   The food is truly exceptional and the staff are so awesome. It’s has a quaint NOLA feel to it. There is a lot of construction in front right now so parking is a bit of an issue. And it’s a little pricy But it’s worth it!!!

   The food was delicious, and they accommodated my request for an addition to my salad. Good wine, great BBQ shrimp pie, and the duck was so tender and flavorful. Wait staff is friendly and helpful, if a bit stretched thin. I highly recommend Gabrielle.

    Chose to come to Gabrielle’s for dinner and it was outstanding!!! My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement and had some of the best food in New Orleans. Highly recommend!

    I was seated next to a table of 4 people. Soon after I sat down one of the men started ranting, swearing at his companions, loud and completely obnoxious. My waiter came over to me and offered me a new table away from the disturbance and I gladly moved. Later when that party left, the offensive guy said “f you” as he walked by me. Clearly deranged person. The staff were wonderful to me and my companion. Thanks!

    This must be one of the best restaurants in town—definitely my new favorite! Everything we ordered was delicious and obviously prepared with care. The prices were reasonable considering the quality, and portions were generous without being excessive. Friendly service and atmosphere. They also surprised us with a complimentary slice of pie & ice cream for my birthday. I love that it's a small family business and refreshingly unpretentious.

    Always amazing. Chef Greg Sonnier is always in the kitchen and it shows. We had the BBQ Shrimp Pie, Oysters Gabie, Crab Bisque and the Double Cut Pork Chop. All were as good as ever and the pork chop was the juiciest chop I’ve ever had. If you’ve never been, put it on your list. Bon appetite!

    The food is interesting and excellent. The downside is the neighborhood. Best to take a cab or an Uber. Also, there is a fairly low ceiling and hard surfaces so it is an extremely noisy restaurant. The sound level cut into our enjoyment considerably. We highly recommend the , charcuterie platter, and the double cut pork chop

    Just a *fantastic* meal. We loved it so much we tried to get in a second time during our stay in NOLA (alas, they were booked full). For the first course we got the duck fat fries with remoulade, followed by a creamy crab bisque and warm goat cheese salad with fresh bread. Delicious! These were followed by an extraordinary round of main courses that we shared family style. My husband ordered the filet of beef, my daughter chose slow roasted duck and I chose the veal roulade. All were wonderful, but the duck was definitely the star of the show. Succulent, not too fatty, with a perfectly crisped skin on a bed of mushrooms and dirty rice... absolutely incredible! Service by Parisian native Mr. B was first rate. Clearly the waitstaff know their stuff and are meticulous with service. We never lacked for anything, didn't feel rushed but well cared for. Gabrielle is only open Thurs-Sat, and the restaurant is small with only about 14 tabletops. I would highly recommend reservations.

    I have dined at Gabrielle numerous times through the years at both the old and current locations, and have never been disappointed. It is truly a hidden gem in the city, and arguably may serve the finest food without being pretentious. The wait staff is always on point - courteous, knowledgeable and well paced while covering any and every need. The duck is is legendary for a reason, and the BBQ Shrimp Pie may well be the best bite of food one eats their lives. Other offerings change, but always maintain the same quality and unique flair. Gabrielle is always my go to whenever I am in New Orleans, and will choose it every time over the better known locations (Commander's, Arnaud's, Galatoire, etc). Truly the best of the best.

    One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Gumbo was next level. Duck perfectly cooked. Had some bean stew dish (can’t recall the name) with crawfish, lobster, fried oyster and scallops). The cherry chocolate homemade ice cream was out of this world. Excellent service. Attentive but not intrusive. Haven’t been in a while but definitely adding to the rotation. Highly recommend.

    The food here was amazing, and the service was even better! Our server was friendly and perfectly attentive. We definitely enjoyed our meal here. The dining room is the perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner, business meal, or dinner with friends. I recommend making the trip to check this place out. We had the BBQ Shrimp Pie, Roasted Beet Salad, Traiteur Fish, and Fish Special of the Day. All delicious!

    It was our second time there, and we had the same server, B(?). He was fantastic, and when he offered dessert I mentioned that we were almost late for a show so he got the check for us right away. The food is outstanding, and the atmosphere really feels like a European bistro.
