   2 mixed drinks , couldn't be done as no ingredients, no Corona so settled for a Coors. Was supposed to get soup as starter ,that never appeared either. Waiter did his best to avoid checking on us . As a 75th birthday dinner with 2 out of town guests. This was a poor display overall. In no hurry to return at all.

   Frank and Gino's was quite busy with diners of all ages but we were seating quickly and our server (Ray) was was great. Good food, good value and good service!

   we had reservations for 615pm arrived 10 mins early and was seated right away. Drink orders were taken and came quickly. 6 of us ordered and all the food came out together , hot and fresh. Dessert was amazing , I would recommend the sticky toffee pudding. Our waitress Jolie was amazing, quick, funny and never made us feel rushed.

    My spouse and I started doing Friday night date night and we loved our night at Frank and Gino's. The food was good, the pizza I had was amazing and reminded me of the pizza I ate in Italy. For a small town Italy restaurant it does wonders for an enjoyable night out. The atmosphere was conducive to having a quiet conversation and the decor is pleasing. Our server Alana was exceptional and so attentive and she had a marvellous sense of humour. A positive experience and we will definitely be back for future date nights.....

    From the time we walked in we were treated as if we were family, the food was excellent and the service was high standard. it was fairly busy but we received our food in the right amount of time and our host took us to our table and we ordered drinks which were served promptly. our waitress checked back several times to see if we needed anything. Overall our visit was great.

    The meal was Luke warm which made the pasta rubbery and the broccoli was tough. Salad was good as was the bread. Perhaps it was just an off night or they were short staffed but not one of the best meals I have had there.!!

    Great value for money. Out for a birthday dinner-reservations a must. Restaurant maintaining Covid regulations, not all tables filled (usually the place is packed with wait lines). Ordered a main entree -small portion. Loaf of fresh bread, wedding soup, chicken carbonara. Generous amt of chicken, mushrooms & bacon in main course. My favourite place to eat in Truro!

    It was a good experience overall despite how busy it was. The wait for giving our order was somewhat longer than usual, but we were aware how busy it was. The waiter was apologetic which was appreciated

    It was our first time visit - an opportunity to meet up with friends we haven't seen for a long time. They recommended it and I'm glad we came. It was a very pleasant experience. Other than the fact that the lights are too low for my aging eyesight and I had to use my cell phone to read the menu, it was just fine for a luncheon date. We would come again.

    Great spot for a first date! Our waiter Mike was great, and patient with us as we took a long time before we actually ordered, and checked in often to see if we were ready. When we said we had just met, and on a first date he showed interest in where we were from and how our evening was going etc. Definitely helped lighten the moment for sure. We will definitely be back for another date. And Mike, we're requesting you as our waiter! Haha

    The food portions are very generous and very good. The salad was fresh and crunchy. The pasta dishes were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful as we had diet restrictions to consider. This restaurant was recommended to us and we now know why. Will definitely return.

    The service was the only thing that ruined our visit. It was the first day of mandatory 2×vaccinations and our server would pull down her mask everytime she got to a table. Never greeted us. The first words she said was "What do you want to drink" and that was less than a minute after sitting. She also took every order with a pile of dirty dishes in hand and never wrote anything down. Ended up only every bringing me water and had to come take my order a 2nd time because she couldn't remember it (because she didn't write it down!). She also never smiled in the full time we were there. Not very pleasant atmosphere. There were loads of empty tables and they shoved all guests into one corner so it felt crowded and uncomfortable. I will be back because the food is great and a good price, but they seriously need better servers... hostess was lovely though!

    Our waitress was nice but she brought my husband the wrong entrée he ordered lasagna and got some thing with feta cheese all over it which he hates she checked and she did write down lasagna but somehow brought out the wrong thing and offered to change it but it would be at least a 20 minute wait and we would have been done so he scraped off all the feta and picked at it. Thought it might reflect in the bill but no she charged him full price crazy we won’t be back hi yes please yeah thanks you too thank you

    It did take 40 minutes for the food to arrive after we ordered and we weren’t offered bread until after we had already finished however we all enjoyed our food. The waitress we had seemed to have a very negative additive and made us feel very unwelcome and ostracized but she got the job done. Hopefully better service next time.

    food was bland, only vegetraian choice on the 9.99 noon menu. so you should know what was order looked good but wasnt't low level flavour.

    Good value for your money. Atmosphere was okay, not really warm and inviting. When reservation was made, chose date night, was hoping for something a bit more intimate, if that isn't available then shouldn't be offered.

    The experience was bad from the start. We made a mistake when making our reservation. We made the mistake of booking in your other location in Truro. Your staff only could seat 4 of us at first but was told we would get a second table in about 10 minutes which was fine. The rest of our party sat in their vehicle waiting and was told they would get a call when a table was available. 4 tables become available after we got the first table but the rest of our party did not get seated. We called them ourselves to come back as another table became available. It took 10 minutes for the server to take the drink order and then another 15 minutes before we ordered our dinner. Your lasagna was highly recommended so that's what I ordered. It was burnt when it arrived. Also, it was very over priced for the size of lasanga. I was very disappointed with my experience at your establishment and felt that for what we paid for the dinner, we should have had a much better experience .

    The food and service was good, my wife’s Cesar was undrinkable, told our server and was offered not to pay for it but we did, just wanted to let them know and look up how to make a Cesar! We were told we weren’t the first to complain.

    Totally understand the covid protocols but don't understand why they took forever to even take our drink order, we were not finished one course and they were putting the next one in front of us. Then no dishes taken away. Had no room to even eat. Service was not what we are used to there
