn’t even half full, but you could tell it was intentional as they couldn’t keep up with what was there.
