   Food was mezza mezza but it was fun to try a traditional Irish potato dish which is why we went.

   This was phenomenal. Wonderful food and service. Aside from the melancholy thinking about how Anthony Bourdain’s recommendation was what helped me discover the restaurant, and that he’s no longer with us, everything was perfect.

   Very good food but the portion of lamb beef was too small according to my boyfriend. But in general very good place and its must to see it.

   Fantastic dinner out celebrating my sister’s birthday. The food was absolutely delicious in every course. Each time I visit Dublin I will be visiting.

    Food was great. However the server just plain sucked! Other than waiting forever for drinks and food the place was good. I saw other waitresses doing a good job so I will probably go back.

    Fun staff, amazing food! The boxty appetizer platter was a great start to the meal. The stew sampler was like a warm Irish hug.

    Delicious dinner on our first night in Dublin for St. Paddy's Day weekend. A calm refuge in the midst of the mayhem of the Temple Bar neighborhood. Fantastic food and entertaining people watching through the windows onto the main street. So glad we made reservations!

    Over priced meals that are labeled genuine Irish, but is no more Irish than any other restaurant in Ireland. Then to be told to add a gratuity to the final check! It’s basically a temple bar tourist trap where foreigners think they are getting something special when they are not. A shameful way to represent Ireland.

    Great double fried fries! Potato leek soup is very filling. I didn’t like the pickled cabbage under the steak. Goat cheese and beet appetizer great.

    Very nice dinner, first time having “Boxty” which I think is actually just potatoes made all different ways. We got the boxty sharing platter which had gnocchi, bruschetta and fries- the chowder was ok, not as good as New England. The Gaelic boxty was amazing, steak medium was perfect and the sticky toffee pudding was average. They have an in-house beer, we tried the IPA and the red, both were good. I really like that they bring you the bill and let you write your tip in before they bring the machine.

    We went for a family meal for our daughter's birthday. I wasn't sure what to expect being in the centre of Temple Bar, but we had such a lovely night. Our server Georgio was fantastic. We had a really lovely evening. The atmosphere was great, and everyone had a wonderful time.

    Food was outstanding-Boxty and boxty are the epitome of Ireland. Service was excellent-ask for Mike-we had such an interesting chat with him about everything from best pubs to weekend brunch to opera. Must eat in Dublin.

    Thanks for everything, food was tremendous only thing was the early bird was very limited, they didn't have the gluten free IPA beer in stock unfortunately, the beef and stout casserole contained wheat so was unable to have that, I understand the wheat is in the stout..shame it couldn't be substituted with something else like salmon or lamb boxty..which is the same price as the chicken boxty from the a-la-carte menu, I didn't think it would have been too much of a problem.. everything else was pretty nice..Great atmosphere, quite busy, even at 4 o clock in the afternoon

    Once again another lovely meal. We visited back in 2021 and was served by georgio who was fantastic and to our surprise he served us again tonight and remembered who we were. Georgio is an asset to this place and would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for making us feel welcome again. Highly recommend the stew platter and the sharing platter to start all was perfect
