As we chart a course for the survival of our restaurants, this dine-in only charge helps us feed laid-off workers and covers pandemic-related expenses, including PPE.

We came for our anniversary. The food was delicious as always. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers and two wonderful main dishes. However the service was very slow. When our appetizers were delivered, we had not been given utensils. We waited a good 5 minutes before they were delivered. We watched in disbelief as our server visited just about every table in his section before retrieving our forks and knives.
Even though I put anniversary on the reservation, there was no acknowledgement whatsoever. Most restaurants would at the very least say “happy anniversary”.
Love the atmosphere and smell of the bakery. The food was a little disappointing. I got the roasted turkey and mashed potatoes. Green beans were great. But mashed potatoes did not look homemade looked and tasted like out of a box or something... the roasted turkey was tough and not juicy. I honestly could’ve made way better turkey and mashed potatoes in my own kitchen. Wasn’t worth $20.
We completely forgot that if you go on the weekend you’re forced to order the brunch buffet. The vegetable lasagna was so terrible I had to spit it out like Tom Hanks did the caviar in the movie “Big.” The hashbrowns and the mashed potatoes were really good. Once we got served, the service was great.

So pleased to see that the buffet is available although you are served by the staff members. Wonderful selections. Extremely delicious. Server was pleasant but forgot to deliver coffee after requested....not a major issue.

The waiter was friendly and engaging. Everything around very quickly and smoothly, the food was perfect.
Founding Farmers always hits the spot! The ambiance is so romantic with the low lighting, the drinks are amazing, the food is incredible and SO many choices on the menu. This is our "special occasion" place of choice. We love it and always enjoy our time here!

I did not enjoy my experience at Founding Farmers. The restaurant was empty due to capacity restrictions from Covid and yet it took 10 min to be greeted, much longer wait to get our appetizers and Main course, took almost 20 min to get our desserts. It seemed like my family and I spent more time waiting around then enjoying our meal. Thoroughly disappointed.
Eating outside was wonderful. Great shade, nice breeze (for Northern Virginia in July). Attentive service.

It was excellent food and a great time.
Second time visiting and the service was on par per usual. The waiter even went above and beyond when my husband accidentally dropped his appetizer and she brought out a new one free of charge! Our lunch was fantastic. Highly recommend eating here.
Great menu and ambiance but our server was very inattentive.
This is the only location among the Farmers that I had a poor experience at.
The indoor space consists of several large rooms but staff felt it was important to seat customers in the section where the A/C was not working in the middle of a hot summer day. When we mentioned our discomfort to our server, he curtly offered to sit us outside, implying the A/C was not working anywhere in the restaurant (even though there was a room with functional A/C). The food was fine but the service (which felt more like a favor than something we were paying for) did not get better. We waited over 45 minutes to get two salads without any explanation or excuse for the delay.

Made a reservation for indoor seating, and when we arrived they tried to sit us outside. When we said we made reservations for indoor seating they made us wait another 30 mins while setting others in front of us.
Nonetheless, the food was great as usual.
Everything was wonderful! The food was great. James, our server was very nice. Everyone had masks and I felt very safe. Will definitely visit again!

The food was good. It was better prior to the COVID restrictions. We weren't disappointed, but when we left it wasn't as satisfying as it has been in the past

They had many outside tables ... the seating outside was under shade so we were not hot! Our evening was very pleasant! Our host and server was amazing and did everything they could to keep us happy and safe using all the precautions possible during this unprecedented time. Overall experience was great and definitely will go back!
It was my closing on a first home so me and my friend and agent was having a lunch. It was great.
THIS PLACE WAS TERRIBLE!! The food was disgusting and we ordered a lobster ravioli as one of the entrees and the smell was so bad that we lost our appetites and couldnt even eat our food. Not to mention the price is high for worthless food i wouldnt even eat for free.

Unfortunately, the service was much worse than that I’ve come to expect at Founding Farmers. I understand that social distancing is putting an additional strain on the wait staff, but my party had to wait an hour to be seated after our reservation and then another 30 minutes to be served water or be greeted. The reservation was for indoors. -!: we were seated outside.
Many of the food items we were served were cold or were disappointing; I would say below the quality that Founding Farmers expects. The only option for us to do was the brunch buffet, and I don’t feel that we got enough value for the food we were served.
This was a horrible experience. We had reservations for 11:45 am and were not seated until 1:00pm. We then waiting about a half an hour for drinks. We ordered our food and were brought 4 shrimp and 4 mini pancakes for a table of three people. We waited another 30 minutes and decided to leave. Such a horrible dining experience!

Great food and staff!! Loved the experience especially during this pandemic the staff were practicing social distancing and wearing protection gear.
Loved our server Milan, he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks were amazing! Unfortunately there were not many vegan options or opportunities to substitute, which we expected because of it being a farm to table restaurant. We would have appreciated some music for the patio as well. Overall we had a great time and would recommend dining here!
First time at FF. First dine-in restaurant in months. FF was ready to meet all needs. Food was great. Service was great. Price was reasonable.
