   My 4th visit here, food is always lovely, restaurant decor is lovely but the service is still so slow and disorganised which is really disappointing by this stage that it has not been improved. We dealt with at least 7 different staff from the time we sat down to when we left, contradicting what the last person said, messing up our order - total disorganisation- staff are not being organised to manage effectively or efficiently at all. Staff should be assigned sections and the customer deals with the same person for their experience. There were multiple mess ups with our drinks order, we actually didn’t even receive one of the glasses of Prosecco that was part of the set menu at all but we gave up asking. There was also total confusion about the kids desserts orders- despite telling multiple waitresses what they wanted, they didn’t come with the adult desserts. We waited to see if they would come shortly after & they didn’t do we had to ask again. Then they came with 2 instead of 3 (there were 3 children) My mam ordered brownie which was to be served with vanilla ice cream according to the menu but it was sent out with no ice cream. When the bill came we decided to leave a tip which wasn’t quite 10% but was decent even though the service was that bad because the staff are nice and we didn’t think it fair to not leave anything despite all the issues. I was horrified then when we got home and realised we were already charged a 10% service charge on the bill! 😱 I’ve never been charged a service charge there before on my previous visits - I’m guessing it happened as we were a larger group (9). It felt like it was slipped in- I really feel it should have been brought to our attention that a service charge was applied to the bill. The food total came to €250 and we left them a €45 tip in total unknowingly and unintentionally. 🙈 I really hope the restaurant can be organized better or it just won’t be worth going there anymore. 😩

    Beautiful restaurant, food was fab however the portion size was to suit a small child. Beautiful live music if you where in a pub we found our selfs shouting over each orther. Price was OK, staff were lovely and helpful but you had to go get them for your drink or bill.

    Very disappointed with the service , we were seated as soon as we arrived , restaurant was busy but plenty of empty tables , we were given menus but not asked for drink order , 25 mins later , waitress come to take order , when asked to explain a dish on menu , she read exactly what was printed on menu , said she didn’t know but didn’t offer to find out ! Over half an hour later , meals arrived but without our sides , we called over a young waitress , she said she’d sort it , but unfortunately she didn’t , eventually when we had all finished our meals , we called over ‘hostess , she apologised , and said she’d take sides of the bill ! Obviously !! I Just felt service was very very poor , I had been the week before had a lovely experience , and couldn’t wait to bring my friends ! We visited your restaurant on Friday 17 th at 2 pm … food was good buy service would put me off !

    8.15 booking. No tables upon arrival. Slow to take an order for drinks. 1hr30mins before we got our starters. Eating main course after 10pm. Very poor service and too busy to check in on table for drinks etc. Disappointing as we had a great experience here previously.

    Ambiance & decor very nice even in the toilets…service excellent, our waitress was so friendly & pleasant however food was disappointing also the stairs leading up to the restaurant could do with a good sweep/clean !!

    Very disappointed with the service we received. Over an hour waiting on our starters then the plates were cleared while we were still eating then another hour wait until our main was served. We were booked in for 7.30 and only eating our main course at 9.45. We had to ask about both our starter and our main course. The air conditioning also cycled from dramatically hot to freezing cold.

    We were shown to our table at 8pm but didn't receive drinks menus or the Valentine's menu until 8.30pm. There were only two people working service but they were fully occupied serving food rather than taking orders. I understand that every business has challenges finding staff, but our booking shouldn't have been taken if certain standards couldn't be met. There's certain things I could accept if we just walked in but, having booked our table, management should've known what staff levels were needed. The sorbet from the Valentine's menu, and tea/coffees were not offered at any stage. We were out for the first time since having a baby last November, and heard decent reviews from this restaurant but overall, we were extremely disappointed with the experience.
