After years of working Downtown Indianapolis, Executive Chef/Owner Jake Burgess decided to come home and open an establishment that delivered the style of service and quality of food he had become accustomed to. FoxGardin is tucked away on quaint Main Street in Fortville.

Minutes to Geist, Fishers, Klipsch Music Center, and I-69, and only 25-30 from downtown Indy, FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale is a perfect spot to sneak away, while still being close to everything!

We requested to sit upstairs at the bar and they actually reserved two seats for us! The halibut and burger were outstanding; we’ve never had a bad meal here. Love the bourbon selection and the upstairs bartenders make great old fashioneds!

We probably got the worst table in the establishment. It was in a corner, right behind the bathroom and in front of the kitchen. There was a ton of traffic and my wife could smell the bathroom air freshener the entire time. I wanted to love this place, but this table shouldn't be an option. Next time, we will just walk in and eat at the bar. We made the best of it, but it could have been much better. Beware this table!!!!!

We always have a wonderful time at Foxgardin - never had a bad meal there. This most recent visit however (9/15) was another level of amazing. Like, without a doubt one of the best meals I have had in such a long time. I decided to stray from my usual and try the duck confit with risotto and bacon glazed brussel sprouts and HOLY MOLY, it was out of this world. Absolutely fantastic food. Can't wait to go back. I might be heartbroken if the duck isn't on the menu haha! Thanks again to the Foxgardin team!
