This was my first visit. I had attempted to book a Friday evening a few weeks prior and they were booked out. I booked this visit for a Tuesday evening and it was booked solid that night too with people being turned away throughout the evening. Booking well in advance is recommended.

I really enjoyed the food, simple but tasty flavours, and the house red was lovely. I ordered the Zuppa Di Orzo Perlato and the Parmigiana Di Pesce Spada with a side of Tender stem broccoli alla nduja and sampled the Tiramisu and the Salame al cioccolato. All were delicious, though the nduja was quite spicy so avoid if you struggle with spices.

I didn't have any pasta so will be returning to sample a pasta dish.

Just one admin related note, the menu listing on OpenTable lists a price of €19 for the Parmigiana Di Pesce Spada but it was €26 on the bill and the menu in the restaurant.

Overall a lovely restaurant with lovely food. My dish of neck pork was adequate for an early bird. I hope there is more on the plate in the À la Carte version. Would be happy to make it a regular...

Amazing food and wine!! Would highly recommend. Just one word of warning - do not order the vegan pasta. My poor husband really lucked out ordering that, it was extremely watery, had no flavour and he struggled through it. However everything else was amazing and we will be back.....just not for the vegan option.

Good traditional Italian food without any pretensions. Service good if maybe a small bit fast.

Room could do with a slightly lower number of lumens to improve the ambiance.

Would recommend.

We had a wonderful meal in Grano last Saturday night. The food was superb. The restaurant itself was really cosy and had a great neighbourhood feel to it. We really enjoyed watching the pasta being made at the counter while we were having our meal. I would highly recommend the tiramisu. Great wine list also.

Great food, attentive service and overall a positive experience.
The nibbles and starters were excellent.
The Rosso di Piceno wine was just right.
The mains were light and full of flavor.

A lovely venue and concept but unfortunately did not enjoy our experience here. Found the portion sizes far too small, and found out after the visit that it's more of a sharing plates concept. However this was not communicated to us by our server. Prices high. Did not find service very helpful. Did not enjoy the flavour of my vegan broccoli pasta dish either. Wish I could write a better review.

The staff were very friendly and food was good. Tables were very close together and we had a large party of 12 people very closely beside us. The restaurant is very small and it was difacult to move between tables. It was also very noisy!!! I would return when it might be quieter!!

Nice homish Italian cuisine with an interesting twist of regional dishes (mostly South of Italy & Sicily), which is something quite new in the Dublin culinary scene. Good and genuine ingredients are certainly used and this is a necessary and good starting point. Decent choice of wines. Service quite informal and maybe - at times - a bit too relaxed. Dining room quite simple and basic but cosy (it has its own style). Correctly priced.

Im sorry to say I was disappointed with this dining experience after reading so much about Grano. We were brought the wrong bottle of wine (red instead of white), there was a great deal of confusion around our booking to the point where we were unsure if we should eat our starter because we weren’t sure if our table was actually ours (very uncomfortable) and my main (the oriechette) was quite bland. When it came to paying the bill, the waitress never came back with the change and after waiting around for a while trying to catch her eye we decided it was just too awkward and to just leave it.
The starter (nduja spread) was delicious, the wine was tasty and good value and my friends gnocchi was nice. Overall it was great value and there was a good vibe.

I enjoyed Grano but overall I was disappointed as I had heard a lot about the restaurant. I feel some of the ingredients let the meal down.
We went for the early bird which is excellent value. I tried a few starters but the meatballs by far were the best of what I tasted.
The desserts were delicious, the Tiramisu was perfect.
