The food and service was fantastic! Bacon wrapped Andouille lollipops to start, Shrimp with Bacon Jam Pasta and Verde Salmon (gasp!) Superb! The bright diner style ambience is a tad disappointing but definitely placed a distant third.

Food was wonderful, nice atmosphere and good value. Waitstaff was ok but not terrific, never refilled coffee and never came to see if we needed anything after food came until we were finished. Not terrible but just not as good as the last time we ate there. Would definitely go back

This is now a #1 favorite of ours in Georgetown! The service was incredible and attentive, was not trying to upsell us on our food, and had great suggestions. The food had a creative twist mixed with traditional comfort flavor, and we absolutely will be coming back!

Really great food. The ambiance is great, looks old-timey but is clean and new. There is an upstairs area that looks really neat. The food was top notch, the brussel sprouts with honey sriracha was killer. Everything was great. The server was attentive, and good. I will absolutely be coming back. Oh and I almost forgot, one of the best bread pudding's ever. Its a great size to share. I totally recommend this place.

Joined a friend for Sunday brunch. We both ordered the chicken biscuits & added an egg. The whole plate was so delicious. I thought everything would come separate. But, the biscuits were put together. Probably one of the most delicious brunches ever. And, the service was fantastic!! Loved it!!

Restaurant seemed short staffed. Server was NOT attentive. We first waited for 5 minutes before we were greeted. Had to ask for refills on more than one occasion. Table became quickly cluttered as previous courses were not cleared. We ordered dessert and enjoyed this while staring at the used dinnerware. Had to use the flatware from the entrées because we never received dessert spoons. Server rarely came by throughout the meal. I was also unable to sit in front of my husband as I had to move because of the air conditioning vent that was directly above me. This was our first visit to this restaurant and may be our last.

We ALWAYS look forward to visiting Georgetown and ALWAYS make Goodfolks a stop. Our server was wonderful. She ask me about things before I had to. Management checked in as well which shows how much they care. They also paid attention to my Opentable request for a booth. The food was delicious as always and we look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

Goodfolks is a very nice, clean restaurant. They use local food sources which is nice. I went with a friend for lunch and was impressed enough to go back for brunch with my husband. The lunch was better than the brunch. For lunch, I had the fried chicken. While the crust is a bit much for me, the flavor was good especially if you eat it with the house sauce. The brunch was not as exciting. We both had the chicken and waffles. It comes with a syrup blend that looks like applesauce. The chicken was bland and flavorless and the syrup was not to our liking. We found it to be overly sweet. We also had a side of bacon, a side of ham and a side of the hash browns. The bacon was ok, the ham was good and they give you a lot, but the potatoes were mushy and not hot enough. It was a pleasant experience but I don’t think we would feel the need to go back.

Very expensive. Food was good but not good value for what we had. 2 chicken strip and Cole slaw $15. Service slow, very noisy. Manager came by, we got a biscuit with meal. Asked her for honey and butter was informed that if we just got 1 biscuit they don’t give you butter and honey but she would get it anyway. Well gee thanks!!! Weird rule. Don’t do me any favors. One and done.

It is a nice place in side and a very country flair. Service was ok but required us to flag down the server for refills and such. Prices are high end of reasonable and the food is good but not great. Still, overall liked the restaurant and would likely go again.

Service was extra slow, waited more than 15mins to put our drink order in and then it was a game of cat & mouse trying to find a waiter to order food or extra drinks. Food was OK but not worth the bad service.

Goodfolks is a real gem on the historic Georgetown square. The menu has something for everyone. The food is delicious and locally sourced. Their Happy Hour offerings are a good value. We've had excellent dining experiences every time we've been to Goodfolks. It's obvious the restaurant management and staff appreciates their customers. The entire staff are always friendly, helpful and courteous. A shout out to our server, Shana, who always takes excellent care of us!

The staff was very kind and the service was fast. The food was served hot and you weren’t waiting very long. The bartenders made really good drinks thank you. Very well-maintained and cleaned establishments from the time you walk in to going to the restrooms and even the outside areas in front of the establishment were well-maintained.
