    Yesterday I dined in the Swords branch for a birthday breakfast and the experience was so negative I will not be back to any location. At no point was the restaurant more than half full, 5-6 different staff on the floor, varying from managers to floor staff. We arrived at 10.30 am for our booking of 4 people. Our order was taken 23 minutes after we were seated. The first 3 items ordered were all not available, but nobody had informed us of that as we were seated. Our drinks order arrived in 5 stages and was still incorrect in the end. All food was delivered within 15 minutes of ordering, but cutlery and napkins arrived 3-4 minutes after that. We needed a top up on our drinks order and with nobody on the floor I went to the bar and was ignored. I went to the petrol station down the road and returned with a bottle of coke. The food was underwhelming, cold from having to wait on cutlery and go else where for a drink. Topped of with a hair in my scrambled eggs. In the Swords branch you can see into the kitchen, the chef was not wearing a hairnet/hat and his hair matched what I was served. One member of the group ordered a breakfast burrito but was not made the same way as in Santry. Sauce on the outside of the burrito, making it very messy, bacon not chopped, meaning it all came apart in the first bite. The staff all seemed either new, inexperienced, or just unable to cope with what was definitely not a busy period. Tables were left uncleaned around us. It's disappointing to see this as I say, I was a long time fan of this restaurant. 3 of the 4 members of the group are hospitality workers and the problems on display could be easily fixed but nobody seemed to want to take charge, similar to the bad meal I had in the Santry branch previously. All I can say is that I haven't seen standards drop so far, so quickly in somewhere I frequently dine. Other tables were also upset, the table next to us received all of it's food, then received their teas and coffees.

    We tried the new tapas menu last night, it was great value as we went for the sharing option for 50euro, portions we're very generous and the food was amazing, bottomless bravas and the calamari oh my god 😱 so good, already planning another evening, staff were so kind and attentive also.

    We booked a retirement lunch in GFP Swords and the staff were extremely helpful. They were able to add extra people to the booking at short notice and offered to take our order that morning so that the food was ready on our arrival. Esther in reservations was so accommodating and the staff in the restaurant made sure we were well looked at.

    Restaurant level of cleanliness very poor. On entering was dirt on floor under front of house podium, mat on floor was filthy. Chairs are stained. Will not be in a hurry to dine there again.

    Problem with gas, so half the menu off. Service poor by usual standards. Had a bbq beef sub, which is impossible to cut and very messy. Tasted fine but not worth the effort imo.

    Very disappointing service - plenty of staff on and very little interaction with wait staff. Glasses had lipstick on them and when mentioned to staff shrugged off by staff. Finished lunch left on table until we left (we spent 3 hours here) food was good but service was a let down! This is not the first time this has happened in this brand of GFP

    Super brunch for 4- we couldn’t find fault with it. Chicken and stuffing sandwich was a big favourite as was the brisket. Definitely worth a visit

    Bad experience this time, usually swords is great service and santry used to be poor but santry is now brilliant and swords was poor this time. They forgot our whole order we waited about 40 mins for breakfast, eggs were hard and the waiter gave us 1 glass of Prosecco between 3 of us as an apology, it wasn’t overly busy so not sure what was going on. Will stick to santry in future!

    Great buzzy atmosphere - attentive staff. We were a large group and 11 children asked for a cup of tea, which was no problem! Good range of food options and drinks too. Highly recommended.
