   We were welcomed by a friendly face and the service continued with happy friendly staff. We had the $49 banquet plus a couple of the lamb shoulder dishes as add ons. All the food was cooked perfectly. And you gets lots of food. Will definitely be returning.

   A lovely place with tasty food and a good selection of wine, including Greek wine. Service was prompt and friendly. The food portions were adequate but not as generous as other places, although the lamb and the prawns were delicious. Would return

   Nothing like having a great business lunch at Georges Mediterranean Bar & Grill, Not only was the food and service excellent, the food tasted even better with such a beautiful ambience, you literally are sitting on the waters edge in Darling Harbour. If you visit Sydney, this place is a must to try out, you won't be disappointed.

   We have dined here before but we were so disappointed this time. Service was very slow, we had difficulty getting waitstaff attention and then had to ask several times for more water/dessert. Food servings were very small, not as flavoursome as they have been in the past and not good value at all. A really disappointing experience especially as it was a 50th birthday dinner.

   Wonderful food, service and great atmosphere… had a beautiful piece of dory .. so fresh and cooked to perfection. Loved the Greek salad and the dips with sourdough were great. The portion sizes were very generous. Can’t wait to go back !

   I do understand that it was a busy period given that it was Valentines Day. But to have a set menu and still have 30min to an hour intervals between courses is ridiculous. Food was cold also. Very big let down, trying to create a positive memorable night, turned into a negative one. Value for money? Definitely not. I personally think I would have received better service and food at my local store. Disappointing.

    We have been to Georges Mediterranean Bar & Grill on several occasions in the past and tonight was just as amazing as our very first visit. Awesome food, staff are so attentive and friendly, also very experienced (rare these days) so makes the whole experience relaxing. The location in Barangaroo is very easy to get to and we arrived at Wynyard train station, it’s approximately 10 minutes walk from the station to the restaurant. Online booking is extremely easy and convenient, I’ve used this method for all our visits and never had any issues. Good location for various other bars, etc for after dinner drinks if meeting up with friends. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    We were seated promptly at an outdoor table by request. The waiter took our beverage order pretty quickly. Once the drinks were delivered he took our food order. We split a Greek salad and I had the market fresh fish with green beans and capers, my husband had the lamb souvlaki. Our salad came in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant was moderately busy, but nowhere near capacity as it was early. Our entrees came a bit later. My order was correct but my husband's was not. They brought chicken souvlaki instead of lamb. They took the incorrect order back and indicated they would correct it quickly. About 20-30 minutes passed before they brought his order, but with no silverware as they took his after we finished the salad. The server said she would bring new silverware. Our waiter had not returned to check on us since he took our order. After several minutes my husband flagged down another server for some silverware. It was delivered promptly. Once we finished our entrees, we waited for our waiter to check on us. We could see him seating other guests, talking with various other employees, but still never checking on us. We finally got his attention & requested the check. After 10-15 minutes I got up to use the restroom and passed by him and the cashier table. When he saw me we make eye contact and he muttered to himself "the check". When I returned to the table my husband had paid the check & we left. For the price point I expected better service. The food was average at best. The service was very poor.

    Authentic Greek food. We've been going to Georges since the 70s when it was in Double Bay and stayed at their family's hotel in Kifisia (sadly now gone). All nice.

    Below average Greek food. Only saving grace was the location. Wouldn’t be back. Chips were served cold/ stale. Souvlaki plate was nothing more than pita bread, meat and sauce. We all got the large plates and the quantity was very small. On top there was a sneaky service tax.

    Have been to George’s twice in the past year, both times service was lovely, food was delicious however wait times are a little long. If you’re looking to go there just make sure you don’t have any plans afterwards with strict timing ☺️

    We visited this restaurant twice whilst in Sydney. The service was very good, food good and cocktails and wine great. We went here NYE and there was live music, a DJ and dancing with a set menu. The food was plentiful and service good despite how busy it was, the staff were courteous and helpful and very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

    We had a great time over all in George’s . Foods and drinks are fantastic and doesn’t need for us to wait a long time to serve. Every minute staff are checking on us. Drinks when order delivered quickly . I can recommend this to my friends. Keep up the good work team George’s.

    Lovely food and attentive service - our coeliac was a little less catered for than on previous visits as alternatives weren’t provided for each stage of the dishes but there was still plenty of very tasty food.

    The food, ambience and timing of food was fine. It was the wait staff....80% of them seemed to really not enjoy what the do. Plus, they slopped the wate r and our champagne on the table most timesthey poured it. I have been there many times over the years and enjoyed it but the 3 friends I took, said that they would never go there again because of the attitude of the wait staff. The young female wait staff were great, but the older men really need to step up their game if dealing with the public.
