   My daughter and I were celebrating her birthday. We both liked what we ordered: Short Ribs , Veal Scallopini, Caesar salad. Noise level was higher than I would have liked, but we were able to converse. The box of chocolates for her birthday were delicious. I will definitely go there and order some candy there. My only dislike was the Cosmo I had. It tasted as if it had no Vodka but a lot of cranberry juice. I would want it the other way around. It was one of the worse ones Ive ever had.

   We were told our reservations were only made for 2. This survey shows it was correct for 4. We were seated but told we had to finish within an hour cause they had reservations for that table. We hurried thru everything but it would had been nice to get to actually relax and not feel rushed. Maybe look at a dessert menu. The food was excellent and the waitress did what she could do hurry us along to get thru but also made sure to remind us of our limited time. Not sure if this was an open table mistake or the restaurant’s mistake. Glad they sat us still because the good was fabulous.

   We ate in the bar area -much nicer ambiance than the main room. We had the recommended wines with swordfish, the beef short rib, and focaccia. All were delicious. Service was attentive and at a nice pace. As others mention, their seating is not very comfortable, but the high top stools seem better than the regular dining room chairs.

    Michelle took great care of us. We had a few new-to-Forno visitors with us. Everyone was super pleased, all the way from appetizers to dessert.

    Overly noisy and cacophonous could do with some sound dampening inestment. A nice level of conversation buzz is a big plus. Comments are only to say it could benefit from a bit of a reduction in the harshness due to the hard floor and lowish ceiling

    The Tuesday night bolognese offer is a remarkable value. Excellent pasta, sauce, huge salad, great presentation. Knowledgeable server -- knew her wine list as well as the food. Everyone friendly without being at all cloying. We're it not for the noise level (which was not terrible, but mildly challenged conversation for a table of four), it'd been a near-perfect evening.

    We had the halibut special but asked if we could have puttanesca sauce with it. Our server checked and the Chef agreed. It was delicious!! Our server Cindy was excellent and suggested a great bottle of wine!

    Food was delicious and our waitress was very knowledgeable and provided good service considering how busy it was. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars was the close proximity of all the tables and the lack of comfort of the wooden chairs. Would definitely recommend!

    Food was good. Limited menu, would have liked a few more chicken options. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Sat near the pizza oven. Server was friendly and attentive. Will go back again and recommend. The wild mushroom risotto was great.

    Cindy was our waitress and she was fabulous! She knew everything about the menu and the history of Forno and the two other sister restaurants. She didn’t rush us! She remembered everything, checked on us regularly but it didn’t feel “too much”. Food and the atmosphere was amazing! We will definitely be going back.

    My wife and I prepaid for Valentines Day dinner including a tip. It was crowded and hectic but we were seated fairly quickly. My wife's dinner arrived at the table barely warm. We did not see our server for a bit so I asked the manager to to please take it back to the kitchen and warm it up. We waited a long time as the restaurant became more hectic and the reheated food did not return. Finally we caught the attention of our server and explained that the manager had taken the food back to the kitchen but never returned. Our server was never told of the problem and apologized. At that point we were frustrated and ready to leave. The manager eventually returned to the table and apologized stating he forgot about the food and had not told our server about the issue. He offered to comp our entire bill and I told him that wasn't necessary but he insisted. He stated that even though we prepaid he could return the cost of the meal to us. Before we left our server did return my wife's warmed up meal in a to go box. I felt bad for the server because he had not been told about the issue and gave him a $40 tip. We were of course never reimbursed for the meal. The manager shouldn't promise something he couldn't deliver.

    Extremely underwhelmed with our first (and last) Forno experience. My wife and I made a reservation for Valentine's Day. We walked in a few minutes before our reservation and were instructed to wait alongside 5-7 other couples while "tables were cleared". 15 minutes later we were walked to a small table that was placed in the main walkway (presumably only there for the special occasion). We had multiple servers throughout the three courses and none of them took any interest in our table. Wine was brought out for the second course while we still had the first course on the table. Plates were cleared before we were finished. Entrees were lukewarm at best. Servers constantly bumped our table and had full conversations over our dinner. For a $200 dinner, we expected far more in terms of service, coordination and hospitality.

    We had the fixed menu and wine pairing for Valentines Day. Excellent food. My only complaint is inconsistency. Our first course cane out about the same time as a couple who came in 15 minutes after us. Bread serving was half of other tables nearby and wine pours were inconsistent as well.

    For my husband’s 60th birthday, we joined another couple for dinner here. The place was full of delightful, happy conversation. Our waitress Michelle was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Our food was all delicious. We had gnocchi, cod, bolognese, carrots and eggplant parmesan. Dessert was chocolate deliriousness! A wonderful evening for sure. We will be back.
