    We had the most wonderful dinning experience. The table service food and attention was fantastic. Unfortunately I was miss-gendered at the checkout wich ruined the what was to have been a special occasion for us. Suggest you put some effort in to your diversity training for your staff.

    All the food was superb, fresh and well cooked. The grilled scallops were sensational and the coral trout just what I needed. Wine was reasonably priced and delicious. Lovely date night with my husband!

    Booked this for my husband’s birthday and we’re not disappointed - service was fantastic as was the food. Ordered the hot and cold seafood platter and everything was perfect.

    Beautiful food, wine and service. It was a football night and the street was closed to car access. Probably something that should have been notified when booking, but everything else made up for it.

    We were so disappointed as we recommended this restaurant to our friends and it was nothing like we remembered it to be. Not fine dining at all , no tablecloth felt like we were sitting in some sleazy room behind a curtain. Unable to have a cocktail because of the Football crowd ! Food presentation was very poor, not what I expected at all. It has been a long time since we have been there as we are living in Cairns. This use to be our absolutely favourite restaurant. What a shame it has changed.

    We booked Gambaros for a good meal and drinks for a rare date night, only to find out we are unable to get any cocktails because the bar staff were too busy serving the football fans on Caxton Street! Our server was lovely, James! Pretty disappointed that we were unable to get what we came for… especially for the money we had planned in spending - we chose to leave early to go elsewhere

    The Bed was very comfortable but the bed head in room 303 was absolutely disgusting it had all marks over it as if it had scratched and it was flaking off.

    They forgot to give us barramundi fillets with our seafood platter then brought it out when we were ready to leave. Asked them to adjust our bill and they discounted a miserable $9 off $198 . Food was good but expensive and would never go back

    I ordered the linguine, very disappointing I expected freshly made pasta, 1 prawn, 1 Scollop, sone small pieces of fish and 2 mussels basically it was a bowl of packet pasta for $39. Our main waitress was very good and efficient however multiple staff approached the table took drinks orders and never returned, neither did the drinks! I definitely won’t be dining there again, overpriced and overrated.

    We were looking forward to the meal and experience but were not blown away. The meals were nice and good sized portions so that was quite good. The service was a bit impersonal and so felt a little bit hit and miss on occasion.

    FOOD: Do not order the BBQ Seafood for $65 - no value for this dish. This included half a moreton bay bug of the xsmall size, 1 x "King" Prawn of the medium size, 100g fillet of barramundi, 2 x pieces of scallop and some brocollini/mesculin salad. Very underwhelming main. SERVICE: It was a the end of Magic round game day and the kitchen waiter who brought out the food must have had a long day, without a word rearranged our drinks / plates and abruptly plonked our mains on the table. The table/floor waiters were much better though. MENU: Website made no mention that on Game day - Set menus are not available. Ordering a la carte was not as cost effective. (Probably trying to maximise revenue on game day) OVERALL: Would not recommend attending here for a pleasurable dining experience. There are better options if you are looking to spend ~$200 on dining.

    Worst experience ever. Would normally eat at Moo Moo but due to floods they were not open. The only thing good to come out of our experience was the fact the manager waived the cost of dinner, but only after we complained. We will never go back. Very disappointed as it was for our anniversary.

    I couldn’t really fault the service and food. With the football on it wasn’t very romantic atmosphere but the feeling was relaxed and the were well looked after by the staff.
