The meal was delicious. I will be back with friends.
Really great experience, pasta was perfectly cooked, waiters were so nice and attentive and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back
My second time here & it did not disappoint I really like Gigi’s. The food is good , nice selection on the food and the wine menu .Some very tasty true Italian specials , small restaurant with great atmosphere & very informative, attentive staff . 4 Stars.
Really lovely authentic Italian food. Only wine seems to be a bit pricey. But lovely friendly service .
Lovely pasta for lunch, prices reasonable for that menu at least. Asparagus and pancetta pasta special and ragu, will be back soon. Nice to be able to book a table for Friday lunch as well, saves disappointment
Excellent food with real authentic Italian service. Lunch option was very reasonably priced and food was amazing. Would highly recommend.
We were blown away by Gigi's. It was a fantastic experience, and will definitely go again.
We had a great night! The staff were so lovely and the food was delicious! Would highly recommend!
Friendly welcome and good service. Good atmosphere. Delicious food.
A lovely, friendly atmosphere once you walk in the door. Our waiter was very good indeed. But, something must have gone wrong in the kitchen! We waited for almost half an hour between finishing our starter and being served our main course. Then, as we were enjoying our coffee, we were very politely asked to finish as there were people waiting for our table. The delay in being served was not of our making!
I would highly recommend GiGi's - the one thing I would change is the music was a little too loud - it is a small venue and at times difficult to hear the conversation among the group between the noise and loud music.
Amazing food and the waiting staff were extremely attentive, could not do enough for us but were not intrusive. It is a wonderful addition to Ranelagh and we would highly recommend it and will be back on a regular basis!
The seating area is quite tight but you’re not on top of each other either, the atmosphere is great and the restaurant is very lively. The waiter had an extremely pleasant manner and there was some tasty specials on offer. We had the sharing antipasti which was amazing and I had the steak for main which had an exquisite charred flavour washed down with a delightful Montepulciano, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Presentation just beautiful, would I recommend it, yes provided you are not really hungry. Having two younger adults with me, they were bitterly disappointed on portion size - really small, bit on the expensive side for what had.
Buzzing little spot with a lovely selection of Italian wine and food. The menu is short but interesting although I will say with the dim lighting very very difficult to read. Perhaps if it was on yellow paper and slightly larger print it might be easier to read. Even the staff commented on how difficult it was. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of red and some antipasti but I think we’d have ordered more if we could have read the menu.
What we did have was very tasty and the staff were very friendly but rather busy and at times a little too busy to remember who asked for what but I’m sure things will settle.
If you’re looking to relax over your meal be sure you wait until the last seating of the evening as you will otherwise probably be rushed out of your seat.
Overall I would definitely recommend GIGI’s and will definitely be returning.
Birthday meal with 4 friends. Gorgeous mushroom risotto and seafood tagliatelle. Great ambiance and a lovely Happy Birthday greeting from the staff! Definitely will be back
A very enjoyable night out. Very buzzy place so quite noisy, small and intimate. Food is excellent, if a little on the pricey side. Delicious antipasti as well as pasta dishes, but there is something for those who don't want pasta - like my son who had the steak and said it was delicious. Lovely Montepluciano wine. Overall, can highly recommend it. You need to book well in advance.
Lovely meal and great atmosphere in the restaurant!
What is not to like about Gigi! It is a perfect combination of great fresh food, lovely space, fab staff and right in the heart of Ranelagh. It is simple perfect!!
Our first time to visit Gigi and delighted to confirm that the reviews I read were all bang on. Delicious food, great and friendly service . We will definitely be back!
Delicious food coupled with excellent service 👌🏻
The best pasta in Dublin! Most authentic experience outside of Italy. So, so tasty. Service is also fabulous.
Incredible meal - food, wine and service were 5 star.
Super experience, delicious food and great staff. Can't wait to go back!
Excellent meal food amazing great atmosphere and service we will be back
Nice little spot with a genuine taste of Italy. Risotto was off the charts, service and staff were awesome
The food and the service was amazing. Definitely recommended.
Gigi is an amazingly authentic Italian restaurant. The staff are very friendly and great buzz in the restaurant. The food was delicious, as was the wine!
Really excellent experience. Can't wait to eat here again. Not the noisiest place in the world but could be a little quieter.
We really enjoyed our meal in Gigi’s. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The tiramisu, in particular, was a big hit. The limoncello at the end is a nice touch too. We will definitely be coming back.
Loved everything about GiGis. Will definitely return. Gorgeous authentic Italian food and wine with fabulous service and atmosphere!
Authentic Italian restaurant run by great guys.highly recommended
Everything great - only slight negative for me was the noise level, but that’s social commentary rather than then restaurant’s fault , younger folk tend to lean back and talk louder to companions than my generation.....
The best Italian food in Dublin bar none. Great service and atmosphere, this place is a real gem!
Fabulous fresh pasta! Fun buzzy atmosphere and excellent serve. Will definitely be going back!
We had a fantastic evening. All staff were friendly yet professional. Lovely food and great ambience. We’ll be back
As a coeliac there weren’t enough options but my friend loved her pasta dish. My fish dish was only okay
Really lovely Italian food which tasted like it had all been made from scratch.
It's not Italian enough, too much rocket in both starter and main course, cured ham to start too tough and not as good as most good delis, bone marrow on steak made it too fatty so didn't work. Pity, 'cos I wanted it to real good, Dublin needs a few really good Italian restaurants.
Great food but if there was a little more on the plate it would be exceptional!
