Great food at a reasonable price and very professional service
Simple food cooked with care & a good deal of skill This restaurant remains a firm favourite because it sticks to the core principals of great friendly service in a warm setting with nice art on the wall & the menu delivers on all fronts. The food taste great & is brilliant value for money.
Another excellent meal at Green 19! Fantastic as always!
The food was really delicious. The waiter (brown curly hair)was so patient and very attentive. I was there with my mother and brother (with special needs) and the waiter was very patient and could not of been more helpful. We will be back :)
a lively bustling restaurant serving delicious food at very competitive prices - oh, and with friendly efficient staff
We booked for 4 people and were shown to a table upstairs which we had to ourselves. That was great! The service was amazing - the staff were so lovely. Good drinks and fab food. Would highly recommend!
Booked a table for 8 for Sunday Dec 23rd and it worked out brilliantly! They gave us the mezzanine area to ourselves and we had access to the terrace outside. The food was hearty, tasty and perfect for a large group! A real pre Christmas treat
Second time to visit with parents unfortunately not as good, or memorable, as the first time. Emails and booking requests went unanswered along with request for table on mezzanine level. We had to request this on arrival as they had no record of my request. Sunday afternoon 3pm booking before Christmas we expected the Christmas menu but instead were given the brunch menu. After voicing discontent with this we were given a lunch menu. Very limited choice and to be honest the food was way below par. Chips served looked like they were from a bag and half cold on arrival. Burger cooked to beyond the pale and bun partially burnt. Desert was good and staff reasonably ok. In all honesty this experience has put us off any potential revisits when in Ireland.
Amazing food and service. Not to mention the delicious cocktails. We were a group of 8 and were let down last minute by another restaurant and Green 19 accommodated us. We had a super night - thank you!
Nice restaurant, good atmosphere, food and friendly service
We have been numerous times to this Restaurant and continue to go back due to the quality of food, restaurant, service and great cocktails! The menu is quite small, however, there is something for everyone on it. We intend to return soon!
I have visited Green 19 a number of times and keep coming back for the fabulous cocktails, yummy food and the great service!
Honestly up to dessert it was great. Starter and mains were lovely. Drinks great etc. Then I was served a raspberry cheesecake with blue all over the edges that looked very like mould. I thought maybe it was gelatin and too much but nope, even tasted gone off. When I brought it to the attention of the waitress she said she would speak with the chef. I handed it back and she didn't return. When the bill arrived it was still on there. I had to then ask of they had spoken to the chef. They maintain is was made that day. Honestly don't believe that but irrespective I didn't eat the dessert because it didn't look right. Most restaurants would have immediately removed it from the bill and in good restaurants the manager would have been by to apologise. Again nope, the waitress reluctantly removed the cheesecake from the bill with no one coming to visit us. Was quite disappointed really.
We ordered the special but we didn't ask for starters with it yet we were charged a full price set of euro. 26 each just for mains!! Would have appreciated being told that beforehand.
I wouldn't have minded but I didn't have my credit card and money was tight other than that it was all good! Great spot, would probably recommend but just watch that bit.
Gluten free comfort foods! We were able to eat chicken wings and fish & chips with no allergic reaction (have medically diagnosed wheat allergy and was dining with friend who has coeliacs). Staff were really friendly, food was good, and the daily house made soda was delicious.
We had a very good late night dinner. The service was friendly and efficient
The price was good for the food we ate
It was quite noisy when we got there at 10. It quieted down as people left
Burger was off tonight. Hard lump. Pity as normally much better.
Dinner was good and served by a nice American girl . My veggie burger was tbh a bit bland and I though the chips were not that nice either, very greasy. Would recommend for a quick bite but not a special occasion
I go to Green 19 every time I'm in Dublin. I've enjoyed the food every time I've been there and there is always something new on the menu.
Green 19 was lovely for Date Night. Great drink menu; interesting cocktail flavours. Soup of the day was piping hot and tasty but Caesar salad needed more flavour. Restaurant was full by the time we left; people of all ages were enjoying themselves. Must go back to try their “sofa of the day” which I only saw on their specials board as we were leaving.
Only awkward moment was when waitress asked us if we wanted to leave a tip on the debit card machine; owners may want to reprogram their machines to automatically prompt for a tip rather than having their waitstaff in the position of asking whether patrons want to add a tip. We’ve never had that happen before and it felt pushy, even though our waitress was lovely the rest of the evening.
Was there for lunch with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. We had a really nice table upstairs and then we were able to sit outside on the balcony for drinks. The place was very quiet , which suited us perfectly. Service was very good . Food was also generally very good even though my poached duck eggs were more like hard boiled and the chicken and guacamole sandwich was served without guacamole. I thought the wine was very expensive for that kind of cafe. Overall though, I would recommend it for brunch or lunch.
Another excellent dining experience in Green Nineteen! Highly recommended for any occasion and you will not leave disappointed!
Good food, tight space, on the loud side, tomato soup was great
Great food and service, interesting vegetarian options.
Great food at great value. Fantastic staff and service and great location.
Years since I'd been but nothing had changed. Friendly service, good value menu and nice casual atmosphere. Good place to start the night.
Friendly staff, good value tasty food. Always a reliable restaurant.
Excellent! The GF Fish and Chips were the reason that I picked there and they didn't disappoint!
Great food and service!
Very nice brunch - good selection of Spanish/Mexican-inspired dishes and nice cocktails. Lovely staff
We have been here loads of times. Everytime food cocktails and service are spot on.
This has to be one of the most creative cuisine establishments I’ve ever experienced. If you want something different, delicious and plentiful, this is that place.
Good choice for coeliacs with a number of gluten free options.
It was a great experience! Only wish their menu was extended to include all items all day.
Excellent service and beautiful seating upstairs. Definitely return again soon
I really enjoyed my meal but think there could be more of a selection of main-courses.
Food was great as usual, but service was a little slow. We didn't stay for dessert as a large group of really loud people arrived and we literally couldn't hear each other speak so we moved on.
The food was delicious and fairly priced! I had the nachos and the soup of the day (thai-spiced sweet potato, I think). Both were larger portions than I expected, so I split the nachos with my dining partner after finishing the soup. I would definitely visit again to properly enjoy the nachos ;)
A great local gem that I have visited twice in the space of a month, great casual place to get together with friends and the food and cocktails were fabulous.
