GOGOS Waterfront Restaurant is a charming family run hidden gem. We are situated at Windsor Racecourse Marina, (next door to Windsor Racecourse), and we have lovely views over the marina and Windsor racecourse. During the summer enjoy alfresco dining on our lower deck and refreshing beverages on the top deck. During the colder months cosy up next to the roaring fire in our Shebeen where we serve our full menu We are dog friendly throughout so you can bring your pet pooch as long as they are well behaved.

There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more.

Lovely South African wines, creative cocktails, extensive range of gins and even Don Pedros the South African 'milkshake cocktail'.

    It was my first visit despite the restaurant being on my doorstep! Warm and friendly greeting on arrival, great waiting staff. Food plentiful and very tasty. Excellent value for money and I will be back!

    This is in a beautiful location and my first time back in 4 years. Again the location and views are amazing but… the server was dismissive and seemed very unhappy. The food was mediocre and my mum found a bone in her fish to which the restaurant offered no apology. Overall very disappointed as I remember gogo's to be a great spot in the past. I’ll not be going again…

    The live entertainment was so loud that you could not hold a conversation without shouting at each other. We were with two guests from Australia who were as disappointed as ourselves at such a noisy venue. A request was made to have the live entertainment turned down - unfortunately it fell on deaf ears! In addition the curry meal was almost inedible!

    We were caller away before we finished our food and drinks which was such a shame as what we had eaten/drank so far was really good. Hope to visit again soon to finish what we started !

    We’ve given GoGos a lot of 2nd chances over the years. An African family drawn to South African food, but the staff are indifferent and lack good friendly customer service. We had to ask if we should help ourselves to drinks and service, as they took so long to come to our table. The food is overpriced and overcooked! The meat dry and the opposite of good South African food & friendliness. What a shame as they have the perfect setting to make this restaurant amazing! Also if you have a bad back, these chairs will only make it worse. All in all, we won’t be back again! Our last visit was 2 years ago and it was the same back then.

    Very nice setting by the boats, lots of floral decorations and excellent food, ribs are always my favourite here. Cocktails were awesome, as was the service. However people were scraping their chairs above us a lot and we were charged for extra flat bread and water for the table that seemed complimentary

    Food much improved since last visit and lovely setting on the marina. Service was generally efficient and friendly, although a little slow to clear our plates at the end of the meal, but it was a busy Saturday lunchtime. It was hot under the marquee - perhaps a couple of fans would be an idea for next summer.

    Awful service. Long wait for drinks and food - drinks also missing/needed to reorder multiple times. Multiple items on the menu not available and half the table needed to reorder due to an issue in the kitchen and unable to fulfill order.

    Great place for a weekend breakfast - especially o a sunny day! Have been coming here on and off for a few years and it is great to see them thriving. Tables nicely spaced out. Would eb good to see some new choices on the menu alongside the traditional favourites.

    Delicious food, brilliant portions. Cocktails were lovely too. We all rolled out of there. 😊 but service wasn’t the best. However, that wouldn’t stop me from going back.

    Lovely location and atmosphere. Sat outside so not sure of inside but looked equally as nice. Not been before but heard good things. Sadly even though we came early, the dish we ordered we were told later had all been sold out so I had to re-order By the time the food came mine was look warm as was my husbands and nest was a little tough. Friends food arrived a bit later So first time a bit disappointing but I will definitely visit again - everyone has a bad day so like to give it another chance Servers were very friendly and helpful

    Not very welcoming, manager appeared rude. Did not allow us to have a cake given that it was my husband’s 60th birthday. Service was incredibly slow, had to keep asking for our dishes. One of the meals was taken off the bill because it was left off the order. One of the waitress was unfriendly and clearly didn’t want to be there and it showed. The food was just dropped anywhere on the table. Didn’t clear the table after our starters. Overall a very unpleasant experience. Will never go there again!!

    Food and atmosphere is great, only let down was it looked like they had a massive spider infestation problem in the outside tent, not even small ones, great big, fat ones. Our server bless her was great, and removed them where they were crawling towards our table. The manager on the other hand was very unhelpful and rude. She said and I quote “it’s nature, you chose an outside table”. I chose an outside table correct, a spider or 2, fine, but I definitely did not choose or expect to dine with 20+ mammoth spiders.

    The servers were polite and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the Brie in Onion Seeds starter. The only disappointment was that we were seated with a view of the car park instead of a view of the marina.

    We visited on a sunny August weekday lunchtime. Sat outside . Food was great. Between us we had burgers...beautifully cooked, ribs yummy sauce , chicken salad and chicken 'skewer Plus milk tart for pudd. Thanks
