   Giovanni’s is great but no one should pay $37 for a Chicken Parmesan or $14 for a stoli and soda. Great service, staff, ambiance.

   Excellent dinner. Not having the menus while the party joined was a little frustrating because we could not order any antipasti or drinks (especially without seeing the price of drinks).

    Our waiter was amazing. Very attentive. He went above and beyond to help my daughter find something she would like - and they made something just for her. Food was great. Highly recommend

    Loved the food we had. Split a Caesar salad and also had the veal scallopini which was delicious. Homemade bread was yummy and wine list nice and diverse. Our waiter was a little bit aloof and cold and not quite as engaging as the manager. Hope if we go back again or wait staff will be a little bit more positive. Highly recommend a restaurant and loved our food

    I was honestly disappointed with how much the food cost compared to the serving size you reiceved. I should’ve realized I’m paying for the location but come on. The service wasn’t great either.

    First of all, this place advertises free valet but there is not valet. Second, it's as dark as possible without being pitch black, literally couldn't read the menu. And I don't need reading glasses yet... ordered a wedge salad with pancetta for $15. It came and was literally a slice of iceberg lettuce with one strip of (rather thin) bacon draped over the top. When I asked why I hadn't gotten pancetta I was told, by the manager that, "that is bacon." Literally, that was his only explanation. I had him take it back. He offered nothing in return. Then, the pasta with butter, Parmesan and olive oil that I ordered (for $28) was delivered. The noodles were beyond al dente. Which is to say they were cooked for about 5 mins too short. I told the waiter who asked me if I wanted something else. I asked for lasagne, which he brought to me once everyone else in our group was finished eating, sans any apology and it was as good as lean cuisine lasagna, which I'm not knocking, but also, it costs $3 and this was $33. Also, my husband got the chicken Marsala and it was mediocre at best. I literally never post bad reviews and am always trying to give places the benefit of the doubt but this place surpassed all of my expectations for what we would NOT encounter at a place like this. We were charged the full price of the meal. Don't go here. No stars.

    First of all let me start off by saying there was only 2 servers when we were there and a total of 8 people in the whole restaurant. The guy behind the bar was great, our server was just ok. we had to ask for everything.. “can you tell us the specials? may we have bread? He offered to bring us our check before we had to ask again about the dessert menu. We started with the cesar salad, it had no flavor I had the lamb chops . the flavor was on but it needed a sauce. My hubby had the Brazino it was a very small piece of fish for the price. The Bolagnase was decent the pasta was fresh and after adding some red pepper flakes , oil, vinegar and black pepper it was better. All in all it was just ok.. food course use more flavor and the servers needed to pay more attention to their guest

    Food was excellent. Ambiance and restaurant were really good. Dim lights, piano playing in the background, good food. Will recommend. Service was not the best. Servers were in a rush. Spilled water twice and didn’t even apologize.

    Over priced, small portions for an Italian restaurant. Very dark ambiance. The grouper fish was good but tiny portion on top of spinach. Lobster ravioli only 6 small ones, first bites tasting like chef boyardi. We were still hungry after dinner… had to order room service when we got back.

    We had our wedding reception at Giovanni's in 2014, and have returned each year on our anniversary, except for the past two years (due to CV19). On 03/30/2022 we returned to celebrate our 8th anniversary, and were greeted with the same exceptional service. Kudo's to Chris for always taking care of us!

    We have gone 3 years in a row now for our anniversary. The food is always phenomenal but the service gets worse and worse with each year we go. Unless you are known by the staff, you basically mean nothing to them.

    Where do I begin..it was dark. The entrees were exceptionally small in size. I left hungry. My whole $39 dollar branzino was not even 5 ounces and only included a tiny side of ratatouille. Too cheap to add some potatoes. My first time visiting and I will never go back. Even the pasta dishes were small and over priced and not that good. I’m first generation Italian and this place is an insult to Italians .

    Nice atmosphere, very expensive wine list with a 4x markup and some regions of Italy under represented. The cheese tray was subpar with some cheese that did not belong to an Italian cheese spread. The entres were fairly executed but a bit pricey and small portions I am from out of town, so I don’t have experience with another local Italian in the mid to upper echelon category to compare with, but in south Florida we have much better

    I am really sorry to have to say this, but we will not be returning here to eat. We made a reservation, because my sister was in town visiting. We found out the menu was fixed and there was an $80 fee for each person because it was Valentines weekend. I don’t have a problem with that, if the food is worth it. The portions were small. Appetizers, Entrees, and desserts were all just average in taste. It just did not meet my expectations for what the three of us expected to be a fine dining experience. I felt like the food was more on the level of a casual restaurant where your expectations are not the same and the price is not so steep. Even on a holiday weekend $60 per person would have been generous for this meal.

    My husband and I were very excited to try this resturant out and were pretty excited about our date night. To start, the tables were way too close to have a proper private conversation with your significant other. Secondly, it was so dark that we could barely read the menus to pick our food. Lastly, for the price we were paying for this meal and the fact that it was the weekend before Valentines and our menu was limited due to this, the food was very disappointing. Not much flavor and definitely not unforgettable. On a whole I wouldn't recommend this resturant due to the price you are paying vs the quality of food (or lack there of), but that's just my opinion I guess.
