The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is located in the heart of The Liberties, Dublin 8. The home of experimentation at Guinness, our brewers are given the creative license to dream in beer. Explore exclusive small-batch brews, all of which are limited editions. Not too sure what beers to try? Don’t worry, our beer specialists are at hand to help you choose a beer paddle suited to you. We offer casual dining, with dishes designed to perfectly pair with our constantly rotating beer menu. Our seasonal food menu is curated using locally sourced Irish ingredients.

I loved the opportunity to taste/sample a number of Guinness's experimental(?) offerings. I'm hopeful they might become available in the US. The food was okay, nothing special, but that really wasn't the reason for the visit.

We had a lovely meal and a few flites with some fab ales, cider and of course the black stuff (pints!!). Amy was our server and she was just lovely ! Friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about everything…. Even where we should go afterwards! Will definitely be back!

The complimentary pint as you arrive to your table is a nice welcoming gesture. We tried at least 6 of their beers, all of them astonishing. All the snacks were fantastic, the Rockshore battered onion rings were a highlight, the veggie flatbreads were delicious and a Guinness ice cream brownie dessert was a nice surprise at the end the night, I only wished it had a bigger scoop (it was delicious!). All the staff is friendly and helpful, always with a smile! We had a great time! Definitely a nice summer night in Dublin and another good reason to visit Guinness.

Making a trip of Ireland on our honeymoon and my husband and I HAD to stop here! Made our reservation a month in advance and thank goodness we did! The area was full and bustling, yet quiet enough to have a convo with each other without shouting to be heard. Kat and Lee were fantastic servers- friendly, helpful, attentive. Delicious food, wonderful drink selection. Do the flights!

Great couple of hours spent here. Staff are outstanding. Super friendly, fun, well informed and made us feel that they were truly delighted to help. Special mention to Lee, who served us. As a Dubliner, I am delighted to see an Irish institution portrayed in such a favorable light. Beer prices are relatively good value for a Dublin city setting and the food is basic, but went well with the beer. I loved the 3 beer tasting, which was 3 1/3 pints so you could taste a few different beers. We will definity be back.

Our visit was brilliant & will defo be back. The beers where so good! I am not personally a big fan of craft beers but when we arrived we got a free taster and it was delish that I ended up trying a few IPA'a and beers that I wouldn't necessarily of tried. The 3 half pints for 8 quid was a great way to do this and wasn't robbery! Staff where very helpful as well! Great atmosphere, had a great laugh and the fish tacos where very good👌
