Love Green Pig! Our son was visiting so we took him to our favorite place
The food was great as usual, our server was amazing, he was so attentive and polite
Child’s PreK graduation.
Food wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. Not bad. But not excellent.
Food okay, was missing brunch food what my group had come for.
Excellent food, good service.
Catherine, thanks so much for joining us. Pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit!
The food and service were excellent. The place has a somewhat limited menu but does specialize in pork and seafood dishes. We ate indoors which was pleasant but a bit on the noisy side. Also, the prices are on the high-end, so be prepared to spend. The primary wait person was very friendly and quick to take our order. She returned a few times to check on us. Our drink "reorders" were promptly supplied. Overall, a very nice meal, especially for a special occasion.
Mimi, thanks for choosing GPB. So glad you enjoyed yourself! I wish we could do something about the pricing, but the cost of food has risen SO dramatically the last few months, we are left with no choice.
Enjoyed celebrating Father’s Day a week early out on the back patio. Clams, scallops, chicken pot pie very good. Desserts are decadently good. Carly was delightful.
Laura, so glad to get your review, thanks for celebrating with us! Good to hear about Carly, as that was her first solo shift here:)
Food was yummy. Service was excellent. Restaurant is fun and a great brunch atmosphere. Only complaint is that they didn't have any jam or jelly for my toast. Otherwise it was delicious!
Michael, we appreciate you dining with us! We do have jam available, sorry it got overlooked. We don't automatically give it with brunch (except for the biscuits), so next time just ask your server and we will provide some for you.
We sat outside and it was wonderful! The food was amazing and our server was so sweet. Great experience overall.
We had a delicious brunch starting with a super Bloody Mary. The server was professional, friendly, and prompt . It was my first time in that specific area and loved seeing a different part of Arlington. I will definitely go back and will tell others of my great experience.
Please add more coffee op
Very loud. Had a very hard time hearing company at table. Prices are a little steep and restaurant was short staffed. Food was delicious and good selection on cocktails and wine.
If my overall rating seems a bit harsh, its because as a regular customer since it opened, I have grown to expect more from GPB. Gave my overall experience a bit of a break thinking that my disappointment was due to poor weather and COVID-related short staff. Uncontrollable circumstances.
Deviled eggs were delightful. I thought the softshell crabs and fries (Friday's special) were overly greasy and overcooked and the crabs lacked flavor.
Good News: One of my first time guests, a Virtuoso Travel Agent. . . . . really liked GPB's crusted tuna.
I'll give GPB another shot.
The food was really good, great atmosphere. The highlight of the night was the Buffalo pork tips.
Had a yummy GPB take on the BLT. Always a pleasure to eat at this independent neighborhood restaurant.
We love this place. We will be back
Food is always great, but the service really fell off. Long waits between table visits to order food, order dessert. Not marked for proper silverware for dessert. Felt a bit forgotten. Almost a 3 hour dinner that could have been much shorter. Have always enjoyed this place so perhaps it was an off night.
Went to brunch for my daughter’s 23rd birthday. It makes for a great day!
Great food and service! The patio is awesome.
Amazing food, service, everything! Our server JP was great!
Delicious food and excellent service. Easy place to relax with friends or celebrate.
My husband and I went with our toddler daughter. The experience was great, and our server, Saba, was very attentive!
Six of us went out to dinner here. All but one LOVED their meal. The one who didn’t enjoy got the daily special which was chicken pot pie- it had a very heavy white wine flavor. Everything else from drinks to dessert was on point! Service was a little touch and go but we understand as places ramp up to full capacity. Will definitely return as this is a place we had been to before as well and loved.
Great food and service. Happy hour every day! Good date spot.
The brunch was great and the Sakura cocktail was amazing
The food was even better than I remember! It was our first opportunity to eat indoors after being fully vaccinated. Delicious!
Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was nice however services was extremely slow. We waited 45 mins for brunch once we ordered. All tables around us also were experiencing the same thing and everyone seemed annoyed.
Excellent food and our server was the best!
Green Pig has delicious food of all sorts, but recent visit there the service left something to be desired. The server was almost studious about avoiding looking over the tables, it was very hard to catch their attention if they weren't already intending to interact with us. Also, for the price point and quality of food, I wish other diners didn't feel so comfortable in their workout clothes and flip flops.
Tasty comfort food. Great service. Dined early so super chill.
Outstanding meal! Food was fantastic as was the service. The prices are a bit high, but the food is worth it. We has the cavatelli with meatballs, and the clams with chorizo. Both were delicious. My spouse sopped up the last bit of the soup with the clams with some amazing garlic bread. The cavatelli was cooked perfectly al denta and the portion was huge. We enjoyed it the next day. We sat outside, which accounts for the noise. The tables are pretty close to the street. It did not distract from our meal.
Special birthday celebration with and it could not have been more fun. Everyone ordered a different entre and the all loved them!
As always the food quality and quantity is very good. I tend to keep my drink selection simple (glass of wine or a beer), as the cocktails are not my favorite (mix and price). The servers are very nice and attentive.
service was not great. forgot things, took tons of time to get a drink order and receive it, etc. restaurant did apologize and
Setting and food were fantastic. Our server was absent for long periods. Maybe they are understaffed and having trouble finding enough willing workers, like so many businesses these days. With average service this is easily a 5-star rating overall from me, the food is fantastic.
Everything was fantastic! Great food, drinks and service with beautiful weather on top of it and a great table outside!
Loved the Croque Madam (stuffed waffle)! Waitress was super friendly and atmosphere was fun. Great brunch with the girls!
Menu says "we have the right to charge 20% gratuity to any party". Never seen that before on a menu. FYI: They have milk only - no soy, oat, almond milk. Food was just okay. Not bad. But not excellent. TIP: There is a bakery next store that is excellent :)
We visited the green pig bistro for brunch and really enjoyed their drinks and food. Onions were a little weird on the chicken and waffles but still very tasty.
Went for brunch 5/22!
Waiter was impatient, tad bit rude. For example, we asked him what was some of the popular items on the menu. Assuming he'd ring off his faves and their top sellers, he mentioned two items and was like if y'all still need time I can come back. He told us he works a lot so he doesn't get to try the brunch items, but In the same breath said one of the croquet madame waffle was his fave. He also was tight lipped in telling me about their house made sausage. Weird very much??? Never had a waiter be so impatient and bothered to tell us about a menu lol.
Drinks were 10/10. My hibiscus mimosa was yummy, nice and bubbly. We also had a tequila Bloody Mary, the bacon in it was delicousssss.
Food was 4/10. The deviled eggs came well put together, there was about 6? They were standard, nothing special, cooked well. The bacon bits added a nice crunch but no wow factor. The shrimp and grits was a hard pass, full STOP. The tomato sauce tasted like hot sauce and tomato sauce that's in spaghetti. Not what I was expecting. The grits didn't taste like they were cheddar. The shrimp were big and plump, only positive. Didn't finish. The croquette madame was pretty good. The waffle was very very delicious, we talked about wanting the traditional one if there was ever a next time.
