We are firm favourites of gfp. However yesterday we noticed that portions had definitely gotten smaller. Food was still tasty and service very good. White wine was not chilled and again didn't seem up to the right portion! We might take a break from a while and hopefully when we come back things will have returned to what drew us here originally!

Always a good brekki/ brunch choice. Reliable and delivers. Reservation is needed no matter what time of the day you’re coming. Says a lot when the place is this booked every week, no matter the season.

Had a lovely time in Santry Gourmet Food Parlour, the food was gorgeous (Sea Bass was delicious). As always the staff were so friendly and service was excellent. I would highly recommend a visit

maybe got them on a bad day service was slow and we ordered soup and it arrived when we had just started our main course which we returned to the kitchen with staff it was going to be wasted ! may be shortage of staff that day they were dealing with one large table and told other diners this would cause delays. No manager came to apologize for the error

waited 45 mins for water and a coffee. 50 mins for a goats salad which came without the goats cheese? my daughter ordered wings snd chips and got the 20 mins apart. We had to continously ask staff for pur food and drinks, left without eating food. Manager handled it v good in fairness but that didnt change the wait times or missing food. Wouldnt recommend unless u dont mind the long wait. Food that did come was good

We were seated swiftly by a very efficient host. However it went down hill from there. The table was dirty and seats too. My husband ordered the breakfast and it was cold. I ordered the burrito and it was soggy and wet with one kidney bean! Coffee was milky and tasteless and we had to waitfor cutlery as the waitress explained they had none clean!

The restaurant was cold yesterday with a constant draught. It would be helpful if staff closed the door when they go inside and outside while serving. In the time we were there we asked your staff on 5 occasions to close the door.

Despite the restaurant being busy with two parties we were well looked after. Food was lovely as always and the waitress and manager were both friendly and chatty which was lovely

Outdoor dining for breakfast at 9.30..Service was very prompt and food was very tasty..Good value and lovely setting but was getting very busy when we left around 11 o clock.. Noise levels indoors was increasing too at this stage..Well worth a visit..

We chose Midweek early bird menu 2 course and both main courses and desserts were really delicious. Had to wait a while for the mains but overall had a lovely and enjoyable time. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Very slow service. From the moment we were sat by the table nobody bothered for the next 20 mins (wasn’t even that busy) to come and ask if we want to order anything, wasn’t even asked if we want anything else to drink first. We had to look for waiter ourselves. After ordering finally, food came cold, eggs, toasts everything cold. There was no salt and pepper on the table, so we had to look for waiters again to ask them for it. Either try to get more staff or train the ones you have to look more after client and don’t keep them waiting around for the service for such a long time.

Food was ok but we were left waiting half an hour before anyone came near us to offer water let alone take an order. Even then it was only after I went over to them to let them know we had been there for 30 minutes. Dishes came out haphazardly and we were not sure that we were going to get what we had ordered. Know it’s not normally like that so will put it down to a bad day.

Our brunch of main courses (halloumi salad bowl, burger and fries) and a shared dessert (excellent carrot and walnut cake - a huge portion with cream on the side) was delicious. We enjoyed a generous glass each of chilled rose and topped our meal off with two very good Americanos. Service was very nice - efficient and just the right level of attentive. The restaurant was busy but we were happy to be seated on the upper floor which was quieter and very relaxing. The overall bill of around €62 was great value for excellent quality food and lovely service in pleasant surroundings. We've been to most of the Gourmet Food Parlours and this is our favourite...... we'll be back!

Really great quality and choice of food. Portion sizes were also great. One Dairy allergy in our group and one gluten intolerant and both were accommodated for without any fuss. Staff really lovely, checked on us throughout our meal and were not intrusive.

Booked our table online..We sat outside for breakfast despite the rain! A young waiter came out and put on the heater for us. He took our order very effectively and was very attentive for the entire visit. His name was Alex and he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.

I was there with my family for a last minute lunch and it was a wonderful experience. The food was superb but what stood out most of all was the service. Our orders were taken promptly and our server, Alex, was so helpful. He was making jokes, engaging with everyone and making sure we had everything we needed. This made it a really memorable experience and it was mainly down to this young man’s enthusiasm. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone l
