Frankie's Italian Chophouse, where Italian family tradition meets innovation and passion meets expertise. Established by Frank Schittino, a seasoned restauranteur in north east St. Petersburg, this culinary gem is an extension of his long-standing success at Cafe Cibo's, a beloved local Italian eatery since 1999. Motivated by his deep connection to this community, Frank's desire to create a second restaurant was fueled by his passion for exquisite meats, fine wines, and authentic Italian cuisine. Together we've created a welcoming family/fine dining experience while serving high end steaks, seafood, veal, and traditional Italian dishes. We feature live music Wednesday through Saturday and offer food and beverage specials throughout the week.

The menu is extensive- a must for meat eaters, but the linguine with clams is also delish! Service is super, and the wine list is great too!

I overall enjoyed my night at the restaurant. They had a singer walking around singing Sinatra. My date's chicken dish was delicious. Unfortunately, my veal chop marsala was over cooked. The part of the veal chop that was pounded thin was dry and tough (well done), the part next to the bone was cooked medium, this part was tender. Too bad the majority of the veal chop was pounded thin :( I had a veal chop marsala at a private club in NYC. That was cooked medium throughout the whole chop because it was pounded thin.

We went for New Years Eve. Everything about Frankies was wonderful. We rarely say that about a restaurant, but in this case it is definitely warranted. We were seated at the time of our reservation, the waiter was attentive, and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

We went to Frankie's for New Year's Eve. We were rushed to eat our meal. We specifically asked the server to wait on bringing our next course. He did it anyway. I hadn't even started my salad when he brought the main course. After our meal, we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. They never came. Apparently, the disgruntled server said my husband had too much to drink. He had 3 beers. He is handicap from a motorcycle accident so walks with a limp. Especially, after sitting for a long period of time then getting up. One might think he's swaying and drank too much. So sad this happened. We will not be back!
